Joshua Aaron Fanti, age 32, of Leroy Twp. passed away suddenly at Tripoint Medical Center, ER in Concord Twp. January 22, 2023. He was born May 21, 1990, in Ravenna, Ohio to Steven and Amy (West) Fanti.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 2008. Upon graduation, Joshua proudly served in the U.S. Marines from 2008 to 2013 achieving the rank of Sergeant. After an Honorable Discharge, Joshua attended Ohio Technical College for diesel mechanics and had worked as a mechanic for Toyota and ODOT. He had an absolute passion for Jeeps and was active with Lake County Off Road. On his numerous off-road trips, he spent time either on the trails driving the course or fixing what he broke. Joshua’s passion for helping others brought him to serve as a fire fighter and EMT for Thompson and Montville fire departments. He found a true calling serving the communities and would drop everything for those who needed help. Joshua was also an active member of Grace Lutheran Church in Thompson, Ohio where he previously served as Deacon and President.

Joshua is survived by his son, Case Fanti; wife, Courtney Fanti; mother, Amy (Glen) Vernick; brothers, Joel (Rachael) Fanti, Jacob Vernick; sister, Jessie (Matthew) DeLisle; grandparents, Art and Doris West, Paul (Andrea) Fanti, and Don and Lyn Vernick.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steven Fanti and grandmother, Nancy Fanti.

Family and friends will be received 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM and 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday January 29, 2023, at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home 667 Mentor Avenue, Paines

LSU's Sa'Myah Smith faints during White House ceremony
LSU freshman Sa'Myah Smith fainted and was helped off a stage during Friday's ceremony with President Joe Biden at the White House to celebrate the Tigers' women's basketball national championship.

Medical personnel were rushed into the East Room after Smith fainted while Biden called for year-round support for women's sports. Smith, who was standing in the risers behind the podium, slunk downward and was helped off the stage as the ceremony was halted for about 10 minutes.

"It's a lot of standing," Biden said. "I apologize. It's OK. It's happened lots of times."

LSU coach Kim Mulkey said Smith was fine as personnel wheeled her out, and Smith later told NOLA.com that she was "way better" after being released from the White House's care.

"I'm great, better -- way better than earlier," said Smith, who made her way back to the team's hotel. "I don't quite remember how everything happened. I just remember waking up pretty scared. The last thing I remember is telling one of my coaches, 'Hey, I think I'm going to pass out.'"

LSU said in a statement that Smith felt overheated, nauseous and thought she might faint. The school also said Smith would undergo further evaluation in Baton Rouge.

Joked Mulkey: "As you can see, we leave our mark where we go."

Biden signed an old-fashioned leather basketball for Smith, writing: "Sa'Myah -- it was wonderful (to) have you at the White House. You are the best. /Joe Biden 5-26-23"

Having LSU to the White House marked a thawing of earlier tensions between the team and the administration. After the championship game, first lady Jill Biden had suggested also inviting runners-up Iowa to the White House in what would've been a break from tradition.

At the time, LSU star forward Angel Reese, who averaged 23 points per game this past season, said she was "hurt" by the plan, but she was on hand Friday to offer a hug to Jill Biden and present her with a commemorative jersey.

"Folks, we witnessed history," President Biden said. "In this team, we saw hope, we saw pride and we saw purpose. It matters."

"This is my beautiful son Wade. He left this world on October 31st at 33 years old. My heart is shattered beyond repair. I cannot function anymore. Unable to leave the house, eat, sleep or breathe. He was found in his apartment after 2 days of trying to contact him. I still don't have a cause of death as the coroner stated pending on his death certificate. There were no suspicious circumstances. How do I come to terms with no answers and no reason.

