1) What are علم and معرفة? ‘Ilm is revelatory, all our sciences (العلوم الشرعية) are absolute knowledge, undoubted, because their source is revelation. ‘Ilm is direct reality.

Marifah is knowing directly, in which it is above the five senses (the five senses can lie to us), Allah is not known by the five senses. Faith is not a feeling.

2) What Does ‘Science’ Mean in the Anglosphere?
- “Laws” based on patterns and regularities (Fann without Usul model)
