Battle Ram (Classics) Masters Of The Universe

One of the most iconic vehicles from the Masters Of The Universe toy line, is the almighty 2014 Classics Battle Ram. Beautifully re-scaled for the 7 inch figures, truly a sight to behold. Designed by Ted Mayer and produced by the Four Horseman, it pretty much has it all.

The only thing I'd want included is a flip down compartment door at the back, to store weapons as you head into battle.

...and maybe a cup holder...

Scareglow (Classics) Masters Of The Universe

Hailing from a dark dimension is the 2008 Scareglow, from the Masters Of The Universe classics toy line by Mattel. As the evil ghost of Skeletor, his main powers are being wet your pants scary and glowing in the dark. In the 2021 Masters Of The Universe 'Revelations' animation, he also feeds on fear.

I picked him up used on Ebay, the cost was also quite frightening...

Lodar (Classics) Masters Of The Universe

Lodar is his name, spikey bits are his game. Released in 2017 for the Masters Of The Universe 'Classics' line. This figure is a deep cut, even for fans I'm guessing. He was the ruler of Slave City from the mini-comic of the same name.

I picked him up used from Ebay, as I really wanted the manacles/shackles/chains accessory he came with. His Mad Max-ness has grown on me, quite the menacing character. If his spiked mace doesn't instill fear into his enemies, magic-ing them to death surely will...

Golden Axe Skeleton (Unboxing)

For the 30th Anniversary of the Sega video game Golden Axe, Storm Collectibles released this awesome pair of skeletons in 2020.

I've been wanting a good generic skeleton for a while now and with my acquisition of the Origins Castle Grayskull, I decided to finally get one to put inside the Castle, for a bit of flavour and spookiness.

Guardian Of Grayskull Custom & Gun Turret Comparison

The walls of Castle Grayskull were looking a little bleak, so I added a custom Guardian to liven it up a bit. Nothing over the top, it turned out okay. Now the Sorceress has someone to talk to on the those drafty winter nights...

My vintage gun turret came in the mail while I was editing this, so a comparison was in order. I also found/made some sound effects to put on my phone to give the Castle some noise pizzazz.

Weapons Rack Classics (Unboxing) Masters of the Universe

The 2010 Classics Weapon Rack is an excellent diorama piece. Although a little too large for the Origins Castle Grayskull, as this rack is for 7 inch figures (forced perspective shots could work). I wanted all the weapons present from my original Grayskull however.

If it wasn't for my FOBO (Fear of box opening) I'd open it up for display...

Castle Grayskull Origins (Unboxing) Part 2

By the power of ebay. Introducing the 2021 Origins Castle Grayskull.

I was fortunate enough to have the original Castle Grayskull (and Snake Mountain) playset as a child. Mattel is going for the nostalgia push and it's working. It got me good. This re-release features a new sculpt and other welcome upgrades... Except for the awfully, awful gun turret. It reminds me of a bath toy.

I touched up some parts of the Castle, with some subtle silver paint pen detail. It came out really well. It looks cool just sitting on a shelf, especially with some lighting. Snake Mountain and Skeleton Warriors are coming next year, I may pick them up... Battleram would be sweet too.

Orb of Power & Pedestal with Cage & LED light (Masters of the Universe)

The Masters of the Universe nostalgia wave has swept me up, I've given in.
For my origins Castle Grayskull, I think it needs a little more set dressing. These Classics' pieces are perfect. I purchased the items used, however they scrubbed up like new.

The Dungeon cell and LED were a temporary arrangement for the video. Just fun messing around with it all. I'm going to go broke on watch batteries...

DeClasse Tahoma Coupe (Muscle) GTA 5

Pick the Tahoma Coupe up before December 18th, 2022 and it's free.
Not much in the way of interior or engine dress up bits. A blower can be added, so that's a plus.

PS5/XboxSeriesX have had a visual upgrade too in the latest update. In fidelity mode, everything is looking even sharper and ray tracing makes the shiny, super shiny. It looks nice, but exposes how old the game is.

Gluten free, multi grain bread is what I usually put out. I rake the bark for insects/slugs also. On the other side of the road we have a creek and a large amount of trees, so these guys aren't wanting for food. I did buy a large bag of wild bird seed, only the crested pigeon would touch it. Ah well.

Debadge (Toyota 86 GTS)

Today I removed the Toyota badge, to clean up the rear and regain some symmetry.

I used a sponge, hot soapy dishwater, hairdryer, tooth floss (Waxed), WD-40 and a clean rag for removal.

A clay bar, polishing compound (A lot) and then wax (Not shown) to complete the process.

Do not feel sorrow for the Toyota badge, for it shall go on to bigger and better things...
