Should we ABOLISH the Police?

What’s up guys? It is Ethy and in this video I’m going to be asking and answering one question: should we abolish the police? So the ideology I’m going to be dealing with entails the thesis that there are unjust laws and police commit acts of immorality mostly in virtue of enforcing these laws so therefore the whole institution of the police force should be abolished just because it’s a corrupt institution and we should basically transcend into a state of anarchy meaning a state of no government and no laws so no police to enforce those laws. Let me just start off by saying yes, there are unjust laws in place but for the greater good it’s better to have people uphold those unjust laws along with fair just laws, rather than to not uphold any laws and let society devolve into the state of nature. Philosopher Thomas Hobbes talks about how the state of nature is horrible as in a situation where there’s no government no police force and it’s just total anarchy, because in that type of situation virtually nothing is stopping anyone from trying to fulfill their selfish, and or disgusting desires, if I have homicidal or, genocidal tendencies, if I want to rape, or if I want to pillage in the state of nature there’s not a whole lot in my way to stop me from doing these things atleast there’s not as much in my way as there would be if there was an entire government trying to prevent me from doing these things. Now, Thomas Hobbes used this point to support his thesis that we should have a powerful dictator in place because such dictator could prevent this horrible state of nature because one he’s powerful enough to do so, and two he has motivation to do so because from an economic standpoint, or even an egotistical standpoint, the state of nature which would basically be a civil war in a society is not conducive to a dictator making money or looking good to his advisors, his people or even other countries. Now, I am not a Trump supporter so I’m not in favor of having a dictator or a wannabe dictator in power because they won’t necessarily do what’s conducive to sentient beings unless we’re talking about a constitutional dictatorship where the constitution says to bend to the will of sentient beings but in that case we basically have a democracy anyway. That being said I would draw a similar conclusion as Thomas Hobbes from the point that this horrible state of nature is pretty much inevitable if there’s no government to prevent it. We don’t need a dictator to prevent the state of nature but we do need something to prevent it and a police force, a criminal justice system, etc. that is governed by a democratic system is really the most effective thing I can think of to prevent mass violations of sentient beings. Also, if we didn’t have any government and just embraced anarchism what’s stopping others from breaking anarchism and creating a fascist regime for example? I think the biggest problem with anarchism is it basically sows the seeds of its own destruction, if you hate authority, the rational thing to do is to minimize it to a reasonable degree where the government isn’t infringing on your rights, the government is protecting your rights, instead of getting rid of all government because in which case the chances of an insanely corrupt government arising increases and increases and increases without proper protection and anarchism by definition doesn’t offer proper protection against the prospect of a fascist regime or some sort of corrupt government coming to fruition. That could easily come to fruition in a state of anarchy but the only way it could come to fruition in american society is if you overthrow the United States government, yeah, I think that’s easier said than done. So we need people to uphold the government even if that entails upholding some unjust laws for now and we should reform the government rather than abolish it because that’s what’s conducive to sentient beings overall.

You see there’s a large distinction between laughing, snickering and making harmless jokes, and making jokes that are disgusting and immoral in nature, I personally run a instagram meme page that isn’t related to veganism where I just repost memes most of them being quite edgy, and I’m not gonna lie and say every joke I’ve ever made or every post I’ve promoted wasn’t immoral in nature but atleast in my tending to that page I never lose sight of the fact that the messed up jokes I make do not cross over into reality if I post a meme about murder I do not then go out and murder someone, but these individuals do the opposite. They joke about the torture, murder and exploitation of animals and then they go do it, ya see the difference is, they use humor as a justification or a mental trampoline to bounce off the sinister reality of the situation, the reality is everytime you pay for that cheese burger or that gallon of milk or anything else of that nature, in you paying a price for it, someone else pays a price for it, the mainstream human consciousness sees a joke about Derek Chauvin’s knee on Geoge Floyd’s neck and they’re horrified, they see a joke about eating meat where the joker is actually going to carry out that action, they don’t care, they see the latter as normal. Stop normalizing it, stop acting like non veganism is a victimless lifestyle, it’s the perpetual striking down of others saying “you don’t matter because you’re not intelligent enough,” “you don’t matter because my culture says so,” “you don’t matter because I like the taste of your seasoned flesh,” well I’ll have you know this arbitrary criteria for value is a complete and utter falsehood, good is that which is desirable so in order to acquire that good we ought to facilitate a world where the desires of sentient beings are harmonious, if you desire a certain item on your plate you get that item at your expense not at the expense of anyone else, the striking down of any animal for reasons of this nature is nothing but the striking down of your own morality. But you don’t care right? There’s surely something I can poke fun at or do to get on your nerves that brings you pain, you care about little things that get on your nerves, why don’t you care about a blade slicing through the nerves in the throats of those who you oppress? It’s selfish to the worst interpretation of the term. But who am I kidding, moral knowledge is not the same as moral motivation that produces moral action, you can know what is moral and be the most immoral motherfucker in town, but this is self defeating because when you don’t care about evil, you’re setting the example and further instituting the existent rule of selfishness and immorality, why are you so confident you will be the exception to that rule? A world infested with the evil partly of your own making is like quicksand especially when you institute the rule that joking about that which is immoral and perpetuating it even more when others call you out for it is something advantageous to do. Because when you’re the one sinking and suffocating in the quicksand, the most likely scenario is that those hearing your struggles will be laughing, snickering, and making jokes as you sink deeper and deeper into the darkness. And if they take a page out of the individuals book who you saw earlier, they may even put their foot on the top of your head and push you down in the name of comedy.

