Jeremy Boreing of the Daily Wire is in hot water over a tweet suggesting that if you ask questions then you hate America. More specifically if you question the moon landings, 9/11, George Bush, or think its evil to nuke civilians then you hate America. I would say that it is fundamentally American to question the government, just look what our founding fathers had to say about the matter in the Declaration of Independence. Questioning the government does not mean that we didn't land on the moon, or that George Bush was behind 9/11, but it is un American to say you can't ask the question. Question everything, never blindly follow anyone.

The rule of law is a critical piece of the foundation of civilization. Rule of law is currently being eroded in New York by activist judges, prosecutors, and attorneys general; who bend/ignore written law in order to pursue political aims.

Israeli officials have made clear that they intend to retaliate against Iran for the attack on April 13th. What form that retaliatory attack will take is anyone's guess. Many fear that nuclear facilities will be targeted. On the home front, the FBI is now investigating the Baltimore Bridge collapse, Trump is on trial again, and some are calling for "climate justice"

Iran has attacked Israel! An unprecedented response will be made according to Israeli officials. Iran has supposedly given Israel an out, but that does not seem likely to be taken. The United States is already involved in the defense of the middle east nation. Claims from official sources say that the iron dome held, but others point to Nevatim Airbase that was hit by the attack and say its not true.

I have finally figured out why so many people are quitting YouTube, and I am too. It is exactly what you think it is, and not quite at the same time. It is all related to a misunderstanding of what Youtube cares about. Youtube does not care about viewers. Youtube does not care about creators. We are a long way from the days of YouTube being just a fun place for creative people to upload videos, YouTube is a big business now, and their customers are advertisers. Did you think that algorithm was designed to find the best videos for you? Did you think that, as a creator, the algorithm was designed to find you an audience? Nope, none of these things. The algorithm was designed to serve YouTubes customers, the advertisers. Have you wondered why YouTube would promote woke stuff when it turns most viewers off of the platform? Its because advertisers still believe that is what gen z wants, the same gen z they are trying desperately to court. As far as YouTube is concerned, the customer is always right, so thats what you get. If you don't want to make that sort of thing, or you don't fit into the category, or you just don't feel like keeping up with the schedule they set for you then its going to be a hard slog. That is why so many are quitting.

Have you noticed all the YouTube know it alls? From Matt Walsh to PenguinZ0, these people talk as if they know all the answers, and you better not question their authoritative opinions on whatever issue it happens to be. I have to admit I don't know these people, so maybe its just me, but they do sometimes come across as arrogant. Now I will also say that I am new to the PenguinZ0. Seems he's pretty big, so maybe thats just the way you've got to be in order to be taken seriously on the YouTube. I find him entertaining myself. Matt Walsh and others at the Daily Wire? I often find that I don't quite agree with their take on things, but to question is to invite wrath upon oneself. I should be glad I am not a big channel, or their notice might just fall upon me.

It’s day two without power at the house after the Tornado came through town. I’m told there are over 100 thousand people waiting for power to be restored. We were quite lucky. Not far away are several homes that now have large trees through them. I guess that’s one of the hazards of living in the forest. There are also several buildings around town that now have massive billboards sitting on what’s left of them. Hopefully power will be restored soon so we can get back to normal videos.

I survived a tornado outbreak today, something I never imagined I would have to face where I am now living. In the past I have lived in some places where strong tornados are frequent at certain times of year, even having some very close calls with them, but that is not here. I knew there was the possibility for flooding, so when the alerts started coming in on the phone I figured that was all it was, even when the sirens started going off outside. Then I looked at the phone, and to my horror, it said tornado warning. Stupidly I went outside, because the weather was very calm at the moment. I could see the dark clouds in the distance, but it didn't seem threatening. I went back in, and a few minutes later things changed dramatically. With sirens blaring, I watched the thing approach. Then water started blowing through the window to the point where I couldn't see anymore. I knew the house was not designed to survive a direct hit by a tornado of any severity, so all I could to was stand in the hallway and pray it didn't hit directly. I was lucky, there was basically no damage to the house outside of the water that came through the window (which was not open). The neighborhood and surrounding area was not quite as lucky, with more than one house now holding up the weight of large fallen trees. What a day.

