Jeremy Hoenack was watching his local school board meeting one day when he came across the board introducing their “equity statement.” A statement that called for race-based hiring of teachers, punishment for students, and curriculum changes. After the noise that was made over his assertions about HIV, no amplification was ever given to the rest of his work. Strangely, it seems that the new modalities being used to treat the CV, come straight from Dr Mullis’s career. It seems to me in Mullis we have our generation’s Tesla. At the very least the Tesla of biochemistry... hated in his time for his theories, blackballed by the scientists that are now using his science to build the next generation of medicine. This is a story worth telling.
