Going over the 3rd Generation S&W Shorty Forty Five, based on a model 4513 .45 ACP compact frame, silver/stainless slide with an aluminum frame.
This amazing DA/SA pistol was done by the S&W Performance Center, starting in 1996 with 662 of them made. Came with a Briley Bushing https://www.briley.com/c-511-bushings.aspx , Novak sights, slide to frame fitting, trigger job, checkering on the front strap, dual recoil springs, magazine disconnect, and 7+1 .45 ACP capacity in a compact frame.

True craftsmanship from the Performance Center.

Have you heard? I am losing my voice. About two years ago I had sever blepharospasm's, I now get injections to limit my eyes from closing. One of the reasons I wear the sunglasses. Now my voice is going, and trying to get a doctors appointment has been a pain, with an appointment 3 months out, as I can't go to an ENT without a referral. So I am taking a little break from videos and will try to change my videos for less talking and more visuals.
I am thankful for my subscribers as I try to get to the magic 1,000 to become a real channel, and see if YT restricts any of my content.
I am just an independent content creator sharing things I bought/acquired over my lifetime, with you the viewer. No sponsors, no real agenda, just my views on set firearms, knives, and gear.

Experimented with a few devices in my driveway to capture the total solar eclipse.
If into the stars and planets the ZWO SeeStar S50 is neat to track and see things as a smart telescope. Works great with a tablet. Cost was $400, now its $500. While some might say its expensive, compared to other options for telescopes and the portability and ability to capture video/pictures, and track set things, it is a good option to look at, if into astrology. I had friend bring it over, and was impressed
Other videos were done with my smart phone, GoPro, and older cameras. Only used some video and sped things up for time.

Cup Holder Hero has soft rubber inserts for your vehicle. Supports most makes from 2007 and up. Trim colors of Black, Silver, Blue, and Red.
Protects the bottom of storage areas, reduces items from sliding and making noises, aids in insulation and sound deadening.
Cost is about $25-$35 and available on Amazon.

I am not sponsored by anyone, I just do videos on things I own. To support my channel, like and subscribe. Thanks.

Will wood pellets burn in a Solo Stove Lite? In this video I do some simple tests.
While a bio fuel type stove is neat and handy, what if everything outside is wet, or there is no wood to burn like on a beach?

Be it heating water on beach, when power goes out, or in a survival situation, having the ability to heat water for a drink or food can be important. Having wood pellets could be a quick easy way to have things ready, but you might need something to get the fire going.

Its not just about owning gear, its about knowing how to use it, and how it will work. Test the gear you own.

Finally bought an MKE, I have heard people say its made on officially licensed tooling in Turkey and its a good copy. It is one of the cheaper options, but I am not impressed by the fit/finish on mine. It seems like a cheap surplus pistol, vs a new firearm. Zenith used to import them, now its Century Arms. Zenith now makes their own in the USA. I feel the Zenith is a better buy.

Had some issues I noticed when I got the pistol. E-mailed Zenith. They thought it would be good. Went to shoot it, and nothing but failures to feed. Sent back to Zenith (they covered shipping and repair costs). Took about 2 weeks to fix (quicker than I expected). Have yet to shoot it, but they did fix areas I had issues with. Hope to shoot it in a few weeks with a Century MKE I ordered, that should be in by the time this video posts.

Comparing my Mark 23 magazines and the USP 45 magazines, along with some extended magazine options for 17 and 20 rounds.

Going over the magnetic Mob Armor Phone Mount, Charging Pad, and Flex Magnet, along with installing it on my iPhone, inside my King Ranch, Ford Explorer.

CAVCOP tries the main accessory meal items, that come in the current (2024) Dutch MRE's.

Subject to regular changes for basic MRE items based on supplies on hand.

Follow the adventure, with the Dutch MRE series. Give a like, leave a comment, subscribe to this small but growing channel.

Going over the S&W M&P, more specifically the .45 ACP with manual safety.
Older video I did when I first started doing videos in 2022.