Moral Subjectivism DEBUNKED
Script:
Protagoras who lived from 490 BCE to 420 BCE is regarded as one of the greatest sophists to ever live and is regarded as one of the first philosophers in western civilization to embrace relativism. He is famous for him and other sophists stating that “man is the measure of all things.” This of course conflicted with Plato who believed there was an objective truth, that there were correct definitions of words that corresponds to the forms of different concepts that according to him your soul interacts with when it’s separated from the body that you remember in light of your experience in bodily life and this is how you recognize virtue as being virtue as he details in the Meno, Plato maintained that these forms are the ultimate objective truth and it’s not merely up to a given individual to decide what things are and aren’t. The forms can be interpreted as mere definitions that everything falls into, if something corresponds with the form or definition of moral for example, then that thing is moral. The Pythagoreans on the other hand came to the conclusion that Protagoras was incorrect when stating that man is the measure of all things in the area of math or more specifically geometry. Obviously the pythagoreans gave us the pythagorean theorem, which after Descartes figured out how to express geometric truths in an algebraic form is expressed as c2=a2+b2. Basically saying that for every right angle, the square on the hypotenuse is equal to the sum of the other squares on the other two sides. The pythagoreans ended up worshipping mathematics and taking it to be a product of the divine. Both Plato and the Pythagoreans are onto something, that definition kills subjectivism. Mathematical truths like the pythagorean theorem are only true given other notions merely accepted to be true. Same goes for other truths like a bachelor being an unmarried man, we accept that because we seemingly dogmatically accept a bachelor to be an unmarried man by definition. But if that’s dogmatic, then accepting the truth that X=X would have to be dogmatic as well, but claiming to not accept that X=X would be a contradiction on pain of it being an affirmation and negation of X being X, it’d be saying X isn’t X. Today, there are many people claiming that man is not the measure of all things in the sense that everything is relative to a given individual, but they are claiming that man is the measure of all things moral, rejecting any notion of an objective morality. But morality is simply a word that has a definition, and definitions are thought to be objectively true that’s why bachelors being unmarried men goes on uncontested. So what is the definition of morality? Does the definition of morality warrant it as an object relative to the whims of any given individual? Empirically, no, the definition of morality isn’t whatever a random person thinks to the majority conception of what the definition of morality is. Ask virtually anyone if crashing planes into the world trade center on 9/11 was justified for the terrorists in virtue of their particular whims aligning with said action. They would obviously say no, and if language should have the function of conveying meaning, surely we should pick the definition most common to us, that’s why we generally call chairs chairs instead of something that only us or our friends would understand. So empirically, what is morality? Well, simply put, it is what is desirable. That is the top google definition but not every top google definition is in alignment with what a word is thought to mean. That being said, virtually any action that is deemed bad is deemed bad because it goes against desire. Murdering, raping, stealing, you name it is all bad because someone else desired the absence of it. Even the desire for rape or murder and therefore it being labeled as good by a given individual is still based in desire. So the most common definition must be what is desirable. This definition then forces not just humans but all desiring beings into the equation in deciphering what is moral. Only once we take into consideration and reconcile all desires will we have a clear picture of what is moral. Man is not the measure of morality, but man or humans is the origin of morality and then simply a variable in the science of morality.

Most of these people you’re probably already aware of but right now you probably understand or see what’s actually going on with these individuals. By psychotic I don’t mean they’re necessarily suffering from psychosis but they might as well be because all of these youtubers seem to have lost contact with reality.

