"One by One" is a 2014 film. Rik Mayall (featured in the film) died suddenly and unexpectedly on 9 June 2014 at the age of 56 at his home in London 5 months after the release of the film.
Synopsis: A group of friends meet at a cafeteria to discuss population reduction conspiracy theories. One scene features Ernest explaining how a bio-engineered virus and fake science could be used to reduce the population by 95%. Ernest suggests "mass genocide on a scale never seen before. There is a mass of ways to introduce population slaughter, staged events and the use of bio-engineered diseases, not this generation but the next." Dion replies, "That's madness!" To which Ernest replies (with Mayall's characteristic, quick wit, and final joke) "You're right, they would never wait for two generations."
