Welcome back to the Nash Potatoes Outdoor Show. Today, I'm at Loveland Ski Area in Colorado. This is my second time skiing at Loveland, but my first time skiing the trails off Chair 8 on the other side of Interstate 70. I'm excited to show you that area as it was extremely beautiful.

This trail is on the other side of Interstate 70. Last time I skied here, this area wasn't open yet...due to a lack of snow. I was quite nervous about this area because it looked so steep and...I assumed there would be a limited number of groomed trails.
This trail was great, but I had to stop about halfway down. It was just narrow enough that I wasn't sure if I could safely pass the skiers ahead of me.
This trail was fun, but it's both steep & narrow...and the landing area in front of Chair 8 is extremely small. I'm usually a pretty aggressive skier, but that small landing area had me a bit nervous. I ended up getting passed by two skiers who clearly had no fear whatsoever. It was actually really cool to watch them.
At this point in the day, I was ready to head back to the main area. These are the trails I took because it looked like the easiest way back...
There is actually a tunnel that goes under the highway, but I heard it was a giant sheet of ice. The Scrub Trail under Chair 4 would've been a great way back, but...as you can see it wasn't groomed. For me, skiing moguls is no fun at all as it usually leads to a wipeout. The route I took was insanely beautiful, but to be honest...I hated it. The path through the trees was extremely challenging and a bit dangerous. I kept looking for an alternate way down, but didn't really see anythi..
