A lot of authors think that finally writing and getting their book out there is the hardest part. Trust me, it's not. It's just the first step in a series of obstacles you need to overcome.

I see this all the time on BookTube, AuthorTube and now on BookChute. Getting tired of these people thinking they're great and have no room for improvement and never talk about personal improvement or how they're also learning as they go along. This is not a matter of being humble, it's a matter of recognizing your limits so that you can push past them.

Are author book signing events a good idea? Should you host it yourself? Where should you go to organize these events? How should you organize these events? It seems that every BookTube, Authortube and BookChute channel is obsessed with pushing their books for sales, manipulating their audience or just being overall deceitful for the purpose of self advertising. Real information needs to be free and real help should not include you needing to buy something from someone or being tricked into sales.

Some advice as a Business Major and published author. Seriously, please just calculate and think about how much you're putting into your books and just wake up on what you need to do and what skills you need to work on to help you save money and become a career writer.
