General first things that need done:
Make sure kids get fed - especially the gruth-buí ; Clean mammy's tail end: this helps avoid the infection they get after kidding; Keep an eye on udders so they don't get out of balance or over-filled - this causes all sorts of problems.
From about day three on, you need to milk twice a day to almost empty: the kids will get enough and you'll soon be racing them to get even enough for yourself.
Single kids are better for milk, but worse for if you need to be away, since even one day will leave them with a swollen side.
The reward is being in the land of milk and honey: where we should all have been allowed to stay and where we should all fight to get back again. My fight for myself is won and I now continue the struggle for full equality for all mankind - nothing to do with same-sex marriage, which the oppressors sold us as equality.
