How Your Manners Should Be In Ramadan And In All Days Of The Year. The issue of good manners is very important In Islam, since it is the basis of one's success in the Islamic community. For instance, a husband cannot lead a happy marital life, nor can a brother succeed in dealing with his brothers, unless they both possess sound moral character. The success of the scholars and the Da'iyah (caller to the way of Allah The Almighty) also depends on how well-mannered they are. Thus, it is by noble manners that every success can be achieved in this life. The issue of morality is so important that some scholars say that religion consists simply of good morals.

However, nowadays we suffer from the lack of noble manners in our daily interactions, between husband and wife, teacher and student, employee and manager, between neighbors -- in fact, even during prayers in the Masjid, and between the seekers of knowledge and scholars. This is why we should discuss this important topic.

The topic of good manners is more important than some people might think. In some cases, manners are related to jurisprudence and some rules in the Sharee'ah (Islamic law). If we talk about justice, for example, we shall mention some rules concerning justice between (one’s) children and justice between (one’s) wives, and so on.

What is meant by manners?

Linguistically, scholars say that he word ‘Khalq’ which means creation, and ‘Khuluq’ which means manners are inter-related. The first word refers to the physical appearance of a person that can be seen, while the second stands for the deep inner self that can be realized by insight, and both have good and bad characteristics. Al-Imaam Al-Qurtubi may Allaah have mercy upon him defined manners by saying, "It is a person's way of dealing with others, and it is either to be praised or dispraised. Praised manners are generally achieved by being [good] with others [even] against yourself, and following justice even it is against yourself. In..

FOLLOW THE SAHABAH! COMPANIONS OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD [SAWS) The saying referred to is the words of ‘Abdullah ibn Mas‘ood (may Allah be pleased with him): “Whoever wants to follow a path, let him follow the path of one who has died, for the living are not safe from fitnah. I mean the Companions of Muhammad (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). They were the best of this ummah: the purest in heart, the deepest in knowledge and the most straightforward. Allah chose them to accompany His Prophet and establish His religion, so recognise their status and follow in their footsteps and adhere as much as you can to their example of conduct and attitude, for they followed true guidance.”

This report was narrated by Ibn ‘Abd al-Barr in Jaami‘ Bayaan al-‘Ilm wa Fadluhu, 2/947, no. 1810. There is some weakness in its isnaad, but it is a well-known report that appears in many of the books of Ahl as-Sunnah, and its meaning is sound and approved of by them.

What is meant by it is that whoever wants to follow a path to his Lord, he should not come up with a path by himself or imitate with regard to matters of religion one among the living who is like him, because he is still alive and he does not know what kind of end Allah will cause him to have. Thus he may find himself following a man in his religious affairs who, even though today he may he following guidance and the Sunnah, may end up following something other than that. The only one who is safe in that regard is one who follows, on his path to his Lord, the way of the righteous early generations of this ummah: the Companions of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon them), those who have died and there is no longer any fear that they may fall into fitnah.

Imam Nasr ibn Ibraaheem al-Maqdisi (may Allah have mercy on him) said, after narrating this report from Ibn Mas‘ood and Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them):

This is what Ibn Mas‘ood and ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) said...

How Should Your House Be In Ramadan.Part 3. One of the favors that Allah could bestow upon a Muslim is to prolong his life until he reaches the month of Ramadan and then enables him to fast it and pray the optional night prayers during it. Rewards for good deeds in this month are multiplied; ranks are elevated; and Allah frees many people from the Hellfire.

Therefore, a Muslim should utilize this month and take advantage of it, and should rush to perform as many good deeds as he can. A Muslims must also fulfill his responsibility towards his children, by properly cultivating them and instructing them and guiding them to the path of righteousness and training them to perform acts of virtue, because the child will grow up according to the manner he was trained.

During these blessed days, the father and the mother must play a pivotal role to help their children utilize this month better, and so we advise them with the following with regards to their children:

Follow up with them and make sure they fast and encourage those amongst them who might fall behind or become lazy.

Remind them with the essence of fasting and that it is simply refraining from food and drinks, and that it is actually a means to attain piety and forgive ones’ sins. Remind them with the narration of Abu Hurayrah, may Allah be pleased with him, who reported: “Whilst the Prophet sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) was delivering a speech on the pulpit once he said: “Aameen, Aameen, Aameen” He sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) was asked: “O Messenger of Allah! Why were you saying this?” He sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allah exalt his mention ) replied: “Jibreel came to me and said: `May Allah humble the one who goes through Ramadan whilst not being forgiven` so I said; Aameen. The he said: `May Allah humble the one whose parents (one or both) reach an old age and they were not a cause for him to enter Paradise (i.e. du..

