Besides the food propaganda presented as science, we have another great example of pure ideological scientism: climate change!
First people were frightened with the coming of an ice age, then with global warming. Now both of those predictions didn't come true, they rebranded it as "Climate Change", or even more dramatically: "Climate Crisis". None of those predictions were backed up by actual science. People think the opposite, claiming that we have "better computers now", which isn't a proper argument if you look at computer models that were way off recently. But sure, the science is settled...