It has been revealed that P Diddy is a Fed. By that I mean that his former bodyguard has said in an interview that P Diddy, the diddler, is in fact a confidential informant working for the FBI. This revelation has started the wheels turning in my head, and I begin to wonder how much of what Diddy is in trouble for had FBI involvement. Typically the sort of crimes he is accused of would fall under the jurisdiction of the FBI. Was Sean Combs, P Diddy or the Diddler, trafficking across the US border? I have to wonder if the Department of Homeland Security raid was because rouge elements of another federal agency, the FBI, were involved in criminal activity. Other theories on the internet suggest that the feds moved in to take the evidence of their involvement so that it would not fall into the hands of local law enforcement who had obtained a warrant. It is sad that we have reached the point where the worst would be assumed about the Feds, but maybe there are still enough good guys left.

What's the cost of hot dogs these days? I've heard it's going up, and that means more votes for Trump. That is the elitists who hate the poor say the cost of hot dogs going up means more votes for Trump. In the past I never realized how much the people who see themselves as being at the top of our society absolutely despise the poor and lower classes. When they talk of the cost of hot dogs driving votes for Trump, they say it with hatred. According to them the economy is better than ever. They can even quote you the metrics that say its better. You and I go to the store and see that we don't have enough money to get healthy food. We keep getting pushed further and further down, until we land at something like hot dogs. Eventually even the hot dogs are out of reach. We experience being unable to make rent, or pay utilities. We list off real life experiences, and these elitists tell us we're just too stupid to see how great things are. You aren't alone in this experience, and you aren't the one who's too stupid to see whats really happening.

P Diddy, and a number of other predators in the entertainment industry have been all over the news lately. It's getting to the point that it can't possibly be just a coincidence that so many of these kinds of monsters just happen to be working in Hollywood and other parts of the entertainment industry. P Diddy, and his alleged crimes, have come out at the same time as the recent documentary about crimes committed at Nickelodeon Studios. I am also reminded of Harvey Weinstein, Jimmy Savile and more. Am I wrong? Or is there something very wrong in the entertainment industry?

Trump has some breathing room as his bond necessary for filing appeal has been reduced to $175 million. Trump should now be able to cover the bond, saving Trump Tower and his other properties from being seized by the government in this attempted land grab. I don't know how he does it, but Trump always seems to get through the hardest attempts of crazy judges and corrupt officials to damage him. I can't imagine its been easy, but he has certainly proven, at this point, that he is made of the right stuff to be president.

A suggestion came in the comments saying I should request that you all share your photos. It sounded like a good idea to me, so here's the ask. Send in your best photos to share with the community. They could be from phones, cameras, whatever you've got. Everyone pretty much has a camera in some form these days, and we all have at least one photo we are especially pleased with. So send them in to [email protected] and lets have a look.

Russia leadership says suspects had Ukraine contacts. Whether true or not, this will probably lead to serious escalation in the Ukraine war. As NATO nations make clear their intention to intervene with boots on the ground in order to bolster Ukraine, this seems to have brought us to an inflection point with the conflict. Where will this lead? No matter what, it probably isn't going to be good.

The United States government is targeting Apple with a law suit over its locked in ecosystem. According to them, it is too difficult for users to change to Android, which according to them is unfair. They would like third party smart watches to work better with iPhone, and for the Apple Watch to work on Android devices. I personal think this is ridiculous. People who buy into the apple ecosystem know what they are doing. They also know that purchasing an Apple watch means it will only work with their iPhone. They are buying into the ecosystem on purpose.

What if the grid goes down? Have you ever thought about it? America has so many enemies, many of which are capable of very sophisticated cyber attacks that could bring down the grid of utility services that all of us rely upon, and much more. What would you do if the grid went down? Are you prepared for it? It's one thing to have water and canned food set aside, but what if it goes down for a long time? Where do you get water, and how do you treat it so you can actually drink it? I understand there are tablets and other chemicals that can be used, but what do you do when they run out? I am starting to ask these questions because I don't believe most people would be ready to survive in that situation. We are all too far removed from life before all the modern conveniences to even know where to start. So what will you do if the grid goes down?

