To their credit, Oneida did send out updated parts awhile ago thst addressed some issues with the system. But, it filed and I thought it was time for a change.

In this video I fix a vintage* milk stool for a family member. The stool top is made up of four pieces, one of which had broken off. I wanted to make sure that the repair not only addressed the piece that broke off, but also kept the other pieces from breaking off as well.

*I'm not sure if this is actually vintage or not. Looks vintage but may not be.

Custom Ampelmann Traffic Light

Back in August my wife and I visited several places in Europe, including Berlin, Germany. By far it was my favorite. In all the walking around we did there, we saw a lot of their pedestrian traffic lights with the Ampelmann figure. I really liked them... Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to find a legitimate way to bring one home with me (😀), but in this video I show how I made custom Ampelmann inserts for a US pedestrian signal. It’s not the real thing, but it’s a fun homage to our trip.