Do Not Fear! Sustenance Is From Allah. Understanding that Rizq (Provision) is from Allah As a rule of thumb, we naturally tend to worry about things that are in our possession. The two most prized possessions we tend to worry about (and we assume are ours) are our lives and wealth.

But Allah reminds us in this Ayah that these things are not ours, for He has purchased it from us.

“Verily, Allah has purchased of the believers their lives and their properties for (the price) that theirs shall be the Paradise…. “ [TMQ Surah At-Tawbah: 111]

There seems to be a general lack of understanding at times about the concept of rizq, such that Muslims often confuse the circumstances by which we attain our rizq with the actual cause of rizq.

Some people have assured ourselves thatRizq, present and future, will come primarily from one’s own efforts. The more we struggle and strive, the more we will apparently accomplish and achieve.

Sure, our belief system dictates that everything comes from Allah (ﷻ) – but do our attitudes expose the contrary? This has led us then to prioritise our work, family or other commitments above the commitments to Allah’s work based on a sound understanding of notions such as Rizq.

Living in a capitalistic framework also encourages us to adopt a materialistic view towards the world: one in which effort is commensurately compensated in income and wealth. The concept of meritocracy is avidly pushed, suggesting that effort equates to reward. Thus it is that people often feel they are solely responsible for creating their own wealth and opportunities.

A correct understanding of rizq built on the Islamic sources would lead one to a very different conclusion. It would lead one to realise that while seeking out rizq is important, it should not be of such importance that it involves spending the greatest time, energy and focus on to the exclusion of other obligations and duties. It is a priority but it is one in a long list of priorities. And, more to th..

How To Make The Most Of Ramadan Part 2.Alhamdulillah another month of Ramadhan has come upon us. As we know, this is a month in which the mercy of Allah descending upon the earth is unlimited. It is this mercy that gives us the strength to abstain from food and drink for most of the day and then to stand for prayer late into the night. In fact, all of the virtues promised to us regarding Ramadhan make it clear that Allah wants us to take maximum benefit from this month and use it to make a change in our lives for the better. However, we find that year after year the month passes us by, and we are left to rue the fact that we did not do as much as we should have. Many of us continue our lives after Ramadhan as they were before with little or no change. My aim is to mention a few points which will allow us to utilise our time as best as we can inshaAllah and reap the rewards of this sacred month.

1. Preparation
“There is no intelligence like planning” (Bayhaqi)

Prepare for the month of Ramadhan in advance. Ensure that you are ready physically and mentally for this month. Those with medical conditions, ensure you seek both religious and medical advice related to fasting.

2. Consistency
“The most beloved actions in the sight of Allah are those done regularly though they may be small” (Muslim)

Make a timetable. For those working, differentiate between working days and holidays. There are enough hours in the day to work, have enough rest and read your allocated portion of the Quran. Be moderate in your planning and make a timetable that you can stick to.

3. The Month of the Quran
“The month of Ramadhan in which the Quran was revealed” (Quran 2:185)

This month is about the Quran. Those that cannot recite the Quran fluently, ensure you learn this month. Remember it is your duty to learn to recite correctly, so find someone who can teach you. Those that can recite correctly, plan to complete the Quran at least once. Follow the guide which shows how much to recite, an..

THE REALITY OF THE UNITED STATES. Fifteen years ago this month, the United States spearheaded an extremely bloody war on Iraq as part of its ongoing effort to ensure its colonial greed.

Comment:

15 years have passed since the brutal invasion of Iraq by the America led coalition. Back then the horrific images of innocent men, women and children, being butchered and humiliated were seen instantly on our screens home, all across the world due to embedded journalism and the rise of internet. For the first time we could witness almost directly the onslaught that took place. This caused the Muslims to move even more; we as a Ummah cried, prayed for them, collected charities and after millions of innocent people died and the fighting was settled we said, this no more.

The same we did and said when the Bosnian Muslims were butchered in the middle of Europe, and when our Kashmiri Muslims were attacked by mushrik India, and when our Caucasian Muslims were attacked by the brutal Russian regime.

We as an Ummah cried, prayed for them, collected charities and after thousands of innocent people died and the fighting was settled we said, this no more.