1. Nicole Arbor
So many of you probably heard of Nicole Arbor after she uploaded her “Dear Fat People” video where she basically just made fun of obese people in a very unproductive way but nonetheless that’s not even half of what makes her psychotic, she apparently abused Matthew Santoro also according him, of course she denies it but I’ll let you come to your own conclusions.

Making the Dear Fat People video and allegedly abusing Matthew Santoro is not even half of the reason why she’s on the list. She made a particular video that I would like to bring to your attention.

There’s nothing better than telling people to stop talking about the most important issue facing humanity. Why should vegans shut up? Why should we be silent when we actually have a voice to speak out against oppression unlike the vulnerable animals you abuse and murder. We are committing a genocide against these sentient beings who have a vital interest of living and you’re trying to stop the people who want to intervene and irradicate animal abuse on this planet, Nicole even admits that eating meat is barbaric.

Right so that was an appeal to nature fallacy I could just as easily say animals in the wild rape the female counterparts of their species so I can just go find Nicole Arbor, smash her in the head with a rock and rape her unconcious body. This is why you can’t appeal to nature and think that nature is the golden standard of morality because what’s with entailed nature is actually the antithesis of your interests. Disagree with me? Live out in nature with no man made tools or help from human civilization at all, now how good is nature?

Oh yeah look at those sharp teeth I wonder what kind of animals she could rip into, I really hope she doesn’t come try to bite me, sike, I can just smash your pathetic teeth with a rock just because you can do something doesn’t you should like the example I gave before I don’t think she’d be happy if I knocked her unconscious and raped which I could fucking do but I’m not going to because I know that just because I can do something that doesn’t imply that I should.

I agree it’s not a skill to have basic decency and not fucking murder and abuse animals but if it’s so easy to be vegan then why aren’t you vegan? I don’t know if she lacks compassion for all sentient beings but animals are in fact valuable due to them having values. It's not very complicated if something contains values it is in the category of value. It is by necessity because if you hold any other definition of value you are doing one of two things, one you’re ascribing value to whatever your sky wizard tells you to ascribe value to which is problematic because you probably can’t prove your imaginary friend’s existence. The second option is to appeal to subjective morality where you only take your own notions of value instead of taking other sentient being’s values into consideration as well like I do. Subjective morality of course could justify a non vegan position. But the problem is, subjective morality makes absolutely no sense. If you’re only relying on your own notions of good then A. it’s gonna be a rude awakening when others physically show you that your notions of good don’t align with their notions of good, B. you’re disadvantaging yourself because under subjective morality you of course have to construct your whole morality instead of having an objective framework, so as a subjectivist you’re much more likely to be caught in contradictions and you have no clue when your emotion is going to change which of course then changes your morality. One minute you may think eating meat is justified, the next minute you may not. This ambiguity of when your morality is going to change is a problem. GANG VIOLENCE COMPILATION
In this video I compile clips surrounding gang violence in america. None of these clips belong to me I just would like to spread awareness of how serious of an issue this really is. I think the biggest contributing factor to gang violence is poverty. Mainly contributing through underfunded schools, and underfunded households. That being said, even with an optimally funded school system, we're still not taught how to be compassionate and moral, and why we should do so in the first place, in an ideal way. We need to teach compassion and justice like we teach science and math. As something undeniable that is instilled in the brains of the youth. What we need most is to not only fund these schools and fund these communities, but reform our schools and the way we act in the community in order to have a society in place that is conducive to the prosperity of all sentient beings. What’s up guys it is Ethy and today I’m gonna give some more thoughts on some more antinatalist related things that I haven’t touched on. Let’s start with one of the contentions with my objective morality that entails natalism, one of the arguments against it was just an assertion that I’m somehow silly for objectifying morality and using morality in the way it’s most commonly used. Ask the average person if it’s potentially moral to skull fuck a baby if your feelings say to do so, the vast majority of people would say no, you’re fucking crazy so if moral subjectivism which I’m literally defining as subjectivist cognitivism where you think your feelings reflect what’s morally justified and those statements can be true or false but not in virtue of any objective standard, the standard is just your feelings so therefore in essence there’s really no standard at all except your own, then subjectivist cognitivism is incorrect because it doesn’t live up to the most common perception or definition because the vast majority of people think morality is not subjective and if there’s a dichotomy between objective and subjective then morality must be objective to the most common definition. To get the most common conception of morality you have to bring all of the conceptions of value from evaluators into question aka all sentient beings conceptions of value into question and you decide your course of action based on the values of sentient beings. Sentient beings value their values therefore the common conception of value is what sentient beings value. Value is valuable. I try to make it my goal to use the most common definition because that facilitates the most reasoning possible, we need to agree on the definitions of words before speaking to have as productive a conversation as possible. And if you disagree and think we should all be able to use our ridiculously niche definitions of words, think of your ability to reason with an individual who exclusively speaks a language you don’t speak at all. You won’t be able to reason with them, you’ll barely even be able to communicate with them at all. Yes you could learn spanish or whatever language they speak or vice versa but the point is the reasoning process would’ve happened a lot quicker and a lot better if we just had a common language from the start so since a common language or common definitions facilitates maximum reasoning between reasonable beings then to go against this common language would be unreasonable. You’re not doing what’s conducive to reasoning and if you disagree, just think about if all of the scientists that ever existed exclusively spoke different languages, think about the condition that science would be in today. Also, I find it funny that people have told me that I’m somehow silly for objectifying morality, someone actually said not too long ago that I’m stupid because “I’m a teenager who thinks he solved morality,” well I think the fact that I solved morality as a teenager and you still haven’t and you refuse to even after I told you explicitly how to do it, and how to create a perfectly sound argument for objective morality that makes it so skull fucking babies isn’t just a matter of some psychotic motherfucker’s feelings, yeah I think the fact that you haven’t solved morality says more about you than me. Another contention was that morality literally can’t be objective I’m gonna just briefly cover this one because it’s actually brain aids, anything that you define to be objective can be objective to say otherwise is rejection of a priori knowledge which I’d love to hear the argument for if bachelors are defined as unmarried men, bachelors are unmarried men, that’s a priori knowledge and there’s a priori support for that. There’s also a priori support for my objective morality literally being defined as more than your feelings and if it’s more than your feelings it is objective. That’s literally how I’m defining objective and that’s how most people define the word objective: more than just your capricious feelings, my morality is about all feelings. Moving on from objective morality, it seems like the last defence of being anti birth to prevent suffering no matter how much wellbeing or good things will be caused by said birth is just saying that all wellbeing is the deprivation of suffering.

