Where does your "self" live? What is this thing we call 'the self'?
In this video Antonio Sebastian asks us to define exactly where our idea of the self exists.
In this, the fourth video lesson in the Narrow Gate Series, Antonio explains that no one can enter through the Narrow Gate while still holding on to the idea of the self:
"For it is easier for a camel to entering through the eye of a needle than for a man(who is full) to be entering into the Kingdom of God" Luke 18:25
One must first lose the self in order to truly find it!
Technical note: Plousios - Not 'Rich' but from Pletho (filled, or full) - Someone who is full of their 'self'. The metaphor of the camel suggests that our ideas of our self are like the food that a camel stores in its hump. The Hebrew metaphor was taken by the Greco-Roman criminals, who created the Christ cult, and was shoe horned into their pagan narrative out of context.
Please note that in Hebrew culture, and in reality, there is no grace in poverty. It is brutish and ugly. The Christian emphasis on physical poverty entirely misses the point of the Hebrew spiritual concept of spiritual 'radical poverty' as we will discuss in later videos.

It would be easy to laugh at President Trump's Spiritual Advisor, Paula White, but it would be a mistake to dismiss her as insane. The truth is that Paula White represents two thousand years of Christian scriptural tradition.
It is that tradition that unites Christians in their belief that the closer to God you are the more insane your behaviour becomes. This is where we get the word 'touched' as a euphemism for someone who is obviously insane. It comes from the phrase 'touched by God'.
The Jesus of History, on the other hand, taught that the proximity of God brings clarity and light. For him the proximity of God came slowly and in silence.
