This rainy morning, one of the Forest pigeons came by to snack on the wild berries 🐦 These berries are the only reason they come here.
The kitties always get especially excited to see them. Since it was raining and cold, the catio door remained closed. (I don't want to risk injuries when they jump down from the railing onto the slippery tiles.) You can see the disappointed little faces, as they waited to go out like every morning when it's dry outside. They were especially spoiled by the beautiful warm weather we had for about 10 days. So of course they weren't happy.
I included the little sparrow I filmed on Monday, as it was trying to see if the piece of plastic can be used for their nest. Thankfully it didn't take it and I went outside and got rid of it right afterwards.

It's another hot sunny day! 84°F (29°C)⛱️☀️ While the rest of the bunch was outside, Leo and Little Sonic started batting their favorite mousie back and forth under the balcony door🐈🐈‍⬛
This was filmed before midday. Later in the afternoon, everyone came inside, because the heat got too much on the catio, despite the shade. But a bit later, they all get to go outside again and spend the evening outside.

Amazingly we had 84°F (29°C) today. It was ameowzing. The birds were really busy, and Hero and Little Sonic were watching them closely. The kitties enjoyed just lying around in the warmth of the day ☀️

The kitties preferred the shade, as always when it gets to a certain temperature. They do hang out in the sun, but at some point they just get too hot.

I'll upload another sunny video tomorrow!

Ps: I apologize for the shakiness at times. I need to get used to filming with the camera again.

What an amazingly beautiful Caturday it we had yesterday! After it's been mostly cold, we suddenly had 24°C / 75°F in the afternoon! It was a bit windy, as you can see. I got the table out and the chairs, as the cats like them, and I can hang out with them. The kitties were so happy about the nice day! We spent a bunch of hours outside.

Birthday video for Leo, Lily and Little Sonic, who turned 2 years on March 16, 2024

Leo, Lily and Little Sonic were only a few days old in these clips. In one clip Leo is starting to open his eyes for the first time, which is probably about two weeks after birth. I received these little videos from the foster home back then. So glad I have them! I had to use this format, since the baby clips were filmed in portrait mode.

Little Sonic was actually very weak for the first couple of hours after he was born. But thankfully he recovered after he was helped to Mum's milk. Her care and milk made him recover and be ok. He was the smallest of the 3 siblings and still is the smallest of them now. But he's full of endless energy and playful to no end. All 3 are so affectionate, and love their older adoptive siblings Hero and Lisa, who accepted them and loved them right from the start. I love them all so much!

Leo is inspecting the window damage like the Purrfessional he is😽 The damage is from a window shutter that fell down from the 3rd floor, smashing right into our window with a huge bang. A piece of that shutter is still stuck in the window frame. We're just waiting for the new pane of glass to arrive and be installed.

Our nightly fresh air routine before bed. There's always something interesting for the cats and they love the fresh air. It's really fresh air, because a big park is right around the corner, as well as a river with a lot of wildlife and nature. I saw how Hero wanted to sit on these small railing seats, but felt like he can't make the jump, despite the chair I put there. It's probably because it's a bit of an awkward angle to jump. So today, I lifted him up there. He was so happy about it and enjoyed looking around from the new vantage point😸

Then he started walking along the railing, balancing amazingly on his 3 legs. I stopped recording so I could catch him if necessary ☺️Wasn't needed! He was stunning and walked all the way to the corner 😽💕 Like I always say, as long as he can get to it, nothing will stop him from.