All I was pulling into question was whether or not George Floyd was killed due to his race. Ben Shapiro gets OWNED on Abortion
What’s up guys it is Ethy and in this video I own Ben Shapiro on abortion. I’ve been wanting to do a response to this Ben Shapiro video for a while now and I finally did it so I hope y’all enjoy. Ben Shapiro’s position on abortion has shaken up alot of the left, not many being able to give a cohesive rebuttal to what he puts forward. That being said, rebutting his points is not an impossible task. In fact, I find it to be quite effortless. Ben Shapiro does not substantiate why abortion is wrong, he just gives you his feelings towards it, which does not entail that abortion is wrong. I take the position that abortion can be morally justified as you can have an abortion before the baby is sentient meaning it doesn’t contain any values therefore it’s not valuable. This baby can be valuable to other sentient beings but the value that Ben Shapiro has for example of not wanting these babies to die, is overridden when the mother has a greater desire to have an abortion. Her desire is more valued and therefore more valuable than his, so it should be taken over his. The non vegan and the slave owner have several things in common. They both operate in such a way that is corrosive to their victim's values and they both take their trivial interests over another's vital interests. Since we’re talking about interests and values I think there is something we need to establish about values straight out the gate. Nearly every value in your mind has been given to you in some form or fashion. People who grow up in a conservative family are usually conservative because their family taught them conservative values. People who grow up in native tribes may feel a spiritual connection to nature that others don’t generally feel because others weren’t taught these spiritual values. You yourself do not pick and choose what you think is valuable. What or who you think is valuable is an emergent property from the environment around you. Most values you hold aren’t inherent to your being, you were taught them. The only exception is your value of happiness which is inherent in all sentient beings. Every other value was taught to you. So, I don’t mean to plagiarize Malcom X but some questions I wanna ask the non vegan or the slave owner is, who taught you that these individuals don’t matter or don’t matter as much because of our trivial differences? Who taught you to hate your brothers and sisters who are all interrelated due to something called sentience? Who taught you that you should discriminate against others based on their shell and not what’s on the inside? Who taught you to judge someone based on your perception of them and not the content of their character? Who taught you that your perception is the only thing to consider? Who taught you that you shouldn't open yourself up to compassion and empathy and realize that you do not get to pick what is valuable as what is valuable comes socially? And if what is valuable comes socially, from the values of others, who’s notions of value have you been neglecting? For the non vegan, why are you rejecting the values of animals? Why do you hear their screams in the slaughterhouse and don’t do anything? Or is the problem that you don’t hear the screaming at all? Of course you’re going to feel comfortable disregarding the values of these individuals because you were taught as a child to reject these values. Like the great philosopher Plato said, “They spoke to you at an age when you would most readily believe them, some of you being children and adolescents, and they won their case by default, as there was no defense.” As a child you were most likely told that the values of other humans and certain animals are considerable, but the values of chickens? Fuck them that’s dinner. The values of deer? Fuck them, let’s go hunting. The values of turkeys? Fuck them it’s thanksgiving where we celebrate a genocide with a genocide and we open up our victim’s asshole to shove stuff in it that’s embedded with and covered in things that came from a genocide. Before the non vegan exclaims “but hey, you said values come socially, most humans are telling me that it’s okay for me to not be vegan!” Sorry buddy but last time I checked, sentient beings value not being brutalized more than you value brutalizing them, your value for taste pleasure that you could get from somewhere else mind you is a trivial interest, this trivial interest is nothing compared to the vital interests of sentient beings. Values are given socially but non veganism exists because we are largely ignorant to who’s screaming for you to stop brutalizing them. We are largely ignorant of who’s saying these are my values! I want to live! I want to breathe! I can’t breathe! Now, as for the slave owner, I would say basically the exact same thing. The first sentence of this speech didn’t give you the whole picture. The non vegan and the slave owner don’t only have several things in common, they are the same, they both own slaves or objectify them as if they own them. The only difference is that typically the slaves non vegans own are dead and their corpses have been cut up into little pieces. We massacre 72 billion land animals and over 1.2 trillion aquatic animals around the world every year for food alone. Stop being a slave owner, stop supporting the animal holocaust, and become a vegan animal liberation activist

