In this video, I show you how to make the first gravy I learned to make as a teenager. It's my belief that if you can learn to make this one simple gravy you can use the same basic techniques to make any kind of gravy and many different thickened sauces. This gravy is made with only four basic ingredients, a sharp knife, a skillet, and a slotted spatula, then salt and pepper to taste. I believe anybody can learn to make good gravies, just like grandma used to make. Give it a try, and I hope you enjoy the video.