Donald Trump is unable to pay the bond necessary to appeal the ruling in his New York fraud trial, and will now have his properties seized. This is communism, plain and simple. Based on precedent set in this case, the city can bring charges on any property owner who has been loaned money by a bank, rule summarily against them, attach an unplayable fine, and then take the properties for the state to do with as they please. The government is set to start taking property away from the "landlord class".

The internet and news are alive with quotes from Donald Trump calling for a bath of some kind, I guess a blood bath. How is it that the entire American public can be manipulated in such a way that everyone is talking about something so ridiculous all at the same time, on all sides, and from all walks of life? Obviously Donald Trump was quoted out of context, I know he was referring to the automotive industry on condition of a democrat victory in November. At this point they could say anything about Donald Trump and I would be skeptical. They could say he dropped a pencil and I would doubt it. I am sure you have all heard of the boy who cried wolf. Well, the media has cried wolf so many times that there probably isn't any redemption for them. I'm honestly not sure who they are talking to at this point, because any sane person feels the same at this point. Do you remember when people cared about things that weren't related to politics? I really miss those days, and am not firmly convinced they won't be back if we don't send the bull to the ivory tower again.

Haiti, the so called tropical paradise, seems to be experiencing serious trouble. Last I heard enormous amounts of tax dollars were being diverted to Haiti in order to rebuild and make things better. I am sure all of you recall the endless donations to help with the recovery from the 2010 earthquake. A lot of that was under the direction of the Clintons, but somehow things are much worse in Haiti now, and possibly people eating gangs are taking control of the country. Things have gotten so bad that US Marines are being sent to bolster security for our diplomatic mission, and to evacuate non essential staff. What happened to the billions of tax dollars and donations that were sent to make things better in Haiti? Why is it worse now?

Can you really go to prison for life over something said on the internet?

Is this the end of the gig economy? New laws are taking effect that change the definition of what counts as a contract worker and an employee, and may force companies like Uber to either hire drivers or stop operations. Hiring would mean dramatically increased costs due to taxes and insurance, likely making it unrealistic to continue. These changes will likely have an impact in other areas, maybe even with Youtube itself. It seems the government in the United States does not want you to have the ability to use your own property to make money, instead forcing everyone to work for approved corporations.

I get the feeling that many people in the United States are Manchurian candidates one and all. Well, not everybody, but the people who take offense to things, almost on command. Recently president Biden has been in the news about his apology for calling illegal immigrants illegal, and for not getting Laken Riley's name correctly (the person murdered by an illegal). Who are the people taking offense to the use of the term "illegal immigrant"? I am certain its not the illegal immigrants, they know they came into the country illegally. So who are these people? There seems to be a large part of the population who have been programmed to take offense on command, like a Manchurian candidate. Next time you come across something on social media that makes you upset, stop and think about why. Who wants me to react this way and why? Don't follow the crowd of bots on X.

Why does nobody talk about this? I have heard the news talk, over and over, about how China is making precursors that are used to make drugs like fentanyl, but almost no talk about the people getting the precursor from China to make the drugs that are being smuggled into the US and killing people. Why does nobody talk about the cartels? The same cartels that are making $13 billion each year from human trafficking and smuggling on our southern border? Or the fact that Biden and friends don't care about anybody, let alone the people coming over the border. So why do they work so hard to keep the border open? I admit, the cartels are scary, is that why nobody talks about it? Are they making money off of it? Why does nobody talk about this?

After a disastrous attempt at S-Log footage in a previous video I'm trying out some of the other Sony Creative Looks that come built into the camera. Is it possible to get a great image right out of the box using my Sony a7IV? It may take forever, but eventually we will figure this thing out.

Today I am starting on the path of my first real film effort. I don't expect much from this venture, and I know it will take quite a bit of time since I am doing it all myself, but I have decided to take the advice from all of you and get started on what I want to do here. Today we are heading out on a very short journey to get a shot needed for the project. Armed with cameras and an ND filter, let's see what we can do here.