The US Government & Their Crimes Against Humanity

What if I told you that on american soil a holocaust is perpetuted everyday that is far beyond anything that Hitler and the nazis could’ve hoped to achieve.

Police Brutality

There’s been a lot of talk of police brutality in recent years. Many protests have arised from police officers killing people for no just reason. I’m not going to go into several cases and determine one by one which situations the police acted appropriately, but rather I’m just going to show you a horrific example of police brutality and how the criminal justice system reacted to this incident of police brutality. Eric Garner was approached by the police on July 17, 2014 in New York City. Allegedly the reason why they approached him was due to suspicion of him selling single cigarettes from packs without tax stamps. According to an article in The New York Times many of his past arrests had been for the same type of thing, selling unlicensed cigarettes, although he had been arrested in the past on charges such as assault, resisting arrest, and grand larceny. This may seem to paint a picture that is the opposite of what I’m trying to get but the video I’m about to show you does not show him assaulting the officers or violently resisting the officer’s arrest. That being said, sorry about the quality of this video this is the only version I’ve seen allowed on youtube without annoying reporters narrating. Viewer discretion is advised.

As you can see the police randomly started strangling him despite him not doing anything violent, the only thing you could describe as resisting arrest is him backing up and putting his hands up. If that’s such a threat to several police officers with firearms then what isn’t a threat? Does putting up your hands give police the right to fucking murder you? Does it give them the right to continue suffocating him after he said he couldn’t breathe 11 times? Because if you didn’t know he did die from this. This is not a simple mistake, they had plenty of opportunities to help him breathe and stop him from fucking suffocating which is a horrible way to die mind you and the most ridiculous thing is no indictments of police officers took place even though this was not only obviously excessive force, the use of chokeholds among police officers was banned in New York City in 1993. Those cops didn’t only do something horribly immoral in the name of the law they also just stood around while one of them did something that has been prohibited for more than two decades prior and the criminal justice system still didn’t indict any of them. Eric Garner’s killer Daniel Pantelo did get fired for this but had no criminal charges. And a little side note, 5 years after he murdered Eric Garner this motherfucker tried to sue the NYPD for firing him saying their decision was “arbitrary and capricious,” No sir, what was arbitrary and capricious is the fact you didn’t get life in prison like anyone else who randomly strangled someone to death would get. You can find ridiculous instances of police brutality that hardly result in any indictments all across america.

Police randomly attacking and murdering humans is not the only issue, there is also the problem of police officers murdering people’s dogs.

The War on Drugs

The war on drugs is the prerequisite for alot of cases of police brutality. There is also the issue of the war on drugs playing a key part in gang violence, drug deals gone wrong in particular.