Also, we have, till this day on, an ongoing onslaught against our Ummah, in Palestine Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, CAR, Mali, Yemen, Myanmar and other places were the Muslims are oppressed and prosecuted.

We as an Ummah cry, pray for them, collected charities and wait for thousands of innocent people to die and give up their fight, and afterwards we will say, this no more.

It seems that this great Ummah is trapped in a cycle of defeatism and can’t produce a tangible solution that protects the honour and the sacred blood of this noble Ummah.

That’s why we should take the occasion of the 15th anniversary of the Iraq invasion and any other occasion of oppression against Muslims as a mirror to reflect upon and evaluate our work, our goals and solutions.

We should definitely remember the oppression against our Muslim brothers and ..

MIRACLES OF QURAN .DEVELOPMENT OF THE EMBRYO.
In the Holy Quran, God speaks about the stages of man's embryonic development, 1,400 years before modern day scientists 'discovered' important information on creation of man and his development:

We created man from an extract of clay. Then We made him as a drop in a place of settlement, firmly fixed. Then We made the drop into an alaqah (leech, suspended thing, and blood clot), then We made the alaqah into a mudghah (chewed-like substance)... [Noble Quran 23:12-14]

Literally the Arabic word alaqah has 3 meanings:
leech
suspended thing
blood clot

1. "In comparing a leech to the embryo at the alaqah stage, we find similarity between the two." [The Developing Human p.8].
"Also, the embryo as this stage obtains nourishment from the blood of the mother, similar to the leech which feeds on the blood of others." [Human Development as Described in Quran and Sunnah p.36].

2. The second meaning of the word alaqah is 'suspended thing'. The suspension of the embryo, during the alaqah stage, in the womb of the mother very appropriately fits this description.

3. The third meaning of the word alaqah is 'blood clot'. We find that the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs during the alaqah stage is similar to that of a blood clot. This is due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo during this stage. Also during this stage the blood in the embryo does not circulate until the end of the third week. So the embryo at this stage is like a clot of blood.

By examining a diagram of the primitive cardiovascular system in an embryo during the alaqah stage we would notice the external appearance of the embryo and its sacs is similar to that of a blood clot due to the presence of relatively large amounts of blood present in the embryo [The Developing Human, p. 65]

So the three meanings of the word alaqah correspond accurately to the descriptions of the embryo at the alaqah stage.

The next stag..

Beautiful Quran Recitation | Muhammad Al-Luhaidan | Surat Al-‘Imran [ Verses 169-175 ] (169. Think not of those as dead who are killed in the way of Allah. Nay, they are alive, with their Lord, and they have provision.) (170. They rejoice in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His bounty and rejoice for the sake of those who have not yet joined them, but are left behind (not yet martyred) that on them no fear shall come, nor shall they grieve.) (171. They rejoice in a grace and a bounty from Allah, and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.) (172. Those who answered (the Call of) Allah and the Messenger after being wounded; for those of them who did good deeds and feared Allah, there is a great reward.) (173. Those to whom the people said, "Verily, the people have gathered against you, therefore, fear them.'' But it (only) increased them in faith, and they said: "Allah is Sufficient for us, and He is the Best Disposer of affairs.'') (174. So they returned with grace and bounty from Allah. No harm touched them; and they followed the pleasure of Allah. And Allah is the Owner of great bounty.) (175. It is only Shaytan that suggests to you the fear of his friends; so fear them not, but fear Me, if you are indeed believers.)

In a hadith that Imam Ahmad b. Hanbal and many other scholars reported from Ibn Abbas, the Messenger of Allah stated the following:

"When your brothers were smitten at the battle of Uhud, Allah put their spirits in the crops of green birds; they went down to the rivers of Paradise, ate its fruit and nestled in lamps of gold in the shade of the Throne. Then when they experienced the sweetness of their food, drink and rest, they asked: 'Who will tell our brothers about us that we are alive in Paradise provided with provision, in order that they might not be disinterested in jihad and recoil in war?'

Allah Most High said: 'I shall tell them about you' So Allah sent down these verses."(Muslim, Imama 121; Abu Dawud, Jihad 25; Tirmid..

Ramadan Mubarak To All Of You | Words Of Advice. I wonder whether the fasting person continued after Ramadaan to be as he was during Ramadaan, or is he “like her who undoes the thread which she has spun, after it has become strong” [cf. al-Nahl 16:92]? I wonder whether the one who during Ramadaan was fasting, reciting and reading Qur’aan, giving and spending in charity, praying at night, making du’aa’, will he be like that after Ramadaan, or will he follow another path, I mean the path of the Shaytaan, so that he commits sin and does things that anger the Most Gracious, Most Merciful?

