His death, however tragic and untimely, has also been alleged to have been a further plot to silence his powerful voice.

On this episode we talk about an event that arguably changed America forever; destroyed the perceptions of law enforcement for anyone that witnessed this event on mainstream media; and irredeemably erased at least some of the faith that Americans held dearly when it came to constitutionally held aspects of the US culture like freedom and security; this time we are talking about David Koresh and The Waco Massacre.

In 1993 in Waco Texas the ATF and FBI initiated a sting on a Branch Davidian compound which resulted in a fire fight and a 51 day siege which ultimately led to the deaths of the 79 members of the so-called cult and their leader David Koresh. Investigations into the ethics and execution of these government agency order went on all through the 90s at a congressional level, but these agencies never saw justice.

Koresh and his followers were killed by the US Government; this was on suspicion of child abuse, drug production and illegal arms sale and stockpiling. Many think that these charges were trumped up and that a community like this couldn't be allowed to exist in the United States.

TRUE CRIME - On this episode we talk about the catalyst for disarming the Australian population and an event that was so destructive to society at the time; it is used as the yard stick to measure the severity of all mass shootings until just very recently; this time we are talking about Martin Bryant and The Port Arthur Massacre.

Port Arthur was a mass shooting perpetrated by one Martin Bryant in April 1996 where 25 people were wounded and 35 people killed at the hands of Bryant and a variety of firearms and other methods. Bryant was a local oddball and a very wealthy man but was of 'diminished capacity' according to locals.

A chequered upbringing and early life, mixed with some convenient accidents and suspicious deaths of wealthy close friends of Bryant's; paints a picture of a ruthless man who would kill to get what he wanted. But the truth is far from this simple and clean cut.

Accusations abound of US and Israeli military personnel carrying out the shooting and the whole operation being a false flag in order to trigger the national disdain for guns and their supported abolition in Australia from the mid 90s onward. Some other very interesting twists and turns in this case make these accusations and conspiracy rumours actually seem plausible.

This film aired in December 1957 and showed an animated version of the possibility of life on other planets, particularly Mars. We talked about this film in our Life on Mars episode and it shows a quick history of astronomy; some fanciful extraterrestrial creatures; what it would be like to travel to Mars and some scary assumptions and predictions about future space travel. Its an enjoyable romp through Martian media from the last century but, as we realised during the podcast, its dark and spooky and not really a kids cartoon!

This 2001 documentary from Bart Sibrel shows some pretty convincing footage of the 'hoax' that was the Apollo 11 moon landings! Unreleased video evidence that the journey and landing were faked and loads of other little head scratchers that are a must for a NASA denier.

This episode of 'Modern Marvels' all about the World Trade Centre Towers have some really interesting details about their construction that have been conveniently forgotten in the aftermath of 9/11. This show was filmed and aired just before 9/11 and you can see some of the shenanigans for yourself!

Surviving 9/11 must be something that you could never get over! This is the story of Tania Head who told her story to filmmaker Angelo J. Guglielmo about how she escaped the collapsing tower and how her fiancé died in the terrible tragedy. She created a 9/11 survivors network and made huge strides in helping people get over their grief. The thing about Tania is; she was never in the tower on 9/11 and the whole thing was made up!

An amazing film of suspense and mystery (with a sliver of tragic comedy) A super detailed account of 9/11 comes from Tania, with a backstory and loads of detail about the people she knew and what happened to her, her former job and her duties and even make up a load of details about the wedding in Hawaii to a non-existant husband that died as the towers fell! Its absolutely mental that something like this would be fabricated and this is a must watch film!

On the morning of 9/11 two French filmmakers, Jules and Gedeon Naudet were making a documentary of the journey of rookie firefighter Tony Benetatos into the ranks of the FDNY. With filmmakers James Hanlon they were shadowing the Engine 7/Ladder 1/Battalion 1 Firehouse on Duane Street, New York.

They could never have known that they would get the most iconic footage of what happened on 9/11 from ground zero and the only footage of what happened inside the towers before they fell. Jules was also one of only 3 people to film the first plane to hit the North Tower.

Later in the film the brothers follow the firemen as they save dozens of people after the towers fell, and then when they get back to their fire houses and try to process what happened!

This film was first aired on March 10th 2002 on CBS.

ABC Reporter NJ Burkett interviews eye witnesses on the ground in New York on the morning of 9/11. All this happens before the towers fell and when they did, he went back in to interview survivors! Amazing work from him and his cameraman Marty Glembotzky. Some really sad and brutally honest interviews here! Nothing included in most 9/11 docs!

This is a fairly detail heavy presentation from former LAPD narcotics investigator called Mike Ruppert about the inconsistencies with the 9/11 story and the link sit has with secret forces working behind the scenes. Mike was forced out of the LAPD because he drew attention to the CIA involvement in shipping drugs into the US as part of the War on Drugs. This video is the recording of a presentation he gave at Portland State University explaining his theories and was attended by over 1,000 people.
