Lincoln is just North of YellowStone National Park in the Intermountain West Region, outside Helena.
This is the largest earthquake to hit this region in years, although over 878 earthquakes have been reported the past two weeks. Seismic activity is increasing. This is right on the West border of the North American Craton Plate. The past several days there has been some significant earthquakes in Alaska. Also, a M7.1 Earthquake happened in Nunavut, Canada, that the agencies did not report.
Some people felt tremors as far away as Spokane (Washington) and Idaho. There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries, but was strong enough to knock items off shelves and walls. Reports say it was felt for about 20 seconds of waves from the tremors, several waves, and "rumbling noises.

West Bank Story is a comedy/musical short film parody of the classic musical film West Side Story (an adaptation of Romeo and Juliet). David, an Israeli soldier, and Fatima, a Palestinian fast food cashier - an unlikely couple who fall in love amidst the animosity of their families' dueling falafel (food) stands in the West Bank.
Tensions mount when the Kosher King's new pastry machine juts onto Hummus Hut property. The Palestinians ruin the machine and the Israelis respond by building a wall between the two eating establishments.
The couple professes their love for each other, triggering a chain of events that ultimately portray how one side who wants to feed people and the other side who want to serve people, can accomplish both... together... seeds of hope and change planted!
Filmed on a Santa Clarita, California ranch, this short premiered at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival, and was screened at numerous additional film festivals across the world, garnering several awards. In 2007, at the 79th Academy Awards, it won the Oscar in the category Best Live Action Short Film.
Directed by Ari Sandel, co-written by Sandel and Kim Ray, produced by Pascal Vaguelsy, Amy Kim, Ashley Jordan, Ravi Malhotra, Bill Boland, and featuring choreography by Ramon Del Barrio. The film stars Ben Newmark as the IDF soldier, Noureen DeWulf as the Palestinian cashier, A.J. Tannen as the Israeli restaurant owner, and Joey Naber as his Palestinian rival.
