On September 7, 2022, at approximately 7:03 P.M., I was sitting in the right lane of travel on Interstate 55 just before the 1
southbound exit. Traffic was congested and stopped due to a prior incident on the Interstate 55 Bridge. I observed a red
Pontiac Grand Prix pass me on the right shoulder traveling approximately 50 miles per hour. I pulled to the right shoulder and
turned on my blue lights to initiate a traffic stop.

The red Pontiac pulled to the shoulder a short distance ahead and I advised dispatch of the traffic stop. I exited my patrol unit
and made contact with the driver at the driver’s door. I introduced myself and told the driver why I stopped him. I asked the
driver if he had a driver’s license and he said no. I immediately smelled the strong odor of marijuana coming from the car. I
asked the driver to step out of the car and speak with me at the rear of his vehicle. I noticed a female sitting in the passenger
seat and asked her if she had an ID and she said no she did not have an ID. The driver stated he was trying to take his friend to
the hospital because she wasn’t feeling well.

The driver exited the car and walked to the rear of his car as we talked about his friend being ill. The driver said he was trying
to get to the exit to turn around and go back to the hospital in West Memphis. I asked the driver if he had an ID and he said yes.
I asked him to get it for me and he handed me an Illinois ID card that identified him as ERIK WINFERT from Chicago Heights,
Illinois. I asked WINFERT if the car belonged to him and he said no it belonged to a friend. I told WINFERT his MIRANDA
RIGHTS and asked him if he understood his rights. WINFERT said yes he understood. I told him I could smell the odor of
marijuana coming from his person and the interior of the car. I asked WINFERT if he had anything illegal in the car and he said

The security camera at a dairy in Paiján in the department of La Libertad captured the death of a worker after he fell into a food crushing machine. The victim and his coworkers were unloading corn plants from a truck at the time of the accident.
When suddenly his arm got caught and then his whole body fell into the cattle feed cutter.

On May 6, 2023, an Allen Police Officer speaking to a mother and her two kids heard off more than 10 gunshots in the distance, at the Allen Premium Outlets mall. The officer calls in the shots fired over the radio and another round of gunfire is heard. The officer grabs his weapon and tells shoppers to get down. The officer runs across the outlet mall for approximately two-to-three minutes, and multiple rounds of gunfire are heard throughout this time. The video was edited by the department to blur out the faces of civilians and victims, and some language was removed. In it, gunshots ring out and the officer is heard saying, "Shots fired. Shots fired. We got people running." He grabs his gun, yells for people to "Get moving!" and heads toward the gunfire.

About four minutes into the footage, the officer raises his weapon and shoots at gunman, identified as 33-year-old Mauricio Garcia. After he fires several more times, it's eerily quiet for the first time since the chaotic footage began. "Shots fired by police. I got him down!" The officer shoots two more times, and screams, "Drop the gun!" Little more than five minutes after the footage began, the officer had fatally shot Garcia. Another officer approaches Garcia's body and the officer who ended the mass shooting, says, "We got him bro... we got him." Garcia murdered 8 people and wounded another 7 people when he went on his deadly rampage. On June 26, The Texas Rangers and the Collin County District Attorney’s Office presented the evidence to the grand jury. After reviewing the evidence, they ruled the use of force was justified under Texas law.

Eduardo Sarabia has been charged with sexually assaulting two women near the Angeles National Forest between May 12 and 13. He is being held without bail.

Police discovered Sarabia allegedly raping a 26-year-old woman off of Highway 39 in the Angeles National Forest in his 'rigged for rape' 2015 Ford Transit van.

On Friday, May 10, 2024, at approximately 11:40 P.M., I (Trp. Dylan Evans) observed a sedan traveling at a high rate of speed
on I-40 westbound near the 278-mile marker. The sedan was in the inside lane of traffic passing a vehicle in the outside lane
then placed its right turn signal on to exit I-40 at Ingram Street. I observed the sedan traveling west on the North Service Road
and turned to travel north on Ingram Boulevard behind another vehicle. As the vehicle in front of the sedan turned and the
roadway was clear, the sedan accelerated quickly and began traveling at a high rate of speed toward Southland Gaming and
Racing. The sedan then changed lanes quickly to pass a vehicle turning into the south entrance to the casino. I attempted to
conduct a traffic stop with the silver Volkswagen (displaying TN LPN: BRT2175) as it pulled into the Southland Gaming and
Racing parking lot.
