After the run up to their release was probably the biggest shitshow of 2019 for the games industry, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are FINALLY here. Can they hold up to Game Freak's low-balled promises, or was the outrage justified? Honestly, both, kinda.

Against all odds, Symphogear did it.
After a third last chance it had finally become a successful franchise, and successful it became. Topping sales charts for multiple seasons and rivalling even Fate in revenue, Symphogear GX was a big deal.
However, something was lost, as Symphogear became the legendary franchise it is today. Luckily with the show's newfound success, and near guaranteed follow-up viewership, Kaneko could focus on bringing back the magic that made the first two seasons of Symphogear as special as they are, while keeping GX' appeal.

Sometimes a second chance is all you need, and Symphogear definitely made up on that with its' second season G. I've definitely had the most intense watching experience of any season of this show with G.
Let's see if it holds up.
