Hi, my name is Chris.

Thank you for stopping by my channel! I'm an author, optioned screenwriter and actor.

I also produce Horror films via my production company Black Coppice Films.

I write dark, fast-paced mystery thrillers and edgy, character-driven horror that combine strong elements of fantasy and magic realism.

As a screenwriter, I've previously collaborated with Wei Wei Si on a screenplay about the British wartime spy Robert Van Gulik. Wei Wei Si worked as the second assistant director on the James Bond Movie Skyfall.

As an actor, I've played twin assassins in the movie Agent Kelly with Raya Films. I've also appeared as an extra in the film fantastic beasts and series two of the Netflix drama the crown.

My favourite authors include Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, H.G. Wells, Clive Barker, Edgar Allen Poe and Jules Verne. I also love reading books that explore world mythology. My horror fiction often includes mythological beasts.

Before I turned my hand to writing fiction, I taught English in South Korea. I've also sold stocks and shares in Manila, Philippines. I’ve always loved travelling to new countries and I spent several years exploring Eastern Europe and the Far East.