What’s up guy’s it is Ethy, and today I’m going to touch on the Kyle Rittenhouse situation, yes I know this seems like it doesn’t matter that much on the surface but nonetheless brain dead Trumpers are trying to use this situation and situations like this to make you vote for Trump. I already made a video going in detail about why Joe Biden is an infinitely better candidate than Donald Trump which will be linked in the description but just because I am an avid Biden supporter doesn’t mean I fall in line with most of his supporter’s views, I am a democrat but there are a number of issues I stray from the rest of the dems on, or atleast it seems like most of the democrats think Kyle Rittenhouse should be charged with murder. When in reality based on the evidence we have this far I think it’s fairly obvious that he didn’t murder anyone he merely defended himself which resulted in 2 dead and one injured. More investigation is needed, definitely and I’m not saying I’m 100% sure but from what I’ve seen I think it’s very obvious this is an instance of self defense. Don’t get me wrong, the title of this video isn’t completely reflexive of my views, I’m saying he did nothing wrong in the sense that he defended himself and he had every right to do so. That being said, he shouldn’t have been out there with that gun, he shouldn’t be out there being insanely provocative to violent criminals, I don’t know what this dumb fuck was thinking, it’s not hard to imagine what would result from you open carrying a fucking firearm around abunch of rioters. And anyone saying he’s 17 therefore I should give him a break, I’m 17 and would never do anything like that, Kyle could’ve easily gotten murdered and he almost did as the 26 year old male he shot apparently had a pistol, but basically Kyle could’ve easily thrown his life away by doing this and he’s already in jail with murder charges and who knows if he’s even going to beat it, and if he does go to prison I don’t even want to think about what’s going to happen to him due to his recklessness that got him into this situation in the first place. So don’t get it twisted, is he a murderer? Yes, because he probably isn’t vegan but is he a murderer of humans? Not as far as I’m concerned. They literally chased this motherfucker, you can see clearly in this video, Kyle Rittenhouse was being chased and when rioters caught up with him and he fell to the ground literally unable to escape, he defended himself, shooting 3 people who were attacking him, killing two of them and blowing a chunk off of one of the rioter’s arms and like I said, the guy who only got shot in the arm and survived apparently had a pistol in his right hand when he was shot, this case being self defense is literally just so obvious I feel stupid even covering it.

What’s up guy’s it is Ethy and in this video I’m going to be tackling one of my favorite topics which is the Carnivore Diet. I have come across a lot of delusional ideologies throughout the years in my philosophical inquiries, antinatalism, pro life, sjw twitter vegans, but the carnivore community really takes the cake as the most delusional ideology I have come across. So since this is a diet hence most people’s justification for following this diet would obviously be for health reasons I’m going to debunk the claim that the average carnivore diet is healthy straight out the gate, and I’m defining the average carnivore dieter as someone who eats a restrictive diet that only includes meat, fish, and other animal foods like eggs and certain dairy products as Shawn Baker puts it.

So the first thing I want to show you is this PDF that was made by 5 different people consisting of MDs and PHDs that take into account 38 different studies and this is what is said in the abstract

“The normal low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol range is 50 to 70 mg/dl for native hunter-gatherers, healthy human neonates, free-living primates, and other wild mammals (all of whom do not develop atherosclerosis). Randomized trial data suggest atherosclerosis progression and coronary heart disease events are minimized when LDL is lowered to 70 mg/dl. No major safety concerns have surfaced in studies that lowered LDL to this range of 50 to 70 mg/dl. The current guidelines setting the target LDL at 100 to 115 mg/dl may lead to substantial undertreatment in high-risk individuals.”

The average total cholesterol level in American adults today is 208 mg/dl (corresponding to an LDL of approximately 130 mg/dl) (13). In this case, average is not normal because atherosclerosis is present in up to 40% to 50% of women and men by age 50 (14). Atherosclerosis is endemic in our population in part because the average person's LDL level is approximately twice the normal physiologic level (Fig. 1).

So if the average american’s total cholesterol level is not healthy, the average american of course having a lower cholesterol level than the average carnivore because they consume less cholesterol than the average carnivore imagine how unhealthy the carnivores cholesterol level is, unless a carnivore is seriously starving themselves or only eating the few animal products that don’t contain cholesterol there is virtually no way their cholesterol could be in the healthy range of 50 to 70 mg/dl where atherosclerosis progression and coronary heart disease events are drastically minimized

We assessed whether the association between LDL and ASCVD (atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease) fulfils the criteria for causality by evaluating the totality of evidence from genetic studies, prospective epidemiologic cohort studies, Mendelian randomization studies, and randomized trials of LDL-lowering therapies. Consistent evidence from numerous and multiple different types of clinical and genetic studies unequivocally establishes that LDL causes ASCVD.

