Just like the rest of you I’ve been living in this nightmare for over a year and a half now. It’s a little different for me though as I am a nurse at our local hospital. March of 2020 was probably the scariest time of my life. As Covid began spreading across the globe my coworkers and I were informed that our unit had been chosen to be the designated Covid unit in our hospital. Of course, we all immediately thought we were going to catch Covid and die because of the way the media portrayed the illness. Additionally, most of us have families so we also feared bringing it home and basically killing our children. It was terrifying for about a month…. Then I started noticing a lot of inconsistencies. Now I thank God that I could watch this unfold from inside the hospital, a vantage point that most do not have. I knew very early on we were being lied to and there was so much more going on than we were being told. I decided that I wanted to share the info that I am able to get from inside the hospital in hopes that it might help some of you. Most of us know that Covid is mostly a glorified flu virus and there is a lot that you can do to provide yourself protection. I’ve basically been bathed in Covid since April 2020 and I’ve never gotten it so I will share with you what I’ve done. I also want to give you some information on what the nurses part is in this because recently I’m seeing a lot of social media demonizing nurses. Whether anyone is interested in the info I put up or not, I have no idea, but I just want to put it out there for you. I’m going to keep myself anonymous so that I can share freely without having to worry about losing my job over company policies, not to mention I really value my privacy.