In this video, I try all the powdered drinks that come in the Dutch MRE.
3,350ml of water is needed. Any questions, hit me up. I will probably toss the packages a week after this video is released. I have the calories written down for now.
Spoiler alert, nothing tasted horrible.

This Menu Number 8 (items subject to change over time) 5,299 calories and 3lbs.

Breakfast: Fruit Muesli and Oat Muesli w/yogurt & banana

There are 8 menus with each having 3 main meals = 24 options.

All Menu's come with a version of the following as its accessory items;

Its not a real MRE, if it does not come with a spoon lol.

Going over a product that raises the height on the comb of your rifle, to aid with higher sight lines, due to scopes and optics. Test fit it on a few rifle stocks and shotguns in the video

Made in the USA of Kydex, and velcro. Removable, reusable. Comes i a variety of colors (can be custom ordered in any popular kydex pattens if you contact the manufacture) . Initial impressions are its a great product, with a wide range of use for todays optics. I might get a few more.

Comparing the H&K premium SP5K pistol to a cheaper Zenith ZF5-P.

Is the $3,000 German pistol worth the cost vs the $1,200 American made Zenith clone? Do you get a better fit and finish? Is the H&K superior for welds?

Spoiler alert; I will probably be sending the Zenith back for warranty work, due to I think is a small issue, but never should have passed a quality control inspection.

To be fair, H&K comes with a nice carry case, a 1 point sling, 2 magazines, and a sight tool. Zenith comes with a cheaper carry bag and 1 magazine. But is that a $1,800 difference?

Video edited to fit my 15 minute time limit, as I have less than 1,000 subscribers. Should I do shorter videos and break it up?

16" 300 Blackout barrel with a 1:8" twist, pistol length gas tube, .750" gas port, carbine buffer. AGM Rattler TS thermal scope, color fill using nail polish.

This video is to show how to assemble an AR/M4 lower receiver, using basic tools (No fancy blocks, mounts, etc...) I try to show a few easy ways to do things, based on my years of experience. Its a simple process anyone can do at home.
Lower receivers are "the firearm" and have to go through an FFL, but for $50 you can buy a stripped lower (along with FFL transfer fees, which tend to be going up as the FBI charges more to maintain an FFL).
Why buy a stripped lower? Cost. If you want an AR/M4, you can buy just the lower for $50 and then pay a $25-$50 FFL fee. Other parts can be bought later., as you can afford them, through the mail or at gun shows. Another bonus is you are buying a stripped lower, that you can "build as a pistol". If you bought a complete rifle AR/M4, made by a company, its a rifle and can never legally be a pistol, unless you get a tax stamp/SBR/register it, and then you have worry about selling it later or doing paperwork to change it. A pistol you build, can stay a pistol, or be made into a rifle and back, based on the law. The AFT has put out, a pistol can be converted to a rife and back to a pistol, but a rifle must stay a rifle. Don't risk becoming a felon, making a rifle into a pistol .

TIPS (you might fail to read);

DO NOT USE ANY LOCTITE.
USE A RAG TO WORK ON.
USE OIL/GREASE ON METAL TO ALUMINUM PARTS.
LINE THINGS UP, AND TAP LIGHTLY AT FIRST.
USE TAPE OR CARDBOARD TO COVER THE RECEIVER (so you don't leave marks if you miss with a hammer/punch).
USE A LARGE CLEAR BAG TO INSTALL SPRINGS/DETENT PINS (as they might fly off).
TIGHTEN THE GRIP AND CASTLE NUT, THEN BACK OFF, AND RETIGHTEN (season the threads).
STAKE YOUR CASTLE NUT, IF COMPLETE AND A SELF DEFENSE USE (non range toy).
BE CAREFUL WITH THE TRIGGER GUARD EARS TOWARDS THE REAR WHEN INSTALLING THE REAR ROLL PIN, AS YOU COULD BEND/BREAK THEM.
