.... Opa-locka, FL — In the land of the free, police frequently and unapologetically carry out military-style raids on completely innocent people by descending upon the wrong home. Whether it’s due to the wrong address on the warrant, faulty GPS, or just blatant carelessness, the results are the same. Innocent people are traumatized, terrorized, assaulted, beaten, or even killed. One video from Florida this week, gives the rest of the world a glimpse into the government-sponsored terrorism being carried out on innocent families by cops who continuously fail at doing their jobs.
.... Jeff Bryon and Stephanie Crespo were peacefully sitting inside their own home earlier this month with their 8-month-old baby when all of the sudden, a masked man barged in holding a gun. That masked man was an undercover cop with the Opa-locka police department.
.... According to Local 10 News, earlier this month, Opa-locka police officers received an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers that a man with a chrome handgun was walking around threatening people and asking them for money in an apartment complex at 13875 NW 22nd Ave., Opa-locka police Chief James Dobson said.
.... Police said the caller gave a description of a man but never told them an apartment number. So, without having any idea where to go, this masked home invader entered a random family’s apartment. It was clearly the wrong one, but the still-unnamed officer couldn’t have cared less.
.... Video taken by Byron shows the masked man with his gun out along with another cop holding a gun too. Byron told reporters that without warning, officers burst through the door with their guns drawn while their 8-month-old baby boy was in the home. The officers never showed a warrant and never even announced themselves before terrorizing this innocent family.
.... After the home invaders burst into his apartment and began terrorizing his family, Byron somehow managed to get himself together and start filming. As the video shows, the cops did not care that they were in the wrong apartment and wouldn’t tell them why they were there.
.... When the masked cop saw that Byron was filming him, he apparently lost it and proceeded to knock the man’s phone away. This is both assault and a violation of Byron’s constitutionally protected right to record police. Remember, he had done nothing wrong and the police were the ones in the wrong here.
.... Nevertheless, just as soon as they barged in and terrorized the family, they were gone and this innocent family left to pick up the pieces.
.... “To me, honestly, I feel like just that officer right there, he just needs to be off the force because he’s, he’s just a loose cannon,” Byron told Local 10 News.
.... After the video was posted to Facebook, police were forced to respond to the incident.
.... “The Opa-locka Police Department cannot comment on the exact facts of an active investigation,” Dobson said. “It takes any and all allegations of misconduct very seriously. Any allegation of police misconduct will be investigated immediately.”
.... Only after the video started to pick up steam did the department finally respond by suspending the 15-year veteran officer from the force. He is still getting paid however, making this “discipline” little more than a paid vacation.
.... “We are very serious about this investigation,” Dobson said. “It’s going to be transparent and will be professionally done.”
.... We won’t be holding our breath.
.... Time and time again, we hear the police apologist crowd claim that “if you don’t want to be attacked by police, don’t do anything wrong,” and time and time again, videos like the one below prove them wrong.

5-28-19 Ramadan in the Gaza Strip is different this year.
The fasting month for Muslims began with Israel’s assault, which killed more than 25 Palestinians.
Many who survived the attacks were left homeless after Israel demolished residential and commercial buildings.

“[The Israeli army] told us that within five or six minutes, not a single person should be in the building,” Majdi Dughmush told The Electronic Intifada. His home was destroyed during the attack on the Abu Qamar building in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City on 5 May.

“People were barely able to leave and alert each other to leave.”

“The joy of Ramadan is gone, the bombing left a huge impact,” Muhammad Zayda, another resident of Abu Qamar, told The Electronic Intifada.

“We had bought everything for Ramadan and it was all destroyed at the same time.”

Still, Palestinians in Gaza insist on resisting Israeli oppression by celebrating the arrival of Ramadan.

“We will celebrate Ramadan the way we do every year, with our religious tradition, with our customs,” said Ahmad al-Jaouni, who sells qatayif – cheese or nut-filled pastries traditionally eaten during the month.

“The Palestinian people were born amid challenges, born to challenge difficulties. We will overcome and victory is ours.”

The UN Independent Commission of Inquiry on the 2018 Gaza protests presented its conclusions, according to which 183 Palestinians were killed by Israel, including 35 children.

The investigative commission of the United Nations Human Rights Council that examined the most recent round of violence on the Israel-Gaza border presented its findings on Thursday, saying it found "reasonable grounds" that Israeli security forces violated international law.

The commission determined that the majority of Gaza protesters who were killed by Israeli forces --154 out of 183 people -- had been unarmed.

The panel also recommended that UN members consider imposing individual sanctions, such as a travel ban or an assets freeze, on those identified as responsible by the commission.

The findings were rejected by several Israeli officials, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who said that Israel outright rejects the report: "The council has set new records of hypocrisy and lies out of an obsessive hatred for Israel."

Israeli snipers deployed near the separation fence to police the protests referred to as “the Great March of Return”, shot over 6106 demonstrators, killing 183, between 30 March 2018 and 31 December 2018.

10-23-18- Florida police are getting some unwanted attention after one of their officers was filmed punching a 14-year-old girl while grabbing her shorts.
The Coral Springs, Florida police department is under the spotlight this week after a video has gone viral of one of their officers repeatedly punching a 14-year-old girl. Naturally, the department is telling the public to reserve judgement as the video does not show the entire story.
....... The video was uploaded to Instagram over the weekend and shows two officers—one male and one female—hold down the girl. The male officer then grabs the girl by her shorts and unleashes his fury with his fists.
....... “Why you hitting her?” someone in the video yells. “She can’t do that, her hands underneath her, the f*** you hitting her for?”

... Chikesia Clemons of Mobile was asking for plastic utensils at the Saraland Waffle House when she became the victim of excessive force by a Saraland officer, according to AL.com.
... Clemons's mother, Chiquitta Clemons-Howard, told AL.com the violent arrest should never have happened.
... The cellphone video, recorded by Clemons's friend Canita Adams, shows a brief interaction between Clemons and the Saraland Police officers before the 25-year-old was pulled to the ground.
... A total of three officers can be seen standing over Clemons and trying to pull her arms so they can arrest her. Somewhere along the way, Clemons’ clothes are partially pulled off, exposing her breast to customers that remained in the restaurant.
... "What are you doing?" Clemons can be heard asking an officer.
... "I'll break your arm, that's what I'm about to do,” the officer responded.
... Just before 3 a.m. on Sunday, Clemons was booked on charges of disorderly conduct resisting arrest.

... When Clemons and Adams said they purchased food the night before and didn’t pay for utensils, the unidentified employee canceled their order. Clemons then asked for the contact information of the Waffle House district manager.
... "They didn't even ask her to leave, she was waiting for them to give her the district manager's card so she could file a complaint on one of the waitresses," Clemons-Howard told AL.com. "When they went to go get the card, that's when the police showed up. The officer should've come in and said we need you to leave."
Mobile NAACP President David Smith said in a Sunday statement that the organization is investigating the incident.
