I'm practicing a bit of Schumann and Ravel. It is not performance ready, but I'm working on it! Tinker (Timneh African Gray Parrot), Luci (Eclectus Parrot), Kizsemana (Bearded Dragon Lizard), Rose (Chocolate Point Siamese), and Lily (Seal Point Siamese) keep me company when I practice.
This morning, my Mom shot some piano practice video (Prokofiev) for Dad who is away playing Old Goat at Scout Camp. The stuff going on around me broke my concentration Big Time between 0:55 - 1:11 because Lily (the cat) looked like she wanted to bite off Tinker's (the Timneh African Grey Parrot) head. I am OK with the radio blasting, the doors opening and closing, phones ringing, construction noises, sports channel blaring, cameras in my face, etc., but I get a bit nervous when the cats look like they want to put the birds on the food menu.
Piano Practice in My House:
Kizsemana, the bearded dragon, likes Prokofiev.
Lily, the siamese kitten won't leave me alone while I try to learn Ravel. Rose, the other kitten is messing with my pedals.
My brother runs around with a video camera.
No one ever shuts off the Rock 'n Roll music.
I found a Practice Session video while cleaning out my Computer Archives. 2 recent video clippings were added to this video today. The entire video of the clipping before the Practice Session can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lC-ZnnfMlhY ... The entire video of the clipping after the Practice session can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqCQr8hCXDE ... (The photo added to the video is on my computer)
