Ordered by his father to sell his old, small donkey, named Small One, a boy in ancient Palestine takes the donkey to the Jerusalem market. Finding no buyers there, the boy is about to give up when he meets a kind man named Joseph.

A young boy must part with his beloved donkey, named "Small One". When he takes him into town to sell him, the only person who wants to buy him is the tanner. When all hope seems lost in finding a kind master, Small One leads his master back to the tanner's shop where he is willing to sacrifice his life. A miracle happens, and he is bought by Joseph to carry Mary to Bethlehem.

Woody is getting his hair cut at the local barber when suddenly, said barber walks right out on him (it's his lunch break). What's worse, a news report states that Louie the lion has escaped from the circus. Sure enough, Louie enters the barber shop and forces Woody to hide him from the cops. The cops enter but Woody sends them away ("There's no lion here"). However, Woody soon learns that there is a reward offered for whoever captures Louie. Woody offers the lion a "disguise", luring him into a trap and molding a vase over his head. Finally, the ringmaster looking for Louie arrives but is turned off by the lion's now hideous appearance and refuses Woody the reward. Woody is getting his hair cut at the local barber shop, but the lunch whistle blows and the barber leaves for lunch right in the middle of Woody's haircut. Shortly after this, Woody hears on the radio that King Louie the lion has escaped from the circus.

It's spring, and all the animals of the forest are excited by the forest's latest birth, a buck fawn his mother has named Bambi. The animals are more excited than usual as Bambi's lineage means he will inherit the title of prince of the forest. Along with his mother, Bambi navigates through life with the help of his similarly aged friends, Thumper, a rabbit kit who needs to be continually reminded by his mother of all the lessons his father has taught him about how to live as a rabbit properly, and Flower, a skunk kit who likes his name. As different animals, they have their own issues and challenges which may not translate to the others. Being similarly aged, Bambi, Thumper and Flower may have to experience the uncharted phases of their lives without the knowledge or wisdom unless gleaned from those who have gone through them before. Bambi has to learn early that the lives of deer and of many of the other forest animals are not without their inherent dangers, for deer especially in the beautiful albeit exposed meadow. Bambi will also find that his ascension to prince of the forest is not a guarantee as other buck deer and situations may threaten that ascension.

The high mountains are a dangerous place for humans, so valiant rescue dogs mount the guard, keeping their casks of brandy at the ready. So does Pluto, too proud to play a single paw-move with a jolly polar seal-pup, who simply sees the wooden thing as a fun toy, but the bumbling beast soon discovers the perils of the ice-scape extend to canines who snootily stick their snout too high to see where they tread: he stumbles into the ice, gets caught under it and passes out. The slick seal bravely dives in after him to pull his unwilling playmate out, already covered in a huge ice-block, and puts the cask to miraculously effective use on its carrier.

The vibration shakes all the leaves off Elmer and One would see a fig leaf. This part is cut from this version. This one was found on an old homemade CD.

Summaries

The same father-son coyotes seen in Camp Dog (1950) sneak into the hen-house that Pluto is guarding. A chicken yawns, putting junior to sleep, so dad comes in. Pluto wakes up and gives chase. The varmits hide in the rafters of Pluto's house, and it takes some time for him to notice. Pluto and father pass a chicken and its nest back and forth a few times before Pluto substitutes junior for the chicken, tricking dad.

He awakens, under a blanket of snow, to find that both Winter and a hungry wolf are knocking at his door. The wolf has intentions of eating Woody...but Woody also has the same thoughts regarding the wolf.
