The Flying Fortress. A name that conjures up images of brave young men conducting daylight raids deep in enemy territory, far from home. The B-17 was bristling with defensive weapons and could also carry a heavy bomb load to distant locations. It rapidly became the symbol of US air power of early 1940s. We take you inside the B-17F to expose how it worked, how it was operated and the tactics that made it a formidable offensive and defensive weapon. It's reputation and achievements have made the B-17 one of the most iconic and recognizable aircraft in the history of aviation.

Rockpalast Cologne Germany March 14, 1980.

"Fools in Love" was written by Joe Jackson before he founded the Joe Jackson Band. At the time, he was a member of a band called Koffee & Kream, a band whose music he described as "schmaltz". As he recalled in his autobiography, Jackson wrote "Fools in Love" as a "rebellion" against his then-current band's music, citing the song as an instance of his new style emerging.

Over a looping reggae bassline, which I hoped was vaguely sinister, I catalogued all the sick and deluded things that lovers did to each other, but ended each chorus with a twist: "I should know because this fool's in love again". I wasn't in love, but the juxtaposition of the romantic and the cynical suited my new style to a tee.

This well-researched video attempts to dive into the ancient Roman thought process of healing and medicine. By analyzing four different cases, each of different time periods, complexities, and social classes, we hope to present a vivid image of how the Romans approached healing. From low level dentists to personal physicians of emperors, and from superstitious treatments to the most scientific, the Romans did all they could to heal the ones they loved... Regardless of their efforts, however, the countless illnesses and their treatments always played a huge role in shaping the social, economic, and political spheres of ancient Rome!

Greatest Hits is a greatest hits album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 21 November 1988 by Warner Bros. Records. It covers the period of the band's greatest commercial success, from the mid-1970s to the late-1980s.

It is different from the similarly titled 1971 release by the Peter Green incarnation of the band and contains a different track listing. The 1988 album draws only on recordings from after Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined the group in 1975, omitting earlier hits such as "Albatross" and "Oh Well".

The album has proven to be a major success since the time of its release. It peaked at number 14 on the US Billboard 200 and sold steadily over the years since its release, and has to date been certified 8× platinum for shipping eight million copies there. In the United Kingdom, it reached number three upon release and has returned several times to the UK album chart and has been certified triple platinum for shipping 900,000 copies there.

"Mama" is a song by the English rock band Genesis, released as the first single in 1983 from their self-titled album. It is recognisable for its harsh drum machine introduction composed by Mike Rutherford, which leads into minimalist synthesizer lines in a minor tonality and finally Phil Collins' reverb-laden voice. It remains the band's most successful single in the UK, peaking at No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart. It also made the top 10 in Switzerland, Austria, Norway, Ireland and the Netherlands.

07:27 It's Gonna get Better (long version)

A Day at the Races is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 10 December 1976 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and by Elektra Records in the United States. Recorded at The Manor, Sarm East, and Wessex Sound Studios in England, it was the band's first completely self-produced album, and the first completed without the involvement of producer Roy Thomas Baker; engineering duties were handled by Mike Stone. It serves as a companion to Queen's previous album, A Night at the Opera, with both taking their names from Marx Brothers films and having similar packaging and eclectic musical themes.

The album reached the top of the charts in the UK, Japan, and the Netherlands. It reached number five on the US Billboard Top LPs & Tape chart and was Queen's third album to ship gold in the US, subsequently reaching platinum status in the country. In 2006, a listener poll conducted by BBC Radio 2 saw A Day at the Races voted the 67th greatest album of all time.

Tattoo You is a studio album by the English rock band the Rolling Stones, released on 24 August 1981 by Rolling Stones Records. The album is mostly composed of studio outtakes recorded during the 1970s, and contains one of the band's most well-known songs, "Start Me Up", which hit number two on the US Billboard singles charts.

The credited members of the Rolling Stones for the album were vocalist Mick Jagger, guitarists Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood, bassist Bill Wyman and drummer Charlie Watts while older tracks feature former Stones guitarist Mick Taylor ("Tops"), keyboardists Nicky Hopkins and Billy Preston, Black and Blue session guitarist Wayne Perkins ("Worried About You") and founding member Ian Stewart.

The album proved to be both a critical and commercial success upon release, reaching the top of the US Billboard 200. To date, it is the final Rolling Stones album to reach the top position of the US charts, concluding the band's string of eight consecutive number-one albums there, dating back to 1971's Sticky Fingers.

In 1989, it was ranked No. 34 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 100 greatest albums of the 1980s. In 2003, the album was ranked number 211 on Rolling Stone's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, then re-ranked number 213 in the 2012 revised list. Peter Corriston, who was responsible for the album cover's concept origination, art direction and design, won a Grammy Award in the category of Best Album Package.

Desperate times call for desperate measures, and in the skies over Germany during 1944 and 1945 - the Luftwaffe desperately needed a way to counter the hordes of allied bombers that were bombing the nation into submission. When all other attempts failed to materialise in time, an attempt to turn a Ju 88 "Schnellbomber" into a late-war interceptor was worth a try?

Cover Art:
"The new artwork has been selected and can be described as an ‘impressive iconography’. I think the artwork is gonna be another great classic moment for Priest. We’re noticed for British Steel or Sad Wings of Destiny or Screaming for Vengeance and I think that the artwork will come into the same degree of the qualities of those three. I think this new artwork has that kind of essence. It’s another unique moment. The artwork is always very, very important for this band. I think that what we wanted to try and do with this particular piece of artwork was try and capture all of the elements of the band in certain imagery, and we appear to have been able to have done that and we’re all kind of looking at it now in it’s final stages and nodding and agreeing."
— Rob Halford (2004)

A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on 21 November 1975 by EMI Records in the United Kingdom and Elektra Records in the United States. Produced by Roy Thomas Baker and Queen, it was reportedly the most expensive album ever recorded at the time of its release.

Named after the Marx Brothers' film of the same name, A Night at the Opera was recorded at various studios across a four-month period in 1975. Due to management issues, Queen had received almost none of the money they earned for their previous albums. Subsequently, they ended their contract with Trident Studios and did not use their studios for the album (the sole exception being "God Save the Queen", which had been recorded the previous year). They employed a complex production that extensively used multitrack recording, and the songs incorporated a wide range of styles, such as ballads, music hall, sea shanties, dixieland, hard rock and progressive rock influences. Aside from their usual equipment, Queen also utilised a diverse range of instruments such as a double bass, harp, ukulele and more.
