As I sit here nursing a foot with nerve pain that I can best describe as a "toothache but in the foot," I realise that sometimes when we ask God for something, things seem to get worse for awhile before they get better. (Healing from stroke follows a physiological progression of flaccidity (no muscle function) to spasticity (function and feeling return, which can sometimes be accompanied by chronic pain), and then back to usual function.
This chronic pain in my foot made me think about how the blind beggar in John 9 asked Jesus that he might see again, and then Jesus put more layers of occlusion on his eyes and told him to find his way to a specific pool to wash it off. An inconvenience for a blind man, to say the least.
When Jesus says his yoke is easy and his burden is light, he requires us to do certain things still.
I don’t know about you, but if I were born blind, finding my way to a specific pool with spit and dirt in my eyes is a minor inconvenience I’d gladly suffer to gain sight!
As my sales trainer once said, the Universe will meet you halfway. It won’t come all the way to you. You have to do something, and then the Universe will move toward you. You need to do something. Just make sure it’s light and easy, to jive with the nature of Jesus.
Thanks for watching. Leave a comment and subscribe for more like this.
Till next time, keep moving forward with light and easy actions and see if God won't meet you halfway!

Have you ever wondered, WWJD when it comes to affiliate marketing?
Here’s a what Jesus had to say about labour, from Matthew 11:28–30:
“Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”
Thus I believe that life is meant to be light and easy service.
If you’re not serving anyone or any higher purpose, that’s empty and meaningless.
Yet if you’re toiling and slaving, that’s oppression and meaningless also.
Your life is meant to be of purposeful, yet light and easy, service.
The meaningful life is marked by light and easy service to people and worthy causes.
That’s why I promote the easiest way to start affiliate marketing for beginners.
It’s not because I think you’re lazy or after easy money.
It’s because I believe in Jesus and therefore reject “hustle culture,” which so often idolises human effort yet grinds down on the human.
So you can be of service, yet live a light and easy life, I present to you the

Hey Friend,
If you’ve been on the solopreneur journey for any amount of time, odds are you’ve tried your hand at an MLM or two.
I have too, for a few years, and I’d left, because:
1. The products, although of quality, are just too expensive.
2. The monthly autoships compound on this problem, and I found it just unsustainable after awhile. I was spending close to RM1,000/month on autoships.
3. Joining an MLM is a great way to send your friends and family rushing away when they see or hear you coming. 🙈 And I value my relationships over sales.
So I’d hung up my MLM hat and resigned myself to earning from just one level - my direct sales from affiliate marketing.
However, this funnel I stumbled upon from one of the guys I buy Internet traffic from brought me back. Because:
1. The products are low-cost (think Costco business model versus Chanel)
2. There are NO autoships. Like Costco, you pay a low membership fee and order products at a discounted price AS AND WHEN you need them.
3. It uses an internet traffic business model, so your friends and family need never know you joined “not another MLM” unless you want to tell them, for some reason. 😉 Also, it’s an infinite market, unlike your friends and family, which are a limited and slowly shrinking market (a secret no upline wants to talk about in MLM.)
The funnel is linked below; it’s one of the most promising things I’ve seen in a long time.
And it starts from $10, which is also another thing I like, after tiring myself out trying to sell high-priced items to a world that’s increasingly strapped for cash, a trend that’s become increasingly obvious over the years.

Ownership is the key to building wealth. Let me explain.
Through the ages, residual income is how wealth is built.
And ownership is how residual income is built.
ownership of different things, in different ages.
In the Agrarian age, landowners would allow peasants to live off their land as subsistence farmers, and collect royalties off their produce. That’s where the word comes from - royalties paid to noble lords and royalty. So if you owned land then, you were rich.
In the lndustrial age, the owners of the machines and factories became wealthy.
In the Information Age, the owners of intellectual property (IP) became wealthy - through royalties on book sales and licensing deals, for example. My favourite success story is JK Rowling and the amazing wizarding world she created. From a single mother on welfare to being one of the richest creators in the world today and throughout history.
Intellectual property is a funny thing, in that it’s not a thing in itself. It’s just information that enough people collectively agree belongs to someone and it’s protected by law if challenged. Just like Harry Potter isn’t a real boy. He’s just a name and a story whom we all agree belongs to Rowling. And the courts would enforce that ownership if someone tried to infringe on it.
Other IPs are like a book, a blog or a podcast channel and episodes of videos.
Another kind of intellectual property you might not obviously think of as IP is a position in a compensation plan. It’s not a thing like a brick and mortar store. It’s just information that enough people agree on, and it’s backed by law. If you want to be an owner of IP in the Information Age, you could write a book, record a song, create a film, OR create a position in a compensation matrix such as I have in a few affiliate programs.
The “bad news” is that IP is not a material thing you can hold. But that’s also the good news! Think about it, in the California Gold Rush, land was limited. If you were late, you w..

I’d just left the beach this morning, on my way back home to the city with my family.
I continually have you in my thoughts. I think of you as my “YouTube congregant”.
In this video, I want to tell you about an incident this morning that sparked a reflection.
We had packed all our bags and taken the lift down to the ground floor when the wife realised she forgot her handbag and she had to go back upstairs to fetch it.
“You didn’t take five seconds, did you?” I taunted her, unfortunately.
I was referring to a habit that I practise and therefore preach: before leaving any location, like a hotel room, restaurant table, church sanctuary, cinema hall, etc, take five seconds to ask yourself, have I left anything behind?
I’ve left things behind in my life. My phone, my keys, my money clip. Mercifully, all found their way back to me, thus far.
And then I realised I’ve never INTENTIONALLY left something behind. Things that get forgotten lie in the “things you don’t know you don’t know” category: Unconscious Ignorance. That’s why I inculcate the habit of taking five seconds for God or my subconscious to bring to my conscious awareness anything that I might have unconsciously forgotten. There are four quadrants of awareness:
Quadrant 1: Things that you know that you know
Such as the fact that the earth orbits the sun.
Quadrant 2: Things that you know you don’t know
Such as how to pilot a fighter jet.
And if you DO know how to do that, definitely tell me about it in the comments below!
Quadrant 3: Things that you don’t know that you know
because you’re so good at it that you don’t even realise you’re doing it. Like my brother’s ability to draw anything on request. And what gets me is that he doesn’t seem to realise what a tremendous ability this is.
1. Quadrant 4: things that you don’t know that you don’t know
2. The things that blindside us are things that lie in the fourth quadrant: things that we don’t even know we don’t know.