Strictly Come Dancing professional dancer Amy Dowden has revealed she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Caerphilly-born Dowden, who joined the BBC dance competition show in 2017, shared the news on Instagram, telling fans that she is “determined” to return to the dancefloor as soon as she can.
The 32-year-old wrote: “Hey all, I’ve got some news which isn’t easy to share. I’ve recently been diagnosed with breast cancer but I’m determined to get back on that dancefloor before you know it.” Dowden added a pink heart, signing off with “Welsh love Amy” with a kiss.
She said she found a lump in her breast in April, the day before going to the Maldives on her delayed honeymoon with fellow professional dancer Ben Jones, and hopes to raise awareness of the disease.
Dowden said that since realising the lump had grown after her holiday, she went to the GP before being sent for an emergency referral.
She told Hello! magazine: “Everything happened so fast within that day. I went on my own and didn’t tell anybody, but when I was there, the nurse said to me, ‘You need to have somebody here,’ and that’s when Ben found out.
“They told me it was looking very suspicious and to prepare for the worst, hope for the best. They did the biopsy and then we had a wait.”
Last week, Dowden was told she had grade 3 breast cancer.
She said: “My doctor explained to me that there are three grades, and 3 is the most aggressive, but they feel like they’ve caught mine early and to not be too alarmed because grade 3 would be expected in somebody of my age.”

Rashid was a fearless and tireless advocate of health freedom and speaking truth to power, and he had an immense impact on helping the world understand the power of their bodies to heal, from literally anything.

Due to rumors circulating and the many questions I have received as to the cause of his passing, I wish to share the last publicly recorded discussion we had, where Rashid wanted the world to know the details surrounding the sudden decline of his health.

For the record, Rashid reached out to me on Feb. 18th, and explained that only a few weeks before, he was in the ICU for 6 days, with a diagnosis of both stroke and myocarditis, with symptoms and biomarkers consistent with adverse effects from the mRNA jabs (which he did not have). As you will see in the video, he believed that he was experiencing the result of shedding (aka, "self-amplifying" properties) from the transgenic mRNA jabs.

Dawn Buchanan is organizing this fundraiser on behalf of Joanne Hourigan.
It is with a heavy heart I am setting up this fundraiser for a beautiful young lady Rhea Hourigan who was tragically taken from this world on Saturday 29th April leaving her doting parents Jo and Dom, brother Joel and grandparents, aunts, uncles and friends totally and utterly devastated. Rhea was in her 1st year at Durham University and was thriving, she had returned to her hometown in Birmingham for the Easter holidays and planned before going back to Uni to visit her Aunty who lived in Paris for a few days, she had been so looking forward to the trip. After arriving in Paris they hired electric bikes and had the most wonderful day exploring and taking in all the sights of the City. Then tragedy struck later that evening when she took a shower and collapsed. Her Aunty called the paramedics but she just couldn’t be saved and passed away at 00.45am on 29th May, she died of a cardiac arrest at just 19 years old. The cause of cardiac arrest is unknown.

Her mom Jo wrote on Facebook "She had so many plans, dreams and aspirations she was our bright shining star. she hadn’t even finished her first year of uni which she absolutely loved up in Durham and had made so many good friends. Our only comfort is that she was so happy and had had such a brilliant day seeing the sights of Paris, she wouldn’t have known what had happened and didn’t suffer."

The family are back now from Paris but Rhea is still there as there will be an autopsy next week then hopefully she will be able to come home a few days after that. Their friends and family wanted to reach out and help as much as they can to ease the financial burden a little with any costs they will be incurring during this devasting time and the coming weeks and months.

I totally understand times are tough for everyone at the moment but anything at all you may be able to spare to help this very special family in their time of need would be so much appreciated.

I want to update you on where we are with bringing Rhea home to the UK. Her dad Dom flew to Paris last night, firstly to see Rhea as we have not been able to see her until the autopsy was complete, then to collect the autopsy report from the French court and get this translated, as they will only give this to immediate family, (we do hope this will give us some answers). Unfortunately the French don’t publish a cause of death on the death certificate, so we need the coroners report in English to satisfy the UK coroner or there will be another autopsy done here in the UK.

Rhea should arrive in the UK Thursday and hopefully arrive in Solihull Friday. We think it will be the middle of next week before we know if we can begin to plan the funeral.

"Jehane Thomas was a 30 year old, mum of two boys when she suddenly passed away on 17/03/2023. Despite suffering from migraines and bouts of illness for several months, her passing was totally unexpected and we are all absolutely heartbroken.
Her two children, Isaac (3, almost 4), and Elijah (1), have been left without their mum. I’ve started this page in the hope of raising some money so her beautiful boys can have the best childhood, make memories and make sure they are comfortable.