If a Muslim continues to have the patience to do righteous deeds after Ramadaan, this is a sign that his (fasting) has been accepted by his Lord, the Most Generous, the Bestower of blessings. If he fails to do righteous deeds after Ramadaan, and follows the ways of the Shaytaan, this is a sign of humiliation, meanness, lowly status and being deprived of the help of Allaah, as al-Hasan al-Basri said: “They were no longer of any significance to Allaah, so they committed sin. If they had mattered to Him, He would have protected them.” When a person becomes insignificant to Allaah, Allaah will no longer honour him. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

“And whomsoever Allaah disgraces, none can honour him” [al-Hajj 22:18]

What is amazing is that during Ramadaan, you see some people who fast and pray at night, who spend in charity and worship the Lord of the Worlds, then no sooner has the month come to an end, but their nature changes completely, and they begin to have a bad attitude towards their Lord. So you see them neglecting prayer and avoiding righteous deeds, committing sins and disobeying Allaah in many different ways, keeping away from obedience towards Allaah, the Sovereign, the Holy, the One Free from all defects.

How terrible it is, by Allaah, when people only acknowledge Allaah in Ramadaan.

The Muslim should make Ramadaan an opportunity to turn over a new le..

HOW DO WE RECEIVE RAMADAN? People have various ideas and ways of receiving the blessed month of Ramadan and invest this occasion in fulfilling their favorite actions and activities. Some of them make this an occasion for laziness, idleness, sleep and neglecting the different acts of obedience that they could otherwise be doing. Others find this a good opportunity for watching shows on satellite television while others stay up late at night and use this precious time to pay visits, go to markets, relax, make trips and the like while others make it an occasion for exaggeration in eating, drinking and doing whatever they like, as if Ramadan is the month of food and drink, and not the month of fasting.

However, there are some other people for whom Allah The Almighty wants good for and thus guides them to the right way so that they became able to differentiate between what is right and what is wrong. Such people receive this blessed month warmly and happily since they believe that it is a golden opportunity to attain forgiveness for sins and make a new start that would be sin-free. In fact, the blessed month of Ramadan is the month of forgiveness, mercy and emancipation from Hell. The Prophet, sallallaahu `alayhi wa sallam ( may Allaah exalt his mention ), used to give his Companions glad tidings on the arrival of Ramadan saying: “There has come to you Ramadan, a blessed month which Allah has enjoined you to fast, during which the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed, and the rebellious devils are chained up. In it there is a night which is better than a thousand months - whoever is deprived of its goodness is indeed deprived.” [An-Nasaa’i, Al-Albaani: Saheeh (Authentic)]

Consequently, these people knew well the virtues, rewards and goodness of this blessed month and thus they decide to reap all these fruits and benefits so that they may not be among those who will say [what Allah The Almighty Says (which means)]: {I wish I had sent ahe..

Surat Al-Qiyamah The Resurrection (Chapter - 75) Of The Quran. The Surah has been so named after the word al- Qiyamah in the first verse. This is not only the name but also the title of this Surah, for it is devoted to Resurrection itself.

Period of Revelation

Although there is no tradition to indicate its period of revelation, yet there is in the subject matter of this Surah an internal evidence, which shows that it is one of the earliest Surahs to be sent down at Makkah. After verse 15 the discourse is suddenly interrupted and the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) told: "Do not move your tongue to remember this Revelation hastily. It is Our responsibility to have it remembered and read. Therefore, when We are reciting it, listen to its recital carefully. Again, it is Our responsibility to explain its meaning." Then, from verse 2O onward the same theme which was interrupted at verse 15, is resumed. This parenthetical passage, according to both the context and the traditions, has been interposed here for the reason that when the Angel Gabriel was reciting this Surah to the Holy Prophet, the Holy Prophet, lest he should forget its words later, was repeating them at the same moment. This in fact happened at the time when the coming down and receipt of Revelation was yet a new experience for him and he was not yet fully used to receiving it calmly. There are two other instances also of this in the Qur'an. First, in Surah Ta Ha the Holy Prophet (upon whom be peace) has been told: "And see that you do not hasten to recite the Qur'an before its revelation is completed to you." (v. 114). Then, in Surah Al-A'la, it has been said: "We shall enable you to recite:, then you shall never forget. (v. 6). Later, when the Holy Prophet became fully used to receiving the Revelation well, there remained no need to give him any such instruction. That is why except for these, three, there is no other instance of this in the Qur'an.

