Amidst a bevy of coronavirus relief proposals, Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) announced new legislation Saturday morning that would provide every person in America, regardless of citizenship state or age, with a pre-loaded debit card.
Tlaib’s plan calls for giving a debit card with $2,000 to every person in the country, including children, illegal immigrants, and “temporary visitors whose stay exceeds three months.”
The debit card would fill up with an extra $1,000 for every month of the crisis until one year after the pandemic is over, and anyone with a card could withdraw the full balance from an ATM.

Brigham Young University (BYU) dropped a section of their code of conduct concerning LGBTQ realtionships within the student body. This section banned “all forms of physical intimacy that give expression to homosexual feelings.”
Many on campus who identify as LGBTQ were celebrating the occasion. Yet, as probably should have been expected, the dropping of this section was not meant to allow same sex relationships on campus.
