Late walk 'n talk video on national digital currencies, with focus on the Swedish E-Krona. As always, the Scandinavian countries are pioneers in the latest digital trends. Thus also the pioneering in the most privacy invasive technologies. Cash use in Sweden is down to 13% as of 2018 and the time might come when cash is almost or completely obsolete here. But how is it in the rest of the EU? What's EU up to about this? Listen in as I ventilate some thoughts about this. Video Originally uploaded on YouTube March 3 2019.

Winter is coming, and let's hope for a real cold white winter. Here's an amazing military shearling (sheepskin) coat that needs to be introduced. Good old vintage army gear.

Cozy steampunk footage from over hundred years ago in Northern Sweden. A private propeller-driven sleigh (Aerosani) takes off in the view of a few spectators. Must have been quite a futuristically romantic feeling riding away in that snow vehicle back in 1912.

Think about it, what is one of the most aggressive “thing” that actually thing is endangering lives and spreading today? What is the cause of it and how it can be stopped is a long topic. I just had to make a short video bit on this - as even the insurance companies in Sweden are affected have by this real pandemic. Originally uploaded on YouTube Dec 2 2020.

ARK stands for Armijska Ratna Komanda (Army War Command) and the D0 (D Zero) part stands for top secret level 0. Which was the highest grade of secrecy. So the purpose was obvious, to create a secret and nuclear proof facility in which the commanders could stay alive and control whatever warlike circumstances were happening out there. If they needed. The following text is from the blog post, which includes photos - https://sanjindumisic.com/titos-bunker-ark-d-0/

The bunker was built to withstand 25 kilotons and facilitate 350 high ranking military leaders and politicians for six months completely underground. The bunker has a total area of 6400 m² and includes every facility needed for survival, communication, comfort, supplies, surgery room and so on. The deepest level is located about 280 meters under the top of the mountain. Konjic lies in the heart of Bosnia & Herzegovina, and was also in the middle of Yugoslavia. The mountainous terrain in that region is hard to conquer, good for defense, close to pure water and airports. Tito’s army fought the biggest battles against Nazi’s in WWII in those mountainous landscapes and even in the latest aggression on Bosnia & Herzegovina the aggressors had a hard time for success. Hence the choice of location from which the highest military command of the former Yugoslav army JNA would be relocated in case of a total war.

Did Tito ever visit the nuclear bunker? Not officially, however, he visited factories in Konjic so if he had visited the construction site it would have been in secret. The visitations to nearby facilities could have easily been cover ups to visit the bunker. This was the third most expensive military investment in Yugoslavia (the most expensive was Željava Air Base followed by harbor Lora in Spit) the boss surely must have kept an eye on the progress.

The reason the bunker is intact is because of two members of JNA (Yugoslavian National Army) who defied the orders during the aggression on Bosnia & Herzegovina to blow up the place. They disconnected the wires leading to explosives located in the 50 ton fuel tanks, before evacuation. The bunker hasn’t been operating military since 1992, until it was still a top secret and unknown to even the people living nearby.

The bunker opened to the public in 2012 due to the Contemporary Art Biennial Project which is located inside, so the bunker is now a museum or an exhibition place, sort of. Since then it’s open for visitors for 20 BAM (10 €) and that’s the only activity that brings money to the bunker

So the question is why the contemporary art project which is dependent on paying visitors? It has to do with the statute of the site, although govern by the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Tito’s Bunker has had a complex journey of ownerships and such bureaucratic nitpicking. That by making it a cultural site for art would hinder any destruction, privatization and radical change in ownership that could leave the property neglected. In 2014 Tito’s Bunker officially became a national monument of Bosnia & Herzegovina.

No matter how amazing this project was, I still regard it as I do Željava Air Base – as a big investment that should have been made on civilian needs. That’s because Yugoslavia, just like Sweden, in a situation of a Soviet invasion (including the Warsaw Pact) would have had their airforce, navy and all such forces destroyed after the initial day of full scale defense. After that, the defense would have been continued on the ground. Unless of course the nukes were used. The only way Yugoslavia would have lasted against Soviet is if NATO and other western powers were drawn into the conflict. I base this opinion on both common information and biographies from former Yugoslavian and Swedish military personal and their statements. When you think of how many of these multi billion projects are now abandoned and unused it’s a disastrous waste of money.

So much infrastructure could have been built instead or whatever was needed. Small towns had secret bases nearby, cities like Mostar had air craft factories and the military production was going strong. That money went into complexes for oblivion and out-of-dateness. Modern weapons make little room for secret locations and today’s nuclear weapons has an easy job for Cold War bunkers. Maybe the lesson is that if monumental military investments are to be made, they must be made wiser than they were done at that time. Or is it all a scam and ways of transferring money – War is Racket after all. If you make people fear something, you control them.

