This is a character animation test. For me, animating spaceships and scenes is easy. Character animation is difficult! Timing and movement working together is not easy. I am hoping to use motion capture in the future.

These are a series of MOCAP file I've had for a while. Using Auto-Rig Pro i was able to retarget the files to the Blender Rigify rig. The female files work well but the male files were off and I couldn't get the retarget to work.

The Daedalus, Hammond and Odyssey travel trough hyperspace and exit above a planet with three moons.

Here's a short video of the hammerhead vessel landing. The thrusters and landing struts finally rigged the way I wanted them. The landing struts use the IK rigging so contact with the ground is better controlled and the ship can bounce and shift during landing.

NEW & IMPROVED! A comment on the previous video said that the lights on the dialing sequence should reverse for each chevron. I went back to SG-1 and Atlantis, the sequence does reverse on each so I fixed it.

This video also includes the gate size change dialing sequence.

This is Paladin, the protagonist, from a story I'm working on called "The Last Paladin". It takes place in multiple galaxies, has ancient races with god like powers and hopefully a fun fast paced engaging plot.

My model of the Daedalus is still being finished but here is a preview of it in hyper-space.

This is the Hammerhead. Not sure that's the finale name for it. The outside is mostly finalized, I might modify a couple more thing and the outside color will be white, not grey.

This is a new ship from the Ancients. It's an idea I had to add to my story line. Depending on the cargo container configuration, it could carry almost 600 troops or tons of food and supplies or a mobile command structure.

Here is my completed model of the Daedalus bridge. The exterior of the ship is still in the works.
