A little while ago I made Part I of this fanart of Princess Twilight Sparkle of the My Little Pony universe. In this part, I turn the character dark. This is a dark art channel, after all. This is an xenomorph art quickie in time lapse. It features the infamous alien of the film series Alien. The character was invented by H.R. Giger, a great visionary of grim dark science fiction art.

This time lapse video shows the painting process of a line artwork (see part I for drawing and lineart). I use black Chinese ink and show you how to use ink for painting your lineart step by step. You need brushes, kitchen paper, a mixing palette and water to paint with ink. If you have good quality watercolor paper or similar, I recommed soaking the areas you want to draw on in water first. This helps you control the ink flow as the ink will only ever go where the water is.

This is a copic speed drawing of an anime character (oc). I am showing the process how to draw this anime girl with copic step by step from drawing, colouring / illustration and details.
For this drawing, I use my marker sketch pad, copic, copic ciao, copic sketch, i love art markers, stabilo fine liners, white gel markers and white lacquers.

I've been keeping my head down for the last couple of days since I am finally back on my job and couldn't get the editing done. There is still a ton of video material to work on on my computer. Since I'd really like to focus on actually doing the art and not getting lost in the editing, I am cutting down on the latter a bit and want to work out a new approach. I am still planning to upload weekly and got the next two weeks all prepared, so stay tuned and be well, my friends!

Hey everyone, this is my version of Baby Yoda Grogu from the Star Wars series The Mandalorian. It's a digital painting made in Photoshop.

This was my first try at painting with Photoshop and half the time I did not know what brushes to use and how to get the eraser to do what I want. There are way too many different modes for everything. After learning by doing on Gimp, Krita and Clip Studio, I do not find Photoshop as intuitive as those other tools. However, it definetely offers a bunch of more options than the others and some pretty cool functions. I am looking forward to finding out what they are and what they do.

This is the way - yeah, I can feel the hype now. It caught me! So here's my Mandalorian speedpainting for you showing you how I paint the Mandalorian step by step. I've tried to keep the painting style on it rather than trying to make it photorealistic. This suits my art style so much better and to my mind, art should be unique and not look all the same. Hopefully, I've done the job and you enjoy watching it!
