Also posting it here because YouTube blockades and what not. Good grief!!!

Video description in the comments section, eventually. Am off to buy food..

This is a re-upload of a Cinematic Music Video I made back in 2008 or 2009, it was banned off youtube and put me off making more videos like it. Damn shame too, I put in a lot of work into it at the time! Ahh well, hopefully it stays on BitChute forever! :D

This is my **second** (almost forgot I made the Spiderman one!) AMV project this year, and it's almost June!

Made from quite possibly THE greatest anime tv show of all time: Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann; originally released in 2007 and still very much relevant today. I make it a habit to watch the show at least once a year and it truly is worth the watch if you haven't seen it yet. They just don't make them like this anymore.

I thought the song: "Limit" from German hip-hop group Deichkind truly fits the song as it always asks the question: "..bin ich, schon am limit?...", which loosely translates to: "...am I truly at my limits?". The show Gurren Lagann is always about breaking whatever limitations you find yourself in, be it mental, physical or spiritual. It is that empowering message within the show along side its great characters and story that bring me back to it with every passing year.

In the video, I tried to show what happens every time Simon and his crew overcome their challenges by drawing on incredible strengths from within to simply kick reason reason to the curve and win their battles against overwhelming odds, each time this happens, Gurren Lagann; the mecha Simon pilots undergoes evolutionary changes, almost like Simon himself. The culmination of this evolution is seen at the end of the video and the anime show itself.

I absolutely loved making this, I can only hope to have selected the best clips I could logically arrange. The show has so many great action pieces that it truly was a challenge finding the sequences that would fit. I hope you all enjoy watching this as I did and still do, even though I arranged it. Will be working on my next project soon enough. Enjoy, stay safe!! :}

Not entirely anime but animated still. Quite possibly one of the best films I saw in 2018 coupled with a fantastic track from the rap hip hop group; Run The Jewels (highly recommended!). The most challenging part of arranging this clip was the attempt to highlight the darker aspects of this film, it is genuinely uplifting movie so it was pretty difficult to capture the darker atmosphere of the film in alignment with the music. Pretty standard stylistic track for my part, glad it's done though!

I actually uploaded this to BitChute first, so that's a first. I reckon I am pretty much done with the Knights of Sidonia franchise now, I find it odd that I am somewhat recycling ideas from previously published videos; oh well what can you do eh?

I have long wanted to return to this franchise with this song in my head, it just works, lyrically. My favourite bit is the part of the song where one of the rappers extols that: "...I am 28 light years old..", and the original Tsumugi battle frame Tanikaze piloted had the exact same model number insignia on it, I mean...c'mon, this video had to happen!

ANYWAYS! Onward, upwards and on to the next project I go. Hope y'all enjoy this one as much as I had fun making it. Please feel free to subscribe to the channel. :}

Re-uploaded following SFX edits and other minor sequence changes.

Believe it or not, this video was a “quickie”, I was meant to put this together in a weekend but then my OCD kicked in. I thought it would be a good idea to remix the original legendary opening sequence with the end theme “Making of a Cyborg” sound track but with elemental inspirations of the original opening sequence's SFX. As I could not really insert the credit scroll sound effect due to its fusion with the opening musical track, I literally had to source something similar to it; I.e. type writing sounds heavily edited to match the frame quickening of the B-roll clips. The video is a slow sombre affair, but with the B-roll clipping I attempted to imbue intense scenes from the OVA to lightly shock the viewer's attention and keep them invested. Naturally, if you have already seen the 1995 movie, I reckon you'd appreciate the effort, if not; please go watch the movie right now!

All in all, I am very satisfied with this outing, I might make another quickie next or shoot for a more grandiose project next. I do have quite a lot of ideas though! Any ways, as always; hope you enjoyed this as much as I did.

Arguably one of my best technical arrangements, I reckon this video pioneered my frame by frame cutting techniques that I am still making use of today. Hope y'all like it.

Ok, ok, ok! I promise to stop beating the Evangelion horse for a while after this video. Oddly enough I actually started working on this project before my most recent Evangelion video using the “In my spirit” track, I just couldn't focus on getting it done until now and look at how much time it took! ^^

In either case, I really will leave the franchise alone after this, I have tons of ideas for other videos and I am very glad to get this one over and done with. So yeah, do enjoy the video, it is my most perfect video yet. Personally, I refer to it as a series of decisive battles (hehe, see what I did there?).

Ok, first off, I must apologize. I apologize because this music comes no where close to doing the feature film “Your Name” any justice, it is my hatchet job at making a video from it whilst trying to siphon off a minute aspect of its greatness. There was no way for me to even deign to try and summarize the plot of this film into a 4 minute video, so I didn't and just went with the flow whilst trying to not to spoil the main plot lines. “Your Name” was in my opinion one of the best films to have been released in 2016, it is an absolute joy to watch (now available on Amazon Prime!) and making use of the song: “Mimochodem” by Karolina Kozak seemed to gel very well with it. I normally don't make AMVs like this one, especially in feature film format, it's usually too slow for me to pick up sequences to synchronize.

