On Tuesday, while speaking during a city council meeting on curtailing gun violence, an African-American gun owner in North Carolina blasted government officials who want to restrict gun rights of law-abiding citizens.
The city council meeting was held to determine whether the community should cancel an upcoming gun show which is "held twice yearly at the Coliseum, a city-owned building," WFMY News reported.
"When are you all gonna start standing up for the majority? ... I'm the majority! I'm a law-abiding citizen who's never shot anybody," Mark Robinson said. "It seems every time we have one of these shootings, nobody wants to put the blame where it goes, which is at the shooter's feet. You want to put it at my feet! It doesn't make any sense."
“You want to restrict my right to buy a firearm and protect myself from some of the very people you are talking about in here tonight,” Robinson continued. “The law-abiding citizens of this community, of other communities we are the first ones taxed and the last ones considered.”

A 17-year-old named Corey Johnson claimed his Muslim faith commanded him to fatally stab a 13-year-old boy during a sleepover and severely injured another 13-year-old along with his mother who was stabbed more than a dozen times.
Palm Beach Florida authorities said the attacker confessed to the killing, attempted killings, and the motive of Islamic Jihad. After killing one teen and stabbing two more people Johnson barricaded himself in a room when police arrived. He was taken into custody at about 8 a.m. by the city’s SWAT team.
According to local media “Interim Chief Clint Shannon said Jupiter police, Palm Beach County School District police and the FBI previously investigated Johnson for “alleged violent tendencies” that they received through “intelligence gathering” in the northern part of the county.” He recently dropped out of school.

In an exclusive interview with NBC News’ Megyn Kelly, Russian President Vladimir Putin discusses whether he will try to put a stop to meddling in future U.S. elections.
Russian President Vladimir Putin says he will “never” extradite a group of Russian nationals indicted in February by special counsel Robert Mueller for interfering in the 2016 U.S. presidential election.
Putin also denied that the Russian government was involved in election meddling, in an interview with NBC’s Megyn Kelly that aired Sunday,
Kelly asked Putin about Mueller’s indictments of 13 Russian nationals who are accused of using fake personas to plant political ads and promote political rallies on American social media sites. Mueller issued indictments for the operatives as well as three companies involved in the effort.
“I know that they do not represent the Russian state, the Russian authorities,” Putin told Kelly.
“What they did specifically, I have no idea. I do not know what they were guided by.”
Putin called for American authorities to provide the Russian government with evidence linking the propaganda campaign to the Kremlin.

Controversial columnist and author Michael Wolff abruptly ended an interview with an Australian talk show Sunday morning.
The author of “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House” walked off the set of “The Today Show” after being questioned about his claims that President Donald Trump is having an affair.
“You said during a TV interview just last month that you are ‘absolutely sure’ that Donald Trump is currently having an affair while president behind the back of the first lady, and I repeat you said you were ‘absolutely sure,'” host Ben Fordham posited during the segment.
He continued: “Just last week, however, you back-flipped and said I quote, ‘I do not know if the president is having an affair.’ Do you owe the president and the first lady an apology, Mr. Wolff?”
As can be seen in the clip below, Wolff didn’t answer the question. Instead, he claimed he couldn’t hear Fordham. However, as noted by Business Insider, the interview had been going smoothly for roughly five minutes prior to the incident occurring.