O PEOPLE OF QURAYSH UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB [RA] HAS BECOME A MUSLIM. Six years passed after the sun of prophethood started to illuminate the universe. The struggle between shirk (polytheism) and tawhid (oneness) was increasing day by day. The more the number of the believers increased, the more the oppression and cruelty of the polytheists increased. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) was looking for solutions to prevent the Muslims from cruelty and torture. Therefore, he allowed a group of Muslims to migrate to Abyssinia.

It was during the days when the polytheists convened in order to kill the Messenger of Allah. The Muslims worshipped Allah secretly. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) prayed Allah and asked Him to make one of the two notable Umars a Muslim. He prayed as follows:

“O Allah! Strengthen Islam with Umar bin Hisham (Abu Jahil) or Umar bin Khattab!“ [1]

RASULULLAH [SAWS] PREDICTED WHY MUSLIMS WILL BE HUMILIATED.On the twenty-eighth of Rajab 1342 AH, corresponding to the third of March 1924 CE, the British-led colonial Kuffar and with the connivance of the Arabs and Turks traitors managed to destroy the Khilafah state. The Kaffir traitor and foster child of Kufr, Mustafa Kamal, announced while the Muslim Ummah was unaware the abolition of the system of Khilafah permanently; and the Muslims have suffered as a result countless calamities, the greatest of these calamities was the abandonment of Allah’s law from the rule on earth and was replaced by the Kufr system, imposed by the Kaffir West at the beginning on our country by force, and then created from the sons of Muslims guards and sponsors to protect and defend and do du’a for them and even fight those who call for the rule of Islam.

And the second of these calamities is that the colonial Kuffar settled in Muslim lands, and they plundered the wealth of the Muslims, and they tore up the Muslim countries, and set over each one of them an agent to take care of their interests, and exercise all types of tortures on the sons of Muslims and created a flag for every torn part instead of the one flag of Islam. A brother became a stranger among his brothers, and they erected borders and dams, and flags and slogans, and loyalties differed, after the Muslims were one Ummah to the exclusion of other people!

This was not enough for the Kuffar, but rather they added to the poisoned daggers which stabbed the body of the Muslim Ummah another dagger, they gave the Jews, who saw the opportunity after the fall of the Khilafah, a state in the land of Israa’ and Mi’raj, and they sheltered, protected and surrounded them with their agents who protect its borders, who showed them love and affection, they even led the Ummah in successive defeats and imaginary wars. As a result of their betrayal they made the Jewish entity, the most humiliated creation and cowardly army, an invincible..

TIME IS UP. POWERFUL REMINDER. Allah has created everything with a fixed life span. The Quran states: {It is not given to any soul to die save by Allah’s permission, and at an appointed time. } (Aal `Imran 3: 145.)
Indeed there is no certainty in life except death. {Every soul will taste death.} (Aal `Imran 3:185.)

Not only is death itself inescapable, but the place and the very day and hour of death have been forever fixed:

{No person knows what he will earn tomorrow and no person knows in what land he will die.} (Luqman 31: 34.)

{When the time arrives they cannot tarry a single moment nor can they go ahead.} (An-Nahl 16: 61.)

In death, we are compelled to return to Allah. In life, however, we can choose to draw closer to Allah voluntarily by living our lives according to His will. In this way, we have the opportunity to meet Allah and gain His pleasure even before we leave this world.
Those who fail to use the bounties of Allah to earn His pleasure during this life, will forever regret their mistakes for the cessation of life brings the cessation of opportunities for redemption and salvation, as the Quran warns:

{When death comes to one of them, he says, My Lord, let me return, so that I may act righteously in whatever I have left behind”

Nay, it is but a meaningless word he utters; and behind them now is the barrier of death until the day they shall be raised up.

Then, when the Trumpet will be blown, no ties of kinship will remain between them that day, nor will they ask about one another.

Then, they whose weight of good deeds is heavy in the balance will attain salvation.

But, they whose weight is light in the balance, will have lost their own souls. In Hell will they abide forever.} (Al-Mu’minun 23: 99-103.)

STAY AWAY FROM THOSE WHO DISCOURAGE US. (30:60) Therefore, (O Prophet), have patience. Surely Allah's promise is true.84 Let those who lack certainty not cause you to be unsteady.

84. The allusion is to the promise made in (verse 47) above. There, Allah has mentioned His way of taking vengeance on those criminals who denied and resisted and ridiculed stubbornly the clear signs brought by the Messengers of Allah, and of helping the believers.

