This mix was originally inspired by the visionary images from the futuristic skyscraper cities and then continued even further to the space exploration and thus the overall idea of humanity's hope to thrive trough science and technology. It's pretty much about the progress after the technological revolution what we've witnessed the last 200 years. And of course the outstanding effort to evolve as species trough knowledge is what gives a promising framework of potential for mankinds future.
Starting from a bit melancholic atmosphere in a rainy midnight neon city lights and building into a new dawn filled with uplifting excitement like a view of futuristic landscapes. With awareness that not even the sky's the limit to humanity. :]

The inspiration to do this mix got pretty much initiated when I was thinking about the progress over the technological revolution what humanity has witnessed over the last few millenia. The outstanding effort to evolve as a "specie" through knowledge is what gives a promising framework of potentiality for mankinds future.

The motivation to do this mix came from the futuristic idea of planetary terraforming and yes, James Cameron's Avatar. Also the short "message" you hear before the end of the first hour gave me a huge inspirational spark to start building the mix.
This is pretty much about the interstellar colonisation when two worlds collide. And not without heavy consequences. So, better not to expect only the beautiful soundscapes of awe and wonder. A deceitful, greedy and technologically way more superior "conquistadors" has emerged from the skies. Bringing their own wars with them...

[ Spoiler warning!]
Inspired by the epic tale from Star Wars where nefarious Darth Sidious alias Palpatine, schemed himself to become the leader of the Republic. And the tragic destiny of Anakin Skywalker with too many inner conflicts to handle.
With years of patience, careful and ingenious planning, the senator Palpatine, managed to mislead and manipulate the honoured Jedi Council and the Republic right under their very noses. He was the manifestation of pure evil and the puppetmaster who was pulling the strings whole time and even managed to lure young Skywalker to the dark side as his new apprentice.
This was a treacherous path for Anakin that ultimately lead to dreadful actions. With mind and body tormented, there was no return for him. The future emperor, Darth Sidious, made his new apprentice the leader of the Imperial Fleet to help him to invade the galaxy. Skywalker was hence named - Darth Vader
A bit more moody and disturbed mix build from a different perspective over Darth Vader, as he was only a result of a wicked and twisted manipulation.