All in all, this was also a joy to make. Took me about 3 hours, which in itself is a throw back to my earlier video editing days. I have also had to carry out numerous re-edits following the initial upload as I felt a few things were out of place and the near ending sequence was too cheesy. That said, with this video out of the way I can now tackle a more complicated project. I am also happy I was able to knock out one more video before 2018 closed out, as such, do enjoy! :}

"OPENING STRONG IN 2017!!!! Finally back in business baby!!

And for real, if you see the Artist; Perturbator, tell him/her that I got his/her official music video right here!

I fucking, love, this song. Who would have thought that finishing Wolfenstein - The New Order on a Friday morning could lead me to wonderful musical discoveries on the You Tubes?! I mean, I also discovered that Kirsten Dunst made a music video waaaaaaay back in 2010!!! Who woulda thought that eh?

I must have listened to this tune 4,000 times upon discovery last weekend. I consider it to be amongst the best songs I have heard in my entire life and it immediately inspired me to make an AMV with it. Fellow 1980s born peeps will instantly recognise my use of the setting of Bubble Gum Crisis 2033 (not 2040, we do not ever mention that abomination). Out of all the episodes, I made use of the tale of "Revenge Road", which I thought goes very well with Perturbator's "Venger" theme. I may have altered the natural plot of the anime to fit the song's narrative but I reckon it's worth it. So yeah, please enjoy this video. I already consider it one of my all time best.

PS: I love Greta Link's voice. Whouuuuuuuuuu!! XD"

I consider this video to be my masterpiece, honestly; at least for now until I make another one. I also just realised that this will be my 5th video of the year, wow; I usually aim for 4 videos due to work life balance.

The Rebuild of Evangelion series is quite long in the tooth these days, episode 3.33 was released back in 2012 so there are few fans of the franchise still hoping for Hideaki Anno to deliver on what is to be the final piece to the jigsaw mind phack that is the Evangelion series.

Outside of that, this was also a joy to make but also intense. I have had to re-factor the video numerous times to reduce the flashing image syndrome it might cause, I couldn’t do it any other way (sorry!).

Ok, I might add to this later, but do enjoy the video. I just might be able to squeeze another video out by Christmas, but don’t hold me to it!! XD

This has been an absolute joy to make! Right from the moment I started watching the show a couple of years back I knew there was potential to make a video with it. I reckon the main original motion picture theme from the "Man of Steel" film fits "Space Battleship Yamato 2199" perfectly. For me, I reckon the theme within the sound track itself is one of hope, in the anime show, the very nature to pool all of Earth's resources to build the Yamato also solidified the very essence of hope for the besieged humans in the story. This was why I made sure to take my time to re-tell the established story line with the early emphasis of loss which holds through for both the Man of Steel film and this anime tv show and then the eventual courage to hope again.

Hans Zimmer makes powerful music, this was my opportunity to pay tribute to one of his best pieces of work. This AMV only really works because of the music Hans made. I hope someone shows this to him!

All in all, I am glad this one came out ok with less errors than some of my previous work. Production took this long because it was a major pain managing all the clips required. I ramped up the image quality to better the visuals but the resulting files are heavy as fack! Ahh well, at least it's done now. :}

This was a joy to make, very relaxing and fulfilling. It was also a video request made by a buddy of mine and it has been on the waiting list for quite a while (almost two years, bruh..). Anyways, I had hoped for a more sci fi space opera setting to roll this project in but seeing as those are few and far between (I fucking hate Gundam ok?), I decided on the "Sky Crawlers" OVA. The film itself is a tough watch, wrapped in philosophy that my IQ could never penetrate and slow burning, how ever, it did have enough of an underlying plot line to serve the song from Moderat: "Rusty Nails", a song recommended from my buddy. That said, do enjoy. I have already begun researching my next video. :}

That said, I reckon I might start investing in Blu-Rays, need to get visual quality in order. Standard definition can only do so much. ^^

This video is essentially a "quickie". It stemmed from an idea I had almost a decade ago when I ran into a music video where the author used this very same Linkin Park song, but he had used a footage from the video game: "Homeworld". I thought there was something very sombre and soothing watching his fleet engage an enemy fleet, something about the way the fighters danced and waltzed in space...yeah; that whole sequence stuck with me.

Eventually I came upon "Macross - Do you remember love" and figured that I could very well use it to make this video. I mean yeah, I let a lot of things slide, but that usually tends to happen when you make a music video from a feature length film. I also thought about getting this project out of the way so I could devote my time to more complex projects, and trust me, those are definitely
on tap. ;]

In the end, I dedicated this video to my buddy, Ken-Chan; he is an avid fan of Linkin Park and since Chester Bennington's passing, I suppose the video also serves, in a way, as a tribute to the late musician. I hope y''all like it though!
