Another instrumental I put together the other day. I really like how the sub bass turned out in this track. I also like how the sample turned out. This is my first time sampling and really liking the results. It doesn't sound choppy or awkward, and all of the transitions are smooth. I've learned quit a bit from making this song.
I used Massive for the bassline, and Absynth for the bells in the hook. As per usual, I used my MPC Renaissance for the production environment. I feel like I'm making some real progress in terms of production quality. This sounds a lot more polished than any of my other instrumentals, and I'm hoping to build off of this experience and continue to improve.

I'm an amateur rapper/hip-hop music producer from Skaneateles, NY. I'm still searching for my own style in terms of rap.
I produce hip-hop instrumentals, as well. I've made a few available here on this site. But, most of them will be on my Bandcamp page (check the link).
I make all of my music available for free, but it's also available on Bandcamp with a "Name Your Price" option. Just put in $0 if you want it for free, or give me any dollar amount you think it's worth.
It's hard to describe my style just because I'm still trying to find it. I'm a big fan of artists like Tech N9ne, Aesop Rock, and all of my fellow Grand Unified members (Greydon Square, Tombstone Da Deadman, Ogma, AdeKwit, Uncle Bungus, Johnny Hoax, etc.) I think I'm influenced by all styles of music. My background is in classical piano. I think I bring a lot of that to my instrumentals, as well as my rapping style.