85. That is, “Let not the enemies find you so weak as to suppress you by their uproar, nor to subdue you by their campaign of slander-mongering, nor to dishearten you by their jesting, taunts and derision, nor frighten you by their threats, show of power and persecution, nor allure you by offering baits, nor make you effect a compromise with them on the basis of their appeals in the name of national interests. Instead of this, they should find you so sagacious in the awareness of your objective, so firm in faith and conviction, so resolute in determination, and so strong in character that they should neither be able to subdue you by threats, nor purchase you, nor lure you away by temptation, nor strike any bargain with you in the matter of the faith. This whole theme has been compressed in a short sentence by Allah, saying: “Let not those who lack faith find you light.” Now this is borne out by the firm evidence of history that the Prophet (peace be upon him) proved to be as invincible and indomitable as Allah wanted His last Prophet to be. Anyone who tried his strength with him in any field and sphere was routed, and eventually the Prophet (peace be upon him) succeeded in bringing about the desired revolution in spite of every kind of opposition and resistance put up by the whole of polytheistic and unbelieving Arabia.”

CONCEALING THE SINS OF YOUR BROTHER. We all know very well that we are all sinners. No matter how good we think we are, how ‘religious’ we look, or how good people think we are, we are ALL sinners – without exception. Sometime or the other, be it in public, in private, in the darkness of night or in the brightness of daylight, we all commit sins. It’s an inherent part of human nature.

As far as our own sins are concerned, we should always try to hide them and not make them public. Of course, if we have done something which has hurt someone else or denied them their rights, then we should definitely fess up and ask them for forgiveness (such as stealing something or damaging someone’s property). But if we do something which we know we shouldn’t be doing (such as making out with a member of the opposite sex or looking at stuff we shouldn’t be seeing), we should keep quiet about it and sincerely ask Allah for forgiveness. Allah says in the Holy Quran:

Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly (for forgiveness) and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. (Quran, 2:222)

If we see or hear about someone else committing a sin, we should always try to ignore it. Instead of spreading it, we should hide it and keep it a secret. It is reported that the Prophet (SAW) has said:

Whosoever covers (the sins of) a Muslim, Allah covers (his sins) on the Day of Judgment. (Reported by Bukhari)

If we find it too difficult to keep it secret, the most we are allowed to do is discuss the issue with the person, in private, and try to encourage them to stop committing the sin(s). Allah has said:

The believers, men and women, are Auliyâ’ (helpers, supporters, friends, protectors) of one another, they enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism and all that Islâm orders one to do), and they forbid (people) from Al-Munkar (i.e. polytheism and disbelief of all kinds, and all that Islâm has forbidden). (Quran, 71:9)

The only exception to this is if we find out that someone has..

Ibn Al Qayyim Al Jawziyya Poem An Honorable Meeting With Allah [Emotional].

And come to the day of increase in which,
The Lord of the Throne shall visit, that is a holiday!

Come to a valley that is vast,
Its dirt is greater then the fragrance of musk.

Pulpits of light you will find there and silver,
And of pure gold which does not break.

Mounds of musk set up as sitting places
For those who are beneath the owners of the pulpits.

So while they are busy in their joys,
And their sustenance comes to them,

Suddenly there is a piercing bright light,
Filling the far corners of the gardens.

The Lord of the Heavens manifest Himself for them openly,
He loves from above his Throne and then He speaks.

”Peace be upon you” as all of them hear,
With their ears his greetings of peace when he greets them.

He says ”Ask me whatever you wish for all you,
Wish is with me andIi am Most Merciful.”

They all say ”We ask You (Your) Pleasure,
For You are the One who owns all that is beautiful and shows mercy.”

He grants this to them and they bear witness,
That Allah is the Most Generous.

A CLEAN HEART IS DESTINED FOR PARADISE. BEAUTIFUL ISLAMIC REMINDER. Anas ibn Malik reported: We were sitting with the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, and he said, “Coming upon you now is a man from the people of Paradise.” A man from the Ansar came whose beard was disheveled by the water of ablution and he was carrying both of his shoes with his left hand. The next day the Prophet repeated the same words, and the man came in the same condition. The third day the Prophet repeated the same again, and the man came in the same condition. When the Prophet stood up to leave, Abdullah ibn Amr followed the man and he said, “I am in a dispute with my father and I have sworn not to enter my home for three days. May I stay with you?” The man said yes.

