Having a knack to landing on ones feet no matter what may come is a good life hack.
I once performed this song (first time ever)in a room ful of writers and could hear and see them physically gasp at the bridge for some reason. Into every mans life ,a little rain must fall..I am always reminded if this song when it does.

This song was the ORIGINAL" POKER FACE" had a not so catchy chorus which basically said NEVER show your hand when it comes to matters of love .
I am Bryan Eddy ,singer songwriter ,free man who writes and performs Classic Rock today .
A self taught everything , I make my home bedroom demos from the ideas in my head.I don't read or write actual music theory ,I just bang on plastic until it is somewhat enjoyable to the average ear.
I started writing lyrics as a boy and by the time I reached 24 had over 6,000.
Those are a joke really , and they are contained in 20 or so college ruled yellowing notebooks.
They were,however good practice ,because later in life I would start to actually play music myself ,and rather than try to crowbar a lyric into a song ,I would instantly write a story for the 3 to 5 minute song ,inspired by its tone and feel.
I was quite prolific and actually forget more things than most people have.
I let 20 years go by without writing anything new ,and have so many things its not necessary .
I can sit and play and sing for hours every day .
I do hope to write some new stuff when I finally start playing with others again.
Being in a "band" is a little like family . A pain in the ass.
I couldn't imagine being with,playing or being produced by someone I don't love.
I have worked alone since quitting my band(s) I had with my brother in 89.
I just like to do it you see. I like making music . I do it for me.
If you like it ,that's fantastic, but it is for my enjoyment .
I started writing songs long before I could play anything myself.
After a while I started figuring out other peoples music and learned..I wasn't doing anything different really.
I love when I hear a favorite artist of mine make a mistake playing or singing .
I used to think they were inhuman and it turns out they were also mere mortals.
I love hearing Pete Townshends readily available DEMOS for every great thing he did with the Who.
He was of course more advanced than I as a player/writer/performer/producer..
but we still do the same thing with similar results .Just different songs.
I too have recorded a lot of his stuff for fun ,its on a cassette tape now ..so there's that .
I do everything in my room without great mics, or compressors ,or producing skills...so these things take time.
I recently FINALLY recorded and uploaded my entire debut album in demo form
titled " A Tree Falls in The Forest " .It features songs inspired by the influence my British musical heroes had on me.
Even out of obscurity ,someone discovered my song about a Tree and I received awards for them ,lame demo and all.
