This will be my first cam of the Rocky Mount to Russel mixed freight train CSX M 652 after re-instatement. This train was abolished back in late Jan, but by the 2nd week in March, both M 652 and 653 were back on the Charlotte Sub. Here's M 652 16 leaving the Cherryville siding track after meeting it's counterpart, M 653. 652 will be a smaller train so a lone ES44 is all it needs to move. M 652 will have some sort of what looks to be an old passenger coach on the rear.

NS 153 would end up getting a crew about an hour after recording NS 283. I took the time to walk the puppies so when 153 crossed the DD at Blacksburg, that gave me plenty of time to meet them at gaffney. Leave to me to amlost screw it up and miss 153, but alas. Here they are going south by Cherokee (Downtown Gaffney) on track 1. 153 would have to hold at Timken behind NS 283 due to some issues with the plant at Thicketty.

Enola, PA to Conway, PA manifest - mixed freight train NS 13V cruises west on track 1 by Carney's Crossing. The Pittsburgh line is the old Pennsylvania RR mainline that Bisects the entire state of Pa west ----East. Though there aren't as many trains in today's PSR era, still plenty of traffic and the scenery is great.

I haven't seen a 3900 series with NS since they retired those B23-7s back in the day. These are former CEFX lease units acquired from CIT Rail in 2023. I'm not sure how many of these AC44s NS has acquired from CIT. NS has also entered an agreement to buy 44 Dash 9s from CPKC.

Loaded coal train NS 820 rolls east on track 1 by Shawsville. Something was going on with the V Line and it was effectively curfewed. That resulted in all traffic using the N Line from Narrows to Roanoke. This had it's disadvantages that we'll discuss in the NS 786 Video.