So I have more evidence to back up my claim that the typical carnivore diet is not fucking healthy mainly due to LDL cholesterol having a causal role in heart disease but I don’t even see the point in bothering at this point if you’re not convinced by what I’ve showed you so far then if you die of a heart attack that’s basically natural selection. But since there’s unfortunately a lot of propaganda going around saying that following a vegan or plant based diet is by necessity unhealthy I’m going to debunk that claim now as well.

What’s up guy’s it is Ethy and in this video I’m going to be explaining why antinatalism is wrong, a lot of people have come at me for this position and it makes no sense because antinatalism makes no sense. Now a lot of antinatalists have said a lot of nasty things to me and I just want to make it clear that I have no animosity towards any of you, I think that you’re wrong and would prefer you be civil, but I love the passion that antinatalists have and I think it’s a very strong community that likes to give it’s takes on things and I think this is beneficial because everytime you speak your mind you leave open the door for your mind to be changed at least I hope that’s the mentality we all have in these philosophical debates. Now, straight out the gate I want to establish the error a lot of antinatalists make if not all of them, they think causing suffering or the degradation of values by having a child is bad no matter how much wellbeing or fulfillment of values will take place from having said child. I have only seen this arbitrary placement of negative value on suffering to the point where it matters more than well being justified by subjective morality. I will expound on this more in an upcoming video but long story short subjective morality is anti scientific because it is just based on your feelsies, not any laws or objective facts and subjectivism and things alike is the reason why philosophy makes barely any progress and objectivism and things alike is why science makes rapid progress, science accepts the foundations of things and moves forward, gaining more knowledge, I am in the business of gaining more knowledge, I am in the business of progressing philosophy, morality in particular and that is why I reject moral subjectivism. You moral subjectivists bicker about the foundations and disagree on what’s right or wrong instead of coming to an objective standard and this is why you make virtually no progress in the discipline of philosophy. If morality is subjective you have no reason to agree as long as you feel differently, if morality is objective you have to agree or you’re objectively wrong, and that agreement is the foundation for progress because once we agree on the standard we can move forward and progress philosophy like we progress science. To be clear we don’t all need to agree on this standard of right and wrong to progress the discipline but the more agreement there is the more we can build on those agreements and better our understanding and have it be more than your capricious feelings. Also, what I’m doing is not some foreign thing that’s never been done before, throughout history brilliant people have looked at the objectification of science and the rapid progress it’s making and applied it in other fields to mirror that progress, namely, Isaac Newton and Leibniz established the objective fact which is calculus, which is now used in every branch of the physical sciences that’s how powerful and progressive establishing objective facts is. Why should objective facts be established in these disciplines but not in what’s arguably the most important discipline: morality? My moral system is objective because I objectify value as being what’s valuable so it’s an a priori argument that instantiates a law that says value is valuable, whatever is conducive to what evaluators value aka what sentient beings value is valuable or good and to use good in any other way would be using good in a substandard way as the most common conception of good is the basis of my objective morality, it is more than just your feelsies that are not conducive to any real scientific or philosophical progress. Having children can be conducive to what’s valued by sentient beings overall so having children can be moral. Value is valuable, this does not mean that negative value is worse than positive value is good, no positive value is as good as negative value is bad so more positive value is better than less negative value. Suffering is just as bad as wellbeing is good so more wellbeing is better than less suffering and vice versa. Keep in mind though, suffering and wellbeing aren’t the only things to consider as the antithesis of what is valued can occur without evaluators even knowing so without them feeling suffering, so for example if your girlfriend cheats on you and you literally never find out, that’s still bad and what is valued can be accomplished without you feeling wellbeing.

