It started in 1825 with two brothers, Cyrus and James Clark, and the Brown Petersburg, a sheepskin slipper made by hand in the picturesque English village of Street in Somerset.

Now the world number one in ‘Everyday Footwear’, we design and we manufacture. We also retail and wholesale in all four corners of the globe, currently selling more than 50 million pairs of shoes every year. And we’re growing - in North America, in Europe, China and now in India.
