Simonette Road, South of Valleyview, Alberta, and other surrounding roads. Not a complete trip, just some footage I found on one of my memory cards. Periodically I will upload some older footage.

For those who live and/or work in these areas, this will be nothing new. For those who don't, watch and check out a different world.

Had the radio on while driving so sound is muted to avoid any copy-write issues. This will likely be the case in nearly all of my older footage and some of the newer stuff as well.

Another drive on the Seal Lake Road, north of High Prairie, Alberta. Unlike the previous video, which was shot in rainy and muddy conditions, this one was mostly sunny and dry.

For those who live and work in these areas, this will be nothing new. For those who don't watch, and check out a different world.

No sound on this one. I was listening to the radio while driving. To keep from running afoul of any copy-write issues, I have muted the sound.

A drive on and around Smoke Lake Road near Fox Creek, Alberta.

As is the norm this year, it was raining. Again. Still, the roads were not in bad enough condition to need 4WD.

For those who live and work in these areas, this will be nothing new. For those, who do not, here is a peek into why no one drives a car in the oilfield.

A drive through Old High Prairie Road, between Valleyview, Alberta, and High Prairie, Alberta.

Encountered a large group of people on horseback at 21:15. Well, a large group as far as people on horseback outside of a rodeo is concerned.

I had to mute the audio, since I had the radio on and I don't want to run afoul of any copy-write issues. Instead I used some music from the YouTube library. Not sure if I should have left it silent instead. This will be an issue in many of my videos, since it is my tendency to listen to the radio, or music of some form when I drive.

The worst of the mud and rain for those not interested in watching the whole video.

Driving on, and around, Seal Lake Road, north of High Prairie, Alberta. Ran into some rain and mud. For those who live and/or work on northern Alberta oilfield roads, this is nothing new. For those who don't, watch and see.

Nearly had unintentional Bambi steaks for supper that night.
On Alberta Highway 679, north of High Prairie.

A drive on and around Seal Lake Road, north of High Prairie Alberta. Ran into some rain and mud.

If you live and work in these areas, this will be nothing you haven't seen before. If not, well, watch and see.