How would you go about to inform people during a time when the masses were illiterate, pen and paper wasn't easy to come by. Not to speak of publications and tyrants censoring whatever doesn't suit them? After his death, Niccolò Machiavelli's book 'The Prince' began to spread around despite getting banned. Today his surname has become a term, Machiavellian, and while his work is seen as a guide for psychopaths in power - how can you make something that exposes the nature of power for the masses, and not have it become inspiration for aspiring leaders? His dedication of the book was in my opinion a cover for the book to get passed and published. The Medici rejected it anyway and the author died never imagining what path the book would take and still be talked about 500 years later. Anyway, here are some thoughts on that. /All the best

Full book title: Beskrifning öfver en äfventyrlig resa til och ifrån Ost-Indien, Södra America, och en del af Europa, åren 1755, 56, och 57. Af Johan Brelin

Originally uploaded on YouTube Jan 15 2020.

In this book tip I want to mention a book by Johan Brelin, a sailor on the Swedish East Indian Company. The book was published in 1758 and I have a facsimile copy published in 1973. He got left behind by his crew on the island Ascension (then an uninhibited volcanic island) when he got lost and injured his foot while it got stuck in a crack. His ship had anchored there to catch some turtles, and unfortunately Johan got lost on the island while part of a group that set out for the hunt.

What followed was hardship on the island, among rats and scorpions, and crazy animal screams at night. Search for food and shelter and all that typical island survival stuff. He was lucky, because a French ship had anchored at the island on its mission to warn other French ships about the war with England. Eventually he was saved by the French crew who took him in as one of their own. They sailed to Brazil where Johan shares many interesting accounts about what he saw. Back in Europe they arrived in Portugal months after the great Lisbon Earthquake in 1755. Which brought deep changes in Portugal and its position among in the world. We get honest and descriptive insights into the various places Johan visited, its people and culture. All very concise and illustrious from a world that still was different.

This isn’t really about a specific book, but more a tip or a reminder of biographies and experiences written down long ago. It’s a way to get into parts of history that you might be interested in, by reading firsthand experiences. For this I have a book titled 'A Swedish Slave in Morocco' (Svensk slav i Marocko) written by Marcus Berg, about his time in slavery during the Barbary slave trade, aslo known as White slavery done by the Moors, Arabs and Ottomans.

For fellow Swedes reading this, here’s more material

Everything can be visually faked and rendered indistinguishable from real footage with modern CGI power. How far will this evolve? Are we already NPC's in a simulated world? In the Matrix? Or are we simply biological beings created and put under the spell of a comical cognitive dissonance? Isn't this the reoccurring topic of what constitutes our reality? With the exception that in our day and age the computer simulation theory fits in the best? To soothe our need for grasping old questions: What are we? Where are we? Who made us? What is our consciousness? And for our modern day and age: Can that consciousness be transferred or is it unique?

A year in the life of a child in its seventh year is about fourteen percent of a lifetime for them. Compared to a person in their fortieth year, which is only two point five percent of a lifetime. Obviously quantity is a key factor. Another factor is our collective years. (Originally uploaded on YouTube May 12 2019).

As we experience more life, meaning more years of more and more content and such, our lives will get intertwined into other peoples lives. The years of my dear and loved ones become my own, the years that pass from certain important events add up. Memories and stories also gather up. Even the years of history we read about and see traces of in architecture intertwine with our own. The point is that everything our minds deal with fill up a part of us. Otherwise we’d be confused and not be able to organize mental time- and event keeping at all.

So a person with decades of life has all these years of events and memories from themselves, their close ones, their surroundings and their history - in addition to the micromanaged scheduled time from work, paperwork, household economy and whatever - to deal with. No wonder many say time flies by. But a year is a year in any year. We all know about the quote of filling years with life and not life with years. It's all a habit, being active or passive in life. When I’m energized and despite having a lot of things to get done - if I still feel the immaculate sensation about something. Then it’s ok. However if I’m a bit overwhelmed or become victim of time, meaning starting to lose quality of perception and deeper attention. Then I can ask myself, is this just a phase, like say just an intensive period of work, moving into a new place or solving chaos. Then ok. That’s life too. Having a regular practice of attention or contemplation is a good way to speed down, focus and relax. For me energy isn’t about the amount of sleeping but how well all parts of my life are coexisting at the moment.

Few late night lines on censorship. Originally uploaded on YouTube Oct 27 2020.

No time without censorship or dislocation of dissidents. Might makes right, every time. That doesn’t mean might is righteous, but that’s how our human story flows. Every idea has its period, from inquisitions to modern day censorship. People have been burned, shot, decapitated and tortured to death for their ideas. So why should we be weak and whine about censorship today? We know it happens all the time and that our own idea, if they reach the mainstream, will be censoring others. Until they get the upper hand and once again that’s how our human story unfolds.

We battle for ideas, words or weapons can’t conceal that human fact. Accept what is going on, speak up, but never make a whiny losing sound. Never utter a complaint or weakness. Be the invasion that those that want to silence you fear.