Tyler, the Creator vs. Veganism

What’s up guy’s it is Ethy and today I’m going to be criticising Tyler, the Creator for the non vegan atrocities he’s committed, now don’t get me wrong I like Tyler’s music, I even have a Igor poster above my bed and even went to a Tyler, the Creator concert but nonetheless no one is immune to criticism. I make it my goal as an activist and as a philosopher to be as unbiased as possible. No matter what kind of conflict of interests arises I will always choose justice and peace over horrible injustice and violence. So just to jump right into it in chronological order the first thing that jumps out at me is early Tyler, the Creator’s love of bacon aka murdered pig corpse. In this 2013 interview, the interviewers surprise him with bacon and of course he is thrilled. At Least he acknowledges what kind of animal’s brutalization he’s glorifying by saying “I love swine,” I would play the clip from the interview but I don’t want to get copyrighted. Nonetheless, imagine for a second that these dudes surprised Tyler with dog flesh and he said “I fucking love dog” or “wow I fucking love eating golden retrievers” or whatever breed of dog he happens to eat, if that happened Tyler and everyone involved in this interview would’ve been cancelled on social media there would be public outrage, people would be wanting to kill this guy, and the police would probably get involved aswell and charge atleast some of them with animal abuse. Chances are if you’re watching this video you love dogs and would never even think about harming them but impose animal abuse onto other very similar animals like pigs without mercy. So my question is, what’s the difference? And I swear to fuck, if anybody in the comment section says “the difference is these animals are bred for food and dogs (atleast in america) aren’t?” If you actually think that I think you’d be best fitted living in america in the 16 to 1800s because that kind of logic would justify a lot of things. That being said this isn’t the only time he’s glorified animal abuse through eating pig flesh, he’s actually quite iconic for loving this form of animal abuse. But, it does get kind of complicated when we move up to 2017 when on Tyler, the Creator’s album, Scum Fuck Flower Boy he said in a song named “Pot Holes” “I stopped eatin' bacon” but around this line he was talking about the police or this line could be symbolic of just growing out of things that he used to like when he was younger so it is unclear whether or not he meant that literally. He also made a shirt that said “Meat is murder” with a pig on it, I couldn’t find exactly when this was made but it was definitely from 2018 or older but the only source of context I could find was this redditor named bikerb00 and he said “the shirt is a reference to the pro-vegetarian song by The Smiths whom Tyler is a fan of, but I don’t believe he himself is vegetarian, though he definitely is not vegan.” Take this with a grain of salt because I’m not sure where he got this information or if this shirt being a reference to this song is even true but it would make sense given his non vegan actions after this point. For example, he did glorify the consumption of bacon in a Nuts and Bolts episode from 2019 where he made some weird looking amalgamation of plants, animal parts and animal secretions that involved bacon. And get this, it was his idea to make this. In this video he has the choice of making a food item to serve to customers in a restaurant and this is what he chooses. He had the perfect opportunity to introduce people to vegan food, but no he decides to propagate animal abuse and feed people things that came out of a holocaust. WHY YOU SHOULD GO VEGAN IN 3 MINUTES

Equality is the golden rule. The principle that trivial differences do not justify unequal treatment. This principle has been perpetuated throughout human history, and is constantly spreading. Let’s take America for example. We enslaved others for the mere color of their skin. We denied others the right to vote due to their sex. We through others in insane asylums and tortured them due to their sexuality. In time, this all became resolved due to equality. I want you to stop and think about any individuals that are still being denied equality. I want you to think about who exactly is worthy of equality. I would argue that animals are undoubtedly worthy. In this video, I’m going to prove that going vegan is the right thing to do.
I am not proposing that animals should have the right to vote, I am proposing that animals should have the right to not be abused, raped, and murdered, as they are in animal agriculture. If you are reading this, chances are you eat animal products and may use other parts of animals like fur or leather. Every time you give a cent to these industries you are actively participating in cruelty, oppression, and inequality. The same inequality behind the slavery of blacks, the torture of gays, and things alike. A holocaust survivor made this comparison: “When I see cages crammed with chickens from battery farms thrown on trucks like bundles of trash, I see, with the eyes of my soul, the Umschlagplatz (where Jews were forced onto trains leaving for the death camps). When I go to a restaurant and see people devouring meat, I feel sick. I see a holocaust on their plates.” - Georges Metanomski.
As for anyone who holds the opinion that animals are not worthy of equality due to our differences, I’d like you to point them out to me. Is it intelligence? With this same logic, it is morally justified to abuse and or murder mentally disabled people who have the intelligence of these animals. Is it species? With this same logic, it is morally justified to abuse and or murder animals such as apes, who have been proven to be able to communicate with humans through sign language among other features. As Jeremy Bentham said, “The question is not, can they reason? nor Can they talk? but, can they suffer? Why should the law refuse its protection to any sensitive being?” No matter what difference one chooses to justify this inequality, it always falls flat. This is because value is what is most valuable. Animals can value and desire pleasure. Animals find suffering or the disregarding of their interests, undesirable. For example, animals value the absence of suffering and value their own life. If value is what is most valuable it would make no sense to disregard that which is valuable unnecessarily and go against an animal’s interests.
In conclusion, going vegan and following the principle of equality is the right thing to do because there is no difference between humans and animals that justifies the perpetuation of the suffering and or death of sentient creatures. Inequality has caused many of the most horrible acts in human history. Following the principle of equality is a moral obligation because the necessary value of value itself includes the values of others.
