If you say to Mr. Hovind "A is similar to B" on any subject, he thinks you said "A is exactly the same as B in every respect". Therefore all he has to do is find one difference for him to think he refuted you.

Kent Hovind thinks that an argument from incredulity is sufficient to debunk the Big Bang. Does he think Black Holes don't exist?

I honestly was not pleased with what Legal Eagle said, and that is in spite of my respecting him overall. There's a difference between good technical knowledge and understanding the philosophical underpinnings, and even with him generally getting that he missed it this time.

This doesn't mean I like Trump's pardons. I think they are a joke. I just don't think they are bad in the way he does.

I don't want anyone to harass Legal Eagle (although I admit I don't have that much pull), I just wanted to state why I think he is wrong. I want this to remain civil.

Sometimes people mistakenly assume I am an Atheist because I argue against Creationism. However, arguing against one belief system does not make one opposed to all belief systems. I see a distinction between Christianity and Creationism that has not seen a similar magnitude distinction since some of the very interesting heresies of the first through fourth centuries.
