Released in 1997.

Written, produced and performed by Helge Siehl, Martin Gitschel & Stefan Knappe.

Maeror Tri disbanded in 1996. As is the case with this album, their work continued to be released for some years afterwards.

Released in January 1992.

The tracks here are of the earliest (Belgian) release on 12" vinyl. The slightly later UK release (May 1992) has Analogue Bubblebath 1 as Track 2, a longer version of Flap Head as Track 3 (printed as 'Flaphead') and Phloam as Track 4 (misnamed as Isoprophlex).

Reissues post 2000 seem to use the 'Belgian' tracklist but use the longer version of Flap Head.

It's interesting that Richard James is styled as 'The Aphex Twin' for this recording when a large majority of his releases drop the 'The' and are just 'Aphex Twin'.

It may seem strange that an artist whose career was founded on post punk, new wave and synthwave should cross into ambient music in the middle part of their career, although John Foxx isn't the only example of someone who has done this. The uniqueness of his contribution manifests in those releases made under the 'Cathedral Oceans' brand, a staggering set of works, first released over the decade from 1995 - 2005, which have an architectural/ecclesiastical ambience making them difficult to compare with anything else.

An insight into the motivation behind these works is given by John Foxx at cathedraloceans.com. The inspiration for them goes back to his childhood and teenage years.

One of three tracks from the D. Moo EP released on 12" vinyl in 2003.

In my opinion the best of the three tracks from the EP. The music of ice cubes, cocktail shakers, soda syphons and the clinking of glasses.

Written, produced and performed by Jason M Williams.

My comment - I sometimes post things for their historical interest more than their musical appeal and this is one example of that. It's hard to understand why Jason Williams released this under the alter ego 'Vincent' when he had been known, and enjoyed success, as 'Velocette' for over a decade.

There are dozens of bands and solo artists with 'Vincent' as their name or as part of their name. This creates confusion and has resulted in this EP being catalogued under the wrong artist by Discogs (although the contents are correctly described and attributed). In fairness to Discogs this is very rare and their contributors are normally meticulous.

It's also a surprise that in 2003 Jason Williams should revert to such an extreme minimal style after releasing two sophisticated and borderline brilliant albums in the 90's.

Welcome to Ambient Deluxe, a collection of music written and performed in a spirit of detached observation, contemplation and reflection. The emphasis is on poignant, melancholy, dystopian, industrial and cosmic themes.

Content doesn't fit into a single genre but you will find shoegaze, drone ambient, dark ambient, space ambient, downtempo, techno and anything broadly industrial or electronic.

I have no rights over any of the music featured on the channel. Some of it (as indicated) is in the public domain or free to use with attribution to the artist. Other material may be copyrighted. If you want to raise a copyright issue with any particular video please do this via Bitchute or in the comment section for the video itself.

Visuals on the channel are all in the public domain or free to use with attribution to the creator, whether that's me or someone else. Links are always provided in the notes under each video where an external creator has been used. If you want to use any of their material (or look at their other work) it is always best to go back to the original download source rather than copy it from here. That's because Bitchute heavily compresses video files during processing and drives down their quality.
