Yet another pedal demo returns for Episode 4 - Part 1. I bought a new amp for use with my band; a Marshall DSL100H head to be a backup (or maybe replace as a my primary amp) for my band, The Cilikis. This amp/pedal demo is centered around my rig setup for the band so the pedals and content is specific to that.
My primary amplifier is a JCM2000 DSL 100 head that needed backup as the band is getting ready to gig the latest album.
I demo my own two pedals in context with this exploring the new amp as well.
I know you have lots of other important things that you need to do but it'd be greatly appreciated if you'd like and comment or maybe even you'd like to subscribe? You will have my eternal gratitude.

Re-upload from my other channel! No Sweep picking!
Continuing on the theme of playing arpeggios without using the common sweeping technique (urgh! dont get me started on that! No I'm NOT anti sweeping but I do think its being flogged to death as the only arpeggio technique worth doing. Im on Marty Friedman and Paul Gilbert's side on this)
One of my favourite Paul Gilbert-isms is his arpeggios using different chord types like Major 6ths and 13ths etc... I saw a video Paul had done regarding this arpeggio and I loved it. Such a different effect on the arpeggio sound.
Here is an A Major 6th arpeggio using a wide string skipping technique. One note on the first string followed by three notes on the next and another three notes on the third string.
About a year ago, Jan 2018. I needed a replacement guitar as my main acoustic has bit the dust after years and years of use and neglect. I needed a quick replacement (Original video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsjWB-aie9M) (since replaced again). This cheapo didn't last more than a year or so.
I didn't expect it to really fall apart that quickly
Working on a JFET based overdrive circuit. This is a very basic circuit that overdrives quite nicely. The idea is to get a raw "tiny terror" ish kind of drive tone that I can use into my Tiny Terror amp. Given that I like the sound of the terrors tone, it has no FX loop and id like to get a tubey tone BEFORE it hits the amp so i can add things like delay and reverbs etc...
Currently still testing and tweaking the circuit and so far so good. Im certainly liking what im hearing

A mate of mine gave me a loan of his BOSS FDR-1 Deluxe Reverb pedal so I thought I'd better give it a demo/run through and a review. Welcome to my Guitar Effects BitChute channel!
BMC Guitar Effects came about after investigating how to get the best tone for my requirements and after stumbling on to my guitar idol, Paul Gilbert, video demonstrating his pedal board gave me the idea to branch out on my own and build my own instead of using others made by other makers.
Ive decided to migrate my videos from YouTube to BitChute as a protest against YouTube's rampant demonetization policies, especially of content creators that they deem "do not provide any value to the community" as if they are some kind of content arbiter of what people like or what they think as "repetitive" content . That doesn't mean that I wont upload to YouTube, quite the contrary. This platform will be the alternative location for my material.
