Welcome to Bizarre Broadcast. I am interested in dreams. What they are? Why we experience them? If they are a means of communication between God and man? If the Devil can interfere? In 2013 I began a blog that documented my dreams and nightmares. This blog was called SLEEP TALK. I started it on Tumblr but within a year transferred all my dreams to a new blog on Blogger where it exists today. Last year, I started a youtube channel called BIZARRE BROADCAST documenting my dreams from the blog in video form.
I've learned a lot since I began. For example, what I dream most about: 9/11, sharks, Leatherface (from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre). I also dream many of the same plots over and over again: I am in high school and I forget which class to go to next or I forgot to do my math homework (always math), another dream I've dreamt many times places me near a crowd of people in a building but then I start walking away. I walk down hallway after hallway, all the while, the voices of the crowd get dimmer and dimmer until I am completely alone.
Science will tell us that dreams are random pictures in our heads usually having something to do with things we've experienced that day or in recent times. After blogging over 500 dreams I can tell you they are not random pictures. Many of my dreams have intricate plot structures. I have even on two occasions dreamt of future events: The Malaysian airline disappearance and an avalanche in Europe that killed two climbers.
I will continue to learn from my dreams but now I want to extend an invitation to you. This is a community where you can detail dreams that have stayed in your mind, that stand out to you in some way. I want to know what exists in the dreams and nightmares of others. Feel free to let me know. You are among friends here. All are welcome.