YouTube is one platform, there are many others. We have web sites, usb drives and books. Rip the videos, audio files and pdf books, put them on a drive and share with someone. Let's focus on the possible ways than to give google a godlike status and beg for mercy there. The sooner they make this platform a cute kitten story the sooner the alternative or alternatives will bloom. They already do. So seek out the other platforms, bookmark actual site and support those independent journalists by donating or buying their books.

A losing perspective attracts loss, a winners attitude threads towards victory. Which is ours.

The other day Brandy Vaughan, an educator on vaccines died. Like so many independent journalists, whistleblowers and truth speakers all over the world. Some we never heard of because they are active in smaller countries with less popular languages. But this happens too often and in this short video I just want to make a statement on it.

Vocals: Linnéa Lindqvist. Lyrics: Sanjin Đumišić.
Video footage: Yaroslav Shuraev

Finally after ten years a song of mine got recorded, it took a decade but the right singer came along at the first shot. Back in 2009, around springtime, I wrote a song in Swedish which was meant to be sang by that Nordic folk voice that is typical of Norway and Sweden. However, I had just formed an instrumental psychedelic krautrock band and tried to squeeze that song in. Interesting, but not how it was meant to be sung. Years passed by, I even ran a music site called AlltFörMusik.se, where I met all sorts of musical people - but still no voice to be found for my song. More years passed by, in between travels, love, work, new projects and family life - I still didn't find a voice.

Then in 2019, at the end of May, on a rainy day I was strolling around in Göteborg city. By some instant call I got the idea of going to the Academy of Music and see if I could get in touch with a singer. Not in the mood, but always respecting the instant calls I went there. It was empty, the cafeteria was open and I got a cup of coffee. I talked to one woman, she didn't sing but said there must be someone right for me under the roof, but on a different day. Eventually I walked to the end of the facility and just stared at something, partly looking for a trash can for my cup. I threw the cup and saw a woman about to enter the building through the glass doors. She had her key deep in the backpack, so I walked up and open for her. She said "Tack", and I let her pass by. My brain processed her sound once again and heard something of that Nordic folk style in that "Tack". The chances of her being a singer are much higher inside these walls than on the outside, so I walked up to her.

From this point on everything went smooth, I explained what I wanted and what I was looking for. She nodded yes, and told me to send the lyrics. I did. During the summer she sent one interpretation and I immediately heard the voice style for which I wrote the song back in April of 2009. I told her about the ten years of waiting and that she was the right one. My mission was to get a decent solo recording of that song. We agreed upon that, agreed upon the commission and as their term began again in September I finally got the recording.

Now I have a beautiful version of the song, that's a good starting point. My own voice didn't do it justice but was good enough to give the singer a glimpse of the feeling. For the time being I have no musical arrangements for it, or the time to make them. But I do have other songs. And at last, an autumn video to accompany the song. Getting this done was on my 2019 list, I did it. The lyrics are dreamy and poetic, Linnéa's voice made it alive, thank you! It meant a lot to me to get this done, I used to sing it for my children in the womb and at many other occasions.

Here's a music video I cut together with footage from the classic apocalyptic sci-fi film Metropolis. Originally published on YouTube 4 Oct 2014 https://youtu.be/zKQfxi8V5FA. Combined with sci-fi folk song In The Year 2525 by Zager & Evans. I really found them fitting together in a dystopian transhumanist meets Aldous Huxley's Brave New World kind of way. What awaits humanity after the intense technological and biological developments set in motion? If we ever get there? Thea von Harbou had some intensively accurate visions of the future. And Fritz Lang did the visual masterpiece. All this is now a classic topic about the future of humanity. In this video I wanted to concentrate the idea, the message and the visions of the future. With the classic one hit wonder song and outstanding vintage film footage.

LYRICS

In the year 2525, if man is still alive
If woman can survive, they may find
In the year 3535

Ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lie
Everything you think, do and say
Is in the pill you took today

In the year 4545
You ain't gonna need your teeth, won't need your eyes
You won't find a thing to chew
Nobody's gonna look at you

In the year 5555
Your arms hangin' limp at your sides
Your legs got nothin' to do
Some machine's doin' that for you

In the year 6565
Ain't gonna need no husband, won't need no wife
You'll pick your son, pick your daughter too
From the bottom of a long glass tube

In the year 7510
If God's a-coming, He oughta make it by then
Maybe He'll look around Himself and say
"Guess it's time for the Judgement Day"

In the year 8510
God is gonna shake His mighty head
He'll either say, "I'm pleased where man has been"
Or tear it down, and start again

In the year 9595
I'm kinda wonderin' if man is gonna be alive
He's taken everything this old earth can give
And he ain't put back nothing

Now it's been ten thousand years, man has cried a billion tears
For what, he never knew, now man's reign is through
But through eternal night, the twinkling of starlight
So very far away, maybe it's only yesterday
