The death & resurrection of Jesus Christ marked a crossover from the old dispensation (OT) to the new dispensation (NT). We went from Hebrew (OT) to Greek (NT) scripture. We went from Hebrew time (dusk to dusk) to Greek time (high noon apposition, midnight to midnight.)
