Can God create a stone to heavy for Him to lift? Absolutely not! God is above all creation. There is nothing in creation greater than God. No matter the size of the stone, God is greater.

Likewise, there is nothing that can thwart God's plans. Satan knows he has been defeated so he wants to take as much of God's creation with him. Why? Because we are made in God's image. He hates God and by extension he hates us.

When a father compassionately disciplines his child, he does it out of love. Similarly, God corrects His children. When a Christian sins he/she should feel the conviction of the presence of the Lord. If you do not experience the Lord's presence when you sin, you need to check your relationship with God.

Israel was being corrected, subjected to slavery. But even in that, God was with His people; He placed them in a setting where they could prosper so much that they began feeling comfortable. Soon they forgot their calling in the world: to represent God in His holy temple.

The complexity level of the assembly of a puzzle is directly related to the number of pieces. Have you ever tried to put together a puzzle without the box?

The Bible prophets were putting together a puzzle without the box. God spoke to them at different times and gave them all a piece or two, but no box. They faithfully wrote these pieces in their respective Biblical narratives.

Today we have the benefit of seeing how the puzzle is being arranged. We have the collective writings of the prophets and can begin to see the developing panorama.

The Bible speaks of Jesus' coming once more. As we observe the convergence of end-times events, the Church should not be in awe of the precision of the fulfilment of these prophesies, but become reassured of the impending salvation of God's children and doom of the world.

Imperialism, greed, pride, affluence, corruption and idolatry are all things Habakkuk warns us about. How relevant is this book to us today. We can look back into history and understand what our sin will deliver.

God's people, we must stand firm in truth, in light of the apostacy that surrounds us. We must urgently bring people to Christ. We must keep oil in our lamps in expectation of our Lord's return.
