The Genesis of the King James Version (KJV) of the Holy Bible

The King James Version (KJV) of the Bible, also known as the Authorized Version, originated from a desire for a new English translation that would unite various religious factions in England during the early 17th century.

In 1604, King James I of England initiated the translation process following a conference at Hampton Court Palace to create a unifying translation that would be authoritative, accurate, and acceptable to both Puritans and Angelicans.

In 1607, the king appointed 54 scholars to work on the project. The translation process, which began in 1604 and concluded in 1611, involved six committees working on different sections of the Bible.

The result of this collaborative effort was the King James Version, first published in 1611. The translation aimed to balance literary excellence with faithfulness to the original Hebrew and Greek texts.

Over time, the KJV became the standard English Bible and has played a significant role in shaping the language, literature, and religious practices of English-speaking communities for centuries.

The Spirit of: Jezebel

Jezebel was a queen in the Old Testament who exerted significant influence over her husband, King Ahab of Israel. She promoted idolatry and led the people of Israel astray, encouraging them to worship false gods, particularly Baal. She is mentioned in 1 Kings chapters 16, 18, 19 and 21 and 2 Kings chapter 9.

The spirit of Jezebel refers to a manipulative and controlling influence that operates in both individuals and communities. It is a term used to describe a deceptive and seductive spirit that seeks to promote rebellion against God's authority and disrupt the work of God's kingdom. This spirit is characterized by various traits, including:

1. Manipulation and Deception: to achieve its own selfish desires. It uses seduction, lies, and flattery to gain influence and control over people.

2. Control and Domination: particularly in matters of spiritual authority. It undermines legitimate leadership and promotes its own agenda.

3. Idolatry and False Teaching: encouraging the worship of false gods or the distortion of true biblical teachings, leading people away from the worship of the one true God.

4. Intimidation and Persecution: to silence opposition and maintain its control. It seeks to suppress the voices of those who speak against it or stand for truth and righteousness.

5. Jealousy and Envy: particularly towards those who possess spiritual gifts, authority, or influence. It seeks to undermine and destroy the work of God through division and strife.

False Gods and Idols:
Mercury

In Roman mythology, Mercury is the god of commerce, financial gain, travelers, and communication. He is the equivalent of the Greek god Hermes. Mercury is often depicted with a caduceus, a staff with two snakes entwined, which has become a symbol associated with commerce and trade.

Here is the KJV Bible verse that mentions Mercury:

Acts 14:12 :
"And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker."

In this verse, the people of Lystra, having witnessed the miraculous healing performed by the Apostle Paul, mistakenly thought that Paul and Barnabas were divine beings.

They referred to Barnabas as Jupiter (Zeus in Greek mythology) and Paul as Mercurius (Mercury in Roman mythology) due to his eloquence as the chief speaker.

Paul and Barnabas had to quickly correct the crowd, asserting their humanity and redirecting the focus to the one true God (Acts 14:14-15).

Hi I'm Thomas Carroll and welcome to my channel Against Spiritual Wickedness.

The phrase "against spiritual wickedness" comes from the Bible, Ephesians 6:12

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.”

This channel is about exposing satanic deception to reveal Jesus Christ.

We are born and indoctrinated into satanic systems of control. The world is under more mind control than ever before in history.

I used to study the occult, and the paranormal, but back in January 2012 Jesus Christ showed me the truth. I took a 180% turn from the occult to Jesus and I haven't looked back.

Jesus has shown me that the only way out of the satanic matrix is through Him. In John chapter 14 verse 6 it says "Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life, no man cometh unto the Father but by me."

I've been having a gentle urgency from the Holy Ghost to share some things; thus this channel. So be sure to subscribe, share and comment. Visit often as there are lots more videos coming soon.
