On TheGoldFish Report No. 241- Louisa welcomes special guest Patt Bekken who shares with us her inspirational journey of a "Walking Meditation" as she describes the physical, mental and spiritual tour de force of walking the almost 500 mile journey of The Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage in Spain, also known as 'The Way of Saint James." Patt describes how once the decision to embark on this journey was made, the universe both supported her and challenged her in preparation for this monumentous undertaking with synchronous events and signs that confirmed her decision and reinforced her resolve to accomplish this pilgrimage. Patt also shares two websites that contain information to assist and or consult with people who are preparing for this and other pilgrimages. Pat shares how the Pilgrimage is common in Native American culture and is mostly organized by the catholic church and other denominational churches for resting places and meals. Aside from the personal experience and process one goes through on a pilgrimage, Patt emphasized that the people she meets along the way make this personal pilgrimage a touching and memorable social exchange as she meets people from all over the world who your encounter along this long and winding journey of enlightenment. Patt also walks pilgrimages in The United States as well and has been working on organizing a pilgrimage for persons with disabilities.
