Many church Christians want to be feel blessed 24/7 - well we are, BUT we need Pastors to cover verses like this in Jeremiah 17:9.
Ultimately, it's about pleasing God with our lives.
Not in constant appeasement of our carnality.

Judges chapter two describes a nation and a church that went from hypocrisy to outright forsaking of a holy God.
There is nothing to 'conserve' - there is everything to Rebuild!

The wise man or woman sees the evil coming and prepares.
Time to get our Mindset, Faith, and Tribe in order.

For the wise man sees the coming evil, and hides himself.
Prepare our Mindset, our Relationship with God, and get around better people (Tribe).

There are seven major festivals/feasts listed in Leviticus 23.
They represent events and also time epochs.

The Omnipresent God is everywhere - and sees all.
There are holy Books being compiled in Heaven about our deeds, good & evil.
We will be rewarded even though others may not see it here in this life.

Jesus told the Apostles & disciples to beware lest they become deceived (Matthew 24).
Repeatedly.
I John says to be not deceived, little children.
A good habit of open-minded Bible reading will cure this.

God knows - Psalm 145:17-20

It is simply amazing that this is debatable - but knowing the false Gospel that is taught in many evangelical churches, perhaps this is a distinct sign of the times.

What is the Rapture? And who exactly is going in that event?
Scores of verses have ONE overriding theme:
Christians, be ready!
Be spiritually watchful for Jesus' Thief in the Night Coming.

Believers must take a firm decision to follow God.
But we must never discount the sovereignty of the Lord.
Never. There are too many verses on this.

One cannot serve God and mammon (themselves, the flesh, the world).
Choose ye this day whom to serve.

"....Nimrod the might hunter before the Lord. And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel...." (Genesis 10:9-10).
"....and power was given him (Antichrist) over all kindreds, tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him..."
(Revelation 13:7-8).

Idolatry, worship of idols, is a term that includes anything that we put or emphasize before God. This is its usage in the New Testament.

Rather than putting the emphasis on church attendance, denominations, or religious programs, Christian believers (look at the action in Book of Acts) are to present the person of Jesus Christ first to the world.

And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
- Romans 8:28

Do most Christians know this verse actually exists?
We need leaders (and prayer) to protect the children from grooming and all manner of Satan's evil.

Showing up in church once a week (or month) is not what this Christian faith is all about.
The Apostle Paul speaks of increasing our faith, of movement, and becoming stronger in the Spirit. - Colossians 1:9-12