Abdullah stayed three nights with the man but he never saw him praying at night. Whenever he went to bed, he would remember Allah and rest until he woke up for morning prayer. Abdullah said that he never heard anything but good words from his mouth. When three nights had passed and he did not see anything special about his actions, Abdullah asked him, “O servant of Allah, I have not been in dispute with my father nor have I cut relations with him. I heard the Prophet say three times that a man from the people of Paradise was coming to us and then you came. I thought I should stay with you to see what you are doing that I should follow, but I did not see you do anything special. Why did the Prophet speak highly of you?” The man said, “I am as you have seen.” When Abdullah was about to leave, the man said, “I am as you have seen, except that I do not find dishonesty in my soul towards the Muslims and I do not envy anyone because of the good that Allah has given them.” Abdullah said, “This is what you have achieved and it is something we have not accomplished.”

عن أنس بن مالك قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَ..

Ibn Taymiyyah on Tranquility. What can my enemies do to me. I heard the Shaykh of Islam, Ibn Taymiyyah - may Allah sanctify his soul - say, "Truly, there is a Heaven in this world, [and] whoever does not enter it, will not enter the Heaven of the next world." And once he said to me, "What can my enemies do to me? I have in my breast both my Heaven and my garden. If I travel they are with me, and they never leave me. Imprisonment for me is a religious retreat (khalwa). To be slain for me is martyrdom (shahadah) and to be exiled from my land is a spiritual journey (siyaha)."

During his imprisonment in the fortress, he would say, "I could not be more grateful for this blessing were I to have this entire fortress in gold"; or, "I could never repay them for the good that has come to me in [this prison]." [Ibn al-Qayyim accompanied Ibn Taymiyyah to prison (cf. Introduction).] And in prostration he would say, whilst in a state of imprisonment "O Allah, help me in my gratitude to You, remembrance of You and the most comely worship of You" as much as Allah willed. [A prayer recommended by the Prophet to Mu'adh. Nisa'i, Sahw, 1286; Abu Dawud, Salat, 1301]

Once he said to me, "The real prisoner is someone whose heart is imprisoned from his Lord; the true captive is someone captured by his passions." And when he entered the fortress and was inside its walls, he gazed upon them and recited the verse, "And a wall between them is struck which has a gate. On the inside there is a mercy, on the outside punishment." [Al-Qur'an 57:13]

Allah knows, I have never seen anyone who had a better life than his. Despite the difficulties and all that expunges comfort and luxury, nay, things completely opposite to them; despite intimidation and oppression, Ibn Taymiyyah had a purer life than anyone could. He was the most generous, the strongest of heart and the most joyful of soul, with "the radiance of bliss" on his face. ["Nadratun al-na'im". Al-Qur'an 83:24]
==============================..

IMPORTANCE OF KHILAFAH IN THE EYES OF UMAR IBN AL-KHATTAB [RA] The Muslim ruler must appoint people who are qualified to hold positions of high office in the state, and he must also hold consultations with people of knowledge and those who are specialized in various fields. That should not be left to the common folk or the masses for everyone to elect his relative or a member of his party, or to elect the one who will pay the most.
The imam (ruler) or caliph was appointed to lead the Islamic state by one of three methods:

He was chosen and elected by the decision makers (ahl al-hall wa’l-‘aqd). For example, Abu Bakr al-Siddeeq became caliph when he was elected by the decision makers, then the Sahaabah unanimously agreed with that and swore allegiance to him, and accepted him as caliph.

‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan (may Allaah be pleased with him) became caliph in a similar manner, when ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab (may Allaah be pleased with him) delegated the appointment of the caliph to come after him to a shoora council of six of the senior Sahaabah, who were to elect one of their number. ‘Abd al-Rahmaan ibn ‘Awf consulted the Muhaajireen and Ansaar, and when he saw that the people were all inclined towards ‘Uthmaan, he swore allegiance to him first, then the rest of the six swore allegiance to him, followed by the Muhaajireen and Ansaar, so he was elected as caliph by the decision makers.

‘Ali ibn Abi Taalib (may Allaah be pleased with him) became caliph in a similar manner, when he was elected by most of the decision makers.

Dunya Was So Small In The Eyes Of Rasulullah Sallah Allahu Alayhi Wa Salam. Many of us seem to spend an incredible amount of time and energy chasing the dream job. Afterall, a bigger paycheck often translates into a better car, a bigger house and a higher worldly social status. What Are You Striving for: Dunya or Akhirah?

