The Casio Duro, Reference MDV106-1AV, is a Stainless Steel Quartz powered Diver watch. Coming in Under $50 USD the Duro is exceptional value for the price and is well known among both diver’s and watch collectors. The Casio Duro has a diameter of 44 millimeters, putting it on the bigger side, but wears nice with a lug to lug of 48 millimeters. Shipping with a black resin band, this watch has a lug with of 22 millimeters. Swapping bands for a new leather strap, nato, rubber or silicon band or even a new bracelet offers you a different feel for just a few extra dollars. This Quartz powered Japan movement watch weighs in at 82 grams with a case thickness of 12 millimeters. As this is a dive watch, you can expect it to be on the thicker side, even quartz powered divers. This is expected and needed to provide the water resistance of 200 meters.