But we are warned about this in The Qur’an:

“Rivalry in worldly increase distracts you (from the remembrance of Allah), till you come to the graves” (102: 1-2).

“Your wealth and your children are but a trial, and Allah has with Him a great reward.” (64:15).

Ever think of the results of all of your worldy efforts?

”It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.” (79:46)

Lavish homes and fancy vacations are temporary worldy fixes whereas dedicating time and effort into something that lasts an eternity make more sense, doesn’t it?

Have you ever stopped for a minute and considered building a house for yourself in Jannah?

”Allah will build house in Jannah for whoever is diligent in observing 12 Sunnah rakat (as follows: 2 before Fajr, 4 rakat before and 2 after Dhur, 2 after the Maghrib, and 2 after Ishaa).” (Tirmidhi)

Yet worries and anxieties are dominating our lives so much so that many of us have missed a few obligatory prayers for some worldly reason. Have we forgotten our appointment with the Angel of Death? Our meeting with Allah?

We have the opportunity for high stations of Jannah – to meet the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him), to meet the blessed companions (May Alah be pleased with them all), and most of all to see Allah, The Most High! It sounds amazing, doesn’t it? Yet still many of us choose to not strive for Jannah. We have sadly become distracted and absorbed by this dunya, and lost sight of our purpose – worshipping Allah – and our main goal – the pleasure of Allah and subsequently Jannah.

“No, you prefer the life of this world, while t..

FOLLOW AL-HAQQ (THE TRUTH) WHEREVER IT IS. Allah (swt) says;Say: "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. accept Islamic Monotheism, follow the Qur'an and the Sunnah), Allah will love you and forgive you of your sins.
And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful." (Noble Qur’an 3:31)
Allah, Mighty and Majestic, explains in the Qur’an that any profession of love for Him can only be substantiated by following the last Messenger whom He has sent to humanity. The
proof of one’s love for Allah is in the belief and the acceptance of Muhammad ibn ‘Abdillah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) as the last messenger of Allah and in following him in matters of
faith, worship, and methodology. Within this framework is the belief which everyone who professes to be a Muslim should adhere to and that is the concept of the finality of revelation, Prophethood, and Messengership. This entails that the religion of Islam was
completed and perfected 1400 years ago with the commissioning of Muhammad ibn ‘Abdillah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) as a Prophet by Allah and that with his departure to the
mercy of Allah, the conclusion of all divine revelation. It is sad to note, however, that despite the clarity of this matter as addressed by Allah, Glorified is He, in His Noble Qur’an and the
clarity with which the Messenger of Allah (sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) spoke about this concept, many people throughout the years since the final revelation have claimed some form of
special ‘commission’ from Allah. There have been those from past generations as well as those of recent times up until today who twist the concepts of nubuwwah (Prophethood) and
rasaalah (Messengership) to include themselves as recipients of some form of wahy (revelation). It is equally as sad to acknowledge that some of these charlatans have influenced
a number of people who identify themselves as Muslims to allow themselves to be consumed by this false and dangerous notion. Some claimants are more obviously false than..

DAWAH WITH THE BEST STYLE HIKMAH AND HONESTY. Dawah is one of the obligations that we, as Muslims, have to fulfil as Allah (SWT) Himself encouraged his mankind to do so.

Also, our beloved Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) has been the biggest example of individuals who have tried time and again for many years to bring people come closer to Islam. However, it is not always an easy task to practice Dawah. In order to practice successful Dawah you need to do the following:

Tip # 1: Make Your Intention Sincere

Before deciding to practice Dawah, he has to make sincere Niyah. Niyah is the intention of doing something and without a sincere Niyah, the practice of Dawah can be very difficult. Making sure that you ask Allah (SWT) for his help in carrying out a task is a responsibility for every Muslim.

Tip # 2: Practice What You Preach

A lot of the time Dawah doesn't make the kind of impact it should. One of the reasons behind this is that the person practicing Dawah doesn't practice what he preaches. You must ensure that he performs Salah, give Qurbani, pay Zakat, and perform Hajj etc. in order to justify his position in his Dawah activity.

Tip # 3: Use the Quran & Seerah as Dawah Guides

Using the Quran & Seerah as Dawah guides (biography of the Prophet Mohammed PBUH) should be everyone's priority. Dawah would be more affective if the examples provided, covered the life occurrences of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and the teachings given in Quran. When the examples are backed up by references, nobody will be able to deny the facts and figures, resulting in many more people coming closer to Islam.
